It looks so easy to do, but when you realise the real size (not the view via the microscope) of the components, traces and gaps inbetween, then you understand it wil take LOTS of practice to be able to do this kind of work "the right way". 👍🏻
Your knowledge, precision, and presentation are fantastic. Thank you for what you are doing, truly. I am gaining more and more confidence with every video. Noticing subtle queues like how the flux simmers and bubbles as it penetrates between the contacts of the connector just before it is the right temperature, or how to slide those tiny pads off the plastic sheet they came on directly over the work area to avoid having to get them stuck on the tweezers, it is so useful to be able to recognize this after tuning in for some time. I detest Apple engineering, but luckily most people silly enough to buy into that stuff also have the money to get it repaired! Keep up the great work:)
a great job as alloways hope Allah bless you and the big boss without forgetting your awesome dad , i wish that occasionally we have some videos like 1 hour fixing like 2_3 devices 💟
It seems tedious to check every pin, but I followed your advice when soldering a connector in a Bose Wave radio and checked each pin. Found one that looked good but wasn't solid! Thanks for your videos!
If I remember correctly, that is not a MacBook Air and is just a MacBook. I always sweat taking that model apart because I’ve ripped the charging ribbon cable before. It doesn’t come apart the same as any other MacBook and it caught me off guard.
next time can you show you putting the ipad together and undoing the screen please i always watch your videos i think there great but cannot find one of you doing it a - z . keep up the good work.
Very nice work. It's nice to see bigboss so happy. He likes what he is doing, you also alex. That is the best way to solve and fix problems. Thank you for the video. Greets
My wife was watching the video with me and when Alex simply laid the fpc connector on the board and said "the job is finished" she goes "is that really all there is to it" 🤣... No baby he's joking 🤦♂️
Hi.i just watched some interesting video on RUclips.if you have a problem with reading chip numbers use Polerazing Camera Filter! Hope it will help with your repairs.👍
@@NorthridgeFix , you are correct. The scientific community is in full force. With that amount of knowledge from the scientific community in your comment section, I'm surprised they haven't cured cancer or created cold fusion electrical batteries yet. I look forward to more of their knowledge in the comment section in the future.
Great work, Maybe you can make a video on comparing various companies build quality and which companies have the most fail rate. Based on your experience it would be very helpful. تحياتي
Loved your video! What is the recommended temperature to desolder IC/SMD component with an Hot Air station, and how much time does it need to get melt to solder/desolder? Many Thanks!

Prolly a dum question but could we use mask over that filter to secure it or would that be a mess if it had to be worked on again? I really like your green alcohol dispenser looks sturdy. Prolly a good store item 😉 Thanks Alex 😊

Skilled workers always make it look easy.
It’s pretty easy once you understand how everything works and have all the tools necessary to fix it and of couldn’t it takes a lot of skills
@@hamadabeso what does that meen ??
Well said
What's cool is that Alex actually uses the microscope when he solders. A lot of people can't do it with a 2D screen. They need the depth perception.
I like how big boss said: "بسم الله" before plugging the charging cable. cheers to you both
You definitely got me with the ending joke. I was scratching my head for a minute there 🤕
Great fix and great family, keep it up 💐
What was the joke time stamp ?

You make it look so easy, soldering and fixing
Maybe watching you fixing things encouraged the iPad owner to repair it himself in the first place 😁
