I think you make these repairs look so easy that people mistakenly try to repair stuff at home first!
No substitute for experience
Facts
Factos
"annd pass!.. fail. What?" 😂😂 It happens. Good job getting it done!
"Why do they do this?" Because they watch your videos and think it is simple to do what you do. I'm in the electronics repair field and feel your pain.
As long as they keep practicing and don’t make too many of the same mistakes, how else would someone learn. Some are better and quicker then others at learning.
thank god your customers don't watch your video and try to do it themselves xD
then you are a fake it is not the pain but the goal, ad i didnt see mister nortbridgefix repair something for real then some hdmi ports replacements or some traces , and maybey he can learn something from louis or jessy , they dont overjudge themselves to think they are good or succesfull,
@@henkherck4511 What the hell are you talking about. I have been in the electronics failure analysis for over 40 years. How long have you been doing it or are you just some troll?
@@henkherck4511 Troll
I probably have watched 80% of your videos, that smile when you fix something everytime is priceless,no money can buy that...keep up the good work, cheers from Greece.
He was so happy that he ran the program twice to see if it was passed... Well-done ✅
ALWAYS double-check.
Do it one more time to make sure it was not a fluke.
You are the best! Deserve all the money for your job.
I watched some of your videos from 2019 and have to say you have continued to improve all your skills. Kudos!!
Nicely done. A perfect example of why you need people like us.
Wonderful patience, perseverance and skill to repair this car crash of a job.
The finesse you have using hot air to desolder a relatively large chip next to many small components and not even moving them amazes me! Well done, or as you say, Very Nice!
I know a lot of shops would have taken one look at that and said no way I'm touching that. Amazing job.
I'm also do electronic repair. And you sir are are great at your job and I'm going to buy. Your flux.
It's a professional job, I watch your videos every times. I'm just wondering what temperature and air you used to remove the plate and reflow the tristar chip? Thanks
another Great job,i guess when a component fails and gets hot it has potential to de solder others close by
Alex you are an amazing tech! Well done! Very impressive!
You are an artist!
This prior disaster brought me some anxiety.
The King of Masters...
It's nice to see how to use a multimeter for identifying paths for trace repair.
Well done معلم
Great work !! I'm learning something new every day from your videos
Good job.
Great, clean and nice job. One more time. Congrats!.
"Not obvious where this pads connect to."
It would be great to have an inductor and tone probe, similar to the tool used in networking.... Maybe you can make one?!
Hell yeah you “did an amazing job”. Awesome man
You are the boss👍 thumbs up for this perfect job. I love your videos, really appreciate your videos. Thank you
Absolute genius! BETTER THAN FACTORY!! 👊💥💥👊
That connector was the Tsar bomba, you should charge the customer extra for that repair. Better than factory.
We are a big fan of your "better than factory" phrase 🙂. Had a quick question though.. how did the diode mode (vs the continuity mode) help you confirm the open trace
That's a nightmare to fix but can be done
I see "NorthbridgeFix", i click.
That was so cool!
If those people don’t do this we can’t work bro god job i like watching you mashallah respect🙏
very good
Great job 😀👍
Amazing work mate
Good job! No wonder everyone want you to fix their mess. How much warranty do you give?
LOLyes ive had a few of those they are not fun i also charge more for the repair
Nice job and video like always
great work
Have you ever used foam swabs instead of cotton to eliminate all those fibers that get everywhere?
Nice job like a boss.
- "Why do people do this?"
Because you make it look so easy, people want to try.... it's all your fault :)))
Great job and very educational, as usual. Brilliant!
BRAVO!!!
Thank you for the work that creates and ask you if you can translate the phones to the Arab or a special special translation of the phones Thank you very much
The real one BOMB
I knew that when he showed the image of the soldering attempt, the word “Heroshima” was going to be used.
Which solder are you using in this repair? Also temp on the tip please
And last did you disable autofocus?
Alsalam alikum...you are king of technical engineers brother...الله يبارك فيكم و يحفظكم و يرزقكم من حيث لا تحتسبوا
I like the way he says we got the job done. I feel like I'm helping him some how 😂
hello the tester you connect on the connector? has the link for Purchase in your site thank you
Would be interesting to know how board turned out into so sad state. Seems it was in result of failed attempt to replace damaged connector having regular solder with melting point too high for microsoldering. Thus all those destroyed traces.
Awesome boss
Very nice 👌
Why didn't you fully show how you founded it?
I would have thrown that piece away or returned it. That "was" from having gone crazy, to perfectly clean and working.
Please i need your help
I have a ipad 6
One day i was playing pubg and it shutdown after maybe 6 week i put the charging cable and try'd hard reset it started i put it again in charger the whole night when I woke up it was off until today
Is it the battery or charging circuit !
Hello can you give me the name of your multimeter I like the sound when its shorted, to know the short component using sound on multimeter
Fluke 87v
@@NorthridgeFix Thank you,
Superrrr superrr maxxxx thanks bro..m
nice
How much this fix cost?
THE 6 MILLION REFERENCE >.>
In my country (Turkey), this mainboard probably find himself at trash bin... Well done!
Why don’t you make a diagram for when the next same board comes in? Small effort, big help when in doubt or in Hiroshima.
magician !!
يعطيك العافيه وطوله البال
تسلم ايدك
btf 👍👍👍
A lot of ports and boards!
better than factory
Good recovery. being able to retrace your steps, re-solder and re-examine. really good video.
Estimated 140,000 people died in Hiroshima, would you say the board looks like 9/11? No you wouldn’t
How many new people you get
Nah thats just ez for northridgefix 😆😅💜💜
Channel viewers, can someone please let me know what is the liquid sort of thing is being used here on the circuit, while he starts cleaning and assessing the board? Thanks!
Probably it’s IPA, but I’m not sure
I would refuse to fix it If it came to me like that
beyond better than factory.
i guess the big thing is to be able to see it"
You should charge extra for this sort of repair, when the owner attempts to fix the board themselves and make a mess of it, makes a quick job into a very time consuming one.
Hi bro from Philippines
I am not gonna lie. I would call that one beyond repair.
Superbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb !!!
Came here for my midnight fix. :)
I wonder if there’s something you can’t fix if you had the time to do it lol
slow day?
Awsome
It takes a lot, but that reveal made me audibly gasp. Were they trying to solder with a lighter or something? Blow torch? Yeesh.
Great jumper work. People too often just get trigger happy and put them all back. Now, there's definitely the question as to whether one or two GND lines can handle the full load, but in my experience they've been ok.
Nice video. Please what are the recommended temperatures when soldering chips like the Tristar
Temperature is completely dependant on air flow speed and distance from the chip to the tip of the air nozzle. 390c roughly. Just practice on donor boards before doing anything that matters.
In such cases it is true when I say. If I didn't laugh I would cry. And I am still learning to laugh.
I sent a question about yours products ...but no answer 😔 I know you are busy...anyway thank you for your amazing videos
You say this is a customer's board but I seriously doubt that little John is doing his own repairs in his bedroom. I bet this was the work of another shop that shipped it to you as their own because they were too embarrassed to put their name out there.
Bom back to life
I was wondering what the life-time of that repair would be as the connection to the via is so small?
Wow! DAM . . .AGE. 👍

Story of my life!
Are you self taught on all these things or ?
More like a SUPERNOVA
Prior technician needs to stop using his 12” Channel Lock pliers and hammer for repair attempts.
bro turn on cc caption
6 million devices to repair🤣🤣🤣🤣💥
owsome kurwa job! :) you are master on polish youtube :) good day to you :)
👏👏
