Hi Alex, would be cool if you could feature the work of Big Boss by showing how to open/disassemble certain things like phones or tablet and how to assemble them in a quality way. I guess this would be very interesting too! 😎
From your comments about keeping voltage recordings, that should give inspiration for the next test meters, that will do that for you, and guide you through the fault-finding procedure.
Speaking from a research point of view if you add playlists to your channel you'll get more views like separate computers from gpus etc... and people will click through each video in the playlist instead of looking for them just little food for thought love the channel!!!!!!!
Perfect! I was thinking if you could use the cutting tool you showed some days ago for that shielding thing. The risk of damaging other components exist both ways. In camera it looks very thick metal thing.
Seen so many of these done now and almost every one ends with the screen back on but no one ever shows the screen being installed properly it's always here it is with the screen back on and working but great job on the repair 👍
I've been doing repairs for 2 years now and I used a TON of your videos to learn! I now successfully repair 5-10 consoles a week however I can't afford a decent solder iron hahaha
How come tristar and capacitors etcetera brakes…? Not only in ipads but laptops as well…? Asuming that they dont get liquid damage… how can we prevent this? Love your videos 👍 Will in near future start a business like yours in Sweden. Have a good one!
Thank you, but you didn't mention the most important thing. Will it work with a USB-C adapter? What about USB flex adapters with different pads? (like micro USB, USB C)
hi,i am missing the big inductor coil next to the charging ic S358 on samsung galaxy 3.7.0 SM-210 and i would like to know its value so i can replace it .can you please help me to get the inductance value of this coil .on the schematics its L505. thanks
Hye alex…may I know if you ever make a microphone on the phone/tablet repair? I’m curious to see that since that part is kinda sensitive right? So seeing you handling that might be an amazing sight to behold😂
Hello Alex I recently shipped you a Nintendo switch from Boston, for repair please do video on it if you don’t mind I’m very curious to know what’s wrong with it thanks :)
Hey I was wondering: should there be metal shielding over that chip you replaced? It was there before and I can image that you need it for EMC shielding :) I would love your opinion on this.
You can't buy a new CPU. Buying a used one can cost more then the price of the motherboard with no guarantee that you will get a good working chip. A lot of faulty ones are being sold as good working. Rebelling and soldering the chip is a time consuming process and basically a hit or miss. So it's neither practical nor economical to replace a laptop CPU.

Very nicely done, also it's very impressive how steady your hands are on this size components. keep up the good work

Perfect! I love when you go directly to the component to change. Another "EASY FIX" Hi from Uruguay.
Good job Alex :) This one looked a bit more complicated because of the location of the chip 😊
Hi Joey, love your channel 👍
Hey Joey, I watch yours too.
@@edo6923 Hey Edo, ah thanks! 😁
@@roseelectronics4582 Hey Rose, awesome thankyou :)
Great job ...im just wondering why wouldn't you used the grinding pen while cutting the metal shield..
Wow, you really took time to respond to some comments. That's great considering you have a reaaaaly long line of devices that's need urgent repairs.
Good Morning from Greece Alex.
Seen so many of these done now and almost every one ends with the screen back on but no one ever shows the screen being installed properly it's always here it is with the screen back on and working but great job on the repair 👍
Hi Alex you could use the grinder to cut the metal part covering the Tristar chip
I've been doing repairs for 2 years now and I used a TON of your videos to learn! I now successfully repair 5-10 consoles a week however I can't afford a decent solder iron hahaha
If you're repairing that many aweek and can't afford a decent iron, you must not be charging enough!!
Thanks ! Have a good day Alex
Very nice explaining about the measurements from the pins. Thank you for this video. Good work

I was watching your videos while I got the notification for this one. Glad to see your excellent work 💯
Awesome as always .. greetings from Germany :)
Well done Alex loving the music as well
great video alex .. maybe a dremmel tool would help you cutting sheilding easier or your scraper attachment ?? just a thought ...regards joe
Not a good idea. A lot of components under the shield 1mm apart.
Good morning
Good morning my brother from Egypt, even though it's midnight in California.

Try cutting with the new grindingpen!
Always a pleasure with nbf
That board is a great tool. Someone was using their head with that one.
Nice work, tri-stars for you work.
I think it would be good if tristar tester board have expected values written against every pin.
Nice!

according to your video that if any number on tristar test board is failed, then the tristar chip need to be replaced?
Do you have current training schedule?
What about the new grinding pen you used recently. Could it cut through the metal shield? Too risky or maybe possible?
great job once again !
Hi mate could you plz give me your microscope details or link to buy it from ?
Thanks for your great video and sharing your experience

can u use grinder pen to cut shield?
why do you use that cupper wire on the soldering before heating?
It's solder removing wick!

Awesome job bro keep rocking bro 👍👍👍
Nice work indeed!
Great job ..
Just wondering do you reball your replacement chips with leaded solder or just go with the unleaded balls chips come with?
I have whacking your videos from Afghanistan all time
great job
Good Job
good job mate.
good job
Awesome job 👍
Perfect 👌
What if one of the points shows OL?
Inspiration 😍
You should have unsolder the shield way better
Why not the grinder Tool to cut the shield
SIR can you make a course on how a person like me who has basic know ledge of electronics but not of repairing can learn it
We need On Screen Multimeter like "BK Precision 390A"
It's same value number for android (micro usb type) ? And what similar ic Tristar for Android ?
Of course not. Why would they be the same. Totally different connectors and devices. Charging iC for android known as tristar for apple. .
@@NorthridgeFix Apple seems to have a lot of fancy names for their ics

When you are working on a computer and it turns into a "no fix" due to your diagnosis of a CPU problem, why don't you replace the CPU chip?

A lot of faulty ones are being sold as good working. Rebelling and soldering the chip is a time consuming process and basically a hit or miss.
