Most tweezers I have are bent and I feel like I’ve been soldering around corners for years. Look after your tools and your tools will look after you! I have a broom here that’s 14 years old. It’s had 5 new heads and 3 new handles and it’s still going strong! 😆👍✌️😷🇬🇧
The grinding stone is indeed great and very useful. The method used is the easiest but i usually straighten the tweezers back to near perfection and then sharpen the tips with some ceramic chips that are very fine. I try to keep the insides flat and just round up the tips until they look like a split needle.
Alex your channel is just so informative, absolutely love the videos you produce, thank you so much for all the content, if I didn't live in the UK I'd want to come to you for training.
Dear Alex, Do you know of any awesome fume extractors that on the market today. I saw one on your website thinking you made a video on it but no. I would like your opinion on the unit and if it is a good choice for small projects.
Already answered Juan in yesterdays video. northridgefix.com/product/hepa-fume-extractor-smoke-absorber-purifier-by-2uul/ Awesome fume extractor for the price with High density Filter to catch big particles, HEPA filter to catch microscopic particles and carbon filter for fume odors. I'll try to do a video in the future.
I keep seeing you use that grinding pen but have never heard of one before. Gonna search and see if you have a video demonstrating the grinding pen, it sounds like it's powered
i have some tweezers but they are totally garbage fixing with just my left arm working is there a tweezer you can recommend for me please. the other is a vice that is screwed to the table but you have to be very gentle with it.
@@NorthridgeFix Any comment is good for the RUclips algorithm. So it doesn't matter what he says. Maybe it is the only thing he knows how to say in English, and he wants to be supportive of you.
Nice, get a habit of repairing stuff instead of throwing away and buying new. does not matter if it is a 8 $ tweezer or 800 $ lawnmower. You will save $ and get some skill + sense of accomplishment that you will never be able to buy.
My tweezer I bend many times before until the sharp edge become soft and bend very easily Frustrated with it, I chop the sharp edge away and grind a new sharp edge

And your nickname is Trigger 😂
so really it's not 14 years old anymore 🤣
I’ve had the broom 14 years. Got it same time as a sense of humour. Just call me trigger!
Definitely worth spending on the stone if you go through tweezers. It will pay for itself in the end. Brilliant explanation and demo of what to do.
One of the best RUclips repair I have ever watch I keep watching u old video ❤️❤️😇😇
You're a very good salesman, you have done well in many different fields.

That grinding pen is AMAZING I bought one and it truly is really good quality. I was surprised how quiet and easy it was to use for the price!
Nice tool. If my tweezers were bent, i used to bend them back with some other tools. Thank you for the video. Greets

Always good to take care of your tools, yes, accidents do happen.
I used to chop the tip and sharpen them with sand grit, this works better
Wow. Your videos are always straight up and instructive. Thank you for that!
Gooood morning from Slovenia 😁 watching video on sofa on porch 😎. Sunny cold morning 🤪

Good one Bro. Keep on rocking!

I have used a regular Sharpening Stone to grind tweezers in the past and still do, but this looks like an easier way to do it.

Which dc bench powersupply you use and what is the maximum voltage and Amp?
Any update on expanding store with new employee
I use flattest part of pliers and bend the tweezers back. hot air tool seems to make tweezers black after a while
Good work!
can be used for soldering tips, to make them straight?
Soldering iron tips have a protective coating on them, that you should not grind or file away.
Awesome job bro keep rocking bro 👍👍👍
Do you ever change that comment line. Same one every time.

Now I learned something new.
Love the videos!
good job mate.
Salut you frate you're the best in putting things straight 👆💯
Well, we can use any kind of sand paper. Not necessarily a grinding stone with a groove.
Stone works much better than sandpaper
Please tell me your success story.... I love your work
Amazing information.
just what I needed to know
Fishing hook sharpener does the same thing
nice Vedio ☮️👍
Sir can you help me am live in pakista i have samsung note plus this is problm signal problm and wifi isue can you helpe plzzz
Best if you add water to the stone prior to use it.
Northridge were you switching tweezers? ;)
I think you should consider tempering it. If you are using hot gun with it maybe you are annealing it with the time.
Nice 👍🏾
A pair of pliers will do that more efficiently!
Grinding, doing the bottom, polishing the tip.... ....not sure if i want to...
how come i never thought of this
Am waiting your answer plz help me

Better than factory!!! 😜😂
Awesome ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Man if i had your scope i could sharpen the fuck out of my knives. That was cool to watch, better than factory.
Tweezers are fine now, they are just bendered than factory.
usually every couple uses ill use a pair of pliers although i could be nicer to my tweezers
Now you can do surgery on mosquitos and gnats.
better than factory
My tweezer I bend many times before until the sharp edge become soft and bend very easily
Frustrated with it, I chop the sharp edge away and grind a new sharp edge
Dolphin smiling.
Give it a heat treatment and dip it in oil to harden it 😂
Good grinding there.
I use a big hammer and an anvil.
Just kidding.
👍
We being Indians never use these :)
