@Smattless Wow. So this man works hard, displays moral and ethical character, and decides to allow his error to be shown and to do the right about it while explaining the reason he did it and you attack him. Then you try to speak for the majority. You sir are the only MORON here. He has the free right to express his religious beliefs and practice his religious beliefs just like anyone else and I will not stand by and say nothing when people like yourself try to infringe on that. Besides I TOO believe in God and believe that accountability to Him makes me a better person in the long run. Great job with the video and for being a man of integrity @NorthridgeFix.

Ethical or unethical, that's who you'll be with or without a God.
Religion *_can_* make you scared to do bad things. But, nowadays, people aren't scared anymore by religion. So, morality has to be taught and promoted. Religion only has morality as a side effect.

I’ve worked in repair shops like this before, and have unbelievable respect for you man. Profit margins are always super thin (just buying new gear is usually only a bit more expensive than the labor time it’ll usually take for fix tough stuff), customers are alwaysss assholes or at the very least crazy ignorant, you’ve always gotta do things urgently, and when you fix one thing you’ve still got more mystery things to diagnose and fix so you don’t have time for the elation of successfully fixing a device. But the SKILLS man, the freaking skills. The most unsung, most skilled, most stress-handling heroes in the IT industry. You guys are amazing.

Hi! I don't dislike when people talk about religion, I am not religious but I find beauty in the faith in religion. It can do so many good things to people.
I agree that religion makes people good. But I disagree that only religion makes people good. I know you didn't say that, but it almost seemed like you implied it. I also know that's probably not the case, but just to be sure I felt like sharing what makes me good: I wouldn't want to be in that person's position and be scammed, so I wouldn't do it to anyone either.

Aww Alex! I am an atheist and I feel the same way about cheating people! It makes me sad when people denigrate my ability to be a good person simply because I am not religious. I could say something along the lines of "Since the religious can just ask for forgiveness they have no motivation to not cheat" but that would also be dishonest to my worldview. Love your channel and work though, thanks for your videos.

Good tools and experience is a must, and that low melt solder must be amazing, cause you made it look so easy...
I had 2 HP tablets given to me to see if I could fix it, a lady that used to work with me, told me her kids broke 2 tablets, she couldn't manage to recharge them, and she didn't knew why, she sent the tablets to a repair shop and they said there was no fix. So I told her, if you dont mind, I can take a look at them, cause normally the shops here wont bother do that kind of job in low cost equipment, they just tell you is a no fix. So you go and buy a new one.
So I got them home, and realized that it was the usb port in the tablets that had broken pins, I searched online on youtube about fixing those exact same tablets, and found a vid on how to do it.
The guy in the video was like me, an amateur trying to fix his sons tablet.
So I looked online for the connectors, it costed like 8euros for those 2 asus usb ports, I talked to the lady next day, and told her, look I am not a repair professional, but I have some tools that I use in my diy repairs and if you want I buy the 2 connectors and fix it for you, or try it at least, and you pay me the connectors.
She said yes, I got the connectors, and started the repairs, the first one, I started getting frustrated really fast, cause I couldn't manage to remove it, hot air, mad the plastic of the usb casing, melt, and the connector was so small that it was really hard to unsolder with the tip I was using at the moment. And also, I didn't had low melt solder, so it would always get hard again in another side if I take the soldering iron out.
I managed to fix 1 of the tablets, and the other one I think because I made some capacitor or something move, never worked, the tablet worked if I changed the bateries, but because she was about to go to her holidays and wanted the tablets, I had not much time to play a bit more with it to try and fix it.
But it is nice to see the method you used in this video, cause is a learning experience, for my next fix if I need it, I know I will need low melt solder and a microscope or the big glass thing you use, cause looking at those kinds of components with your naked eye is a pain in the ass.
I managed to made some repairs, in tvs, radios, phones, and I love the feeling when I give the device back to people, and it works, also love that kind of lonely job where you do what you got to do, no one is there to bother you to tell you what to do.
I have at least 4 tvs here, that are not working, that were given to me since they were not working, and hopefully I will manage to fix them.
But I want to thank you and all the other youtubers who share this kind of stuff for free. Without you guys it would be way harder or almost impossible to fix anything if you dont know nothing like me.
Great job and keep them coming, I love your videos.
PS: sorry for the huge testament no one will probably read it, but still I had this feeling to tell the story :p, take care

I commend you for taking the hit on the broken screen rather than trying to blame the shipping company. However, I counted at least four times when you left the bench with the iPad hanging perilously over the edge, so basically you were asking for trouble, which is what you got. Even after it had fallen, later in the video, you still left it hanging over the edge! The lesson should have been clear - push it away from the edge before walking away.

Work ethics and a person word, is one of the most admirable qualities in somebody. I do import, repair and sell concert show lights, and many times I received new equipment broken, something stops working or sometimes even honest customers admitted it was broken by accident, and I always take care all my customers. I prefer loosing money before anybody in this world can say something bad about me. Life teach me that if you do good without seeking something in return, always God multiply the goods to you. Not always will be with money, it can be good health, good family or more work. I'm admire your skills, but now I do admire more your work ethics, not too common to see that on this days.

You don't need someone watching over you to do the right thing. You just need to care about doing the right thing. God is only 'required' if you're not moral, fortunately most people are moral on their own.
Thst being said, religious disagreement aside, you're videos are awesome and your honesty with your customers is amazing. You're very similar to Louis rossman in your composure, morals and content quality.

You don't need religion to live an ethical life. A moral framework should exist because it genuinely pays to be a good person. If you go around cheating and scamming people, your social circle will mirror that type of lifestyle. I don't answer to God, but I still have to answer to myself. If religion helps you to be a better person however, all the power to you.

10:52 OK man you said an awesome thing , and I want to ask you a question but please don't get angry if I ask you" are you are a Muslim or not because this is exactly what Islam is ordering to do, to be afraid of GOD and to not eat people's money in the bad way and to believe in only one GOD which is ALLAH there is no way that more than one GOD could exist. and I have to say that Islam is definitely against terrorism ,so please answer

I'm an atheiest without fear of judgement from a diety, but I still try to do the right thing.
And not because I am worried the police will find out or social disapproval either.
It's just the right thing to do - and I have to be able to live with myself. Even if no one else knows.... I know and that's enough.
Also feels good to do the right thing and help people.

Sad that you have to explain yourself why you should be a honest person.
However, there could be a downside. What if the customer won't believe you, and will suspect you that you've changed his original screen with a counterfeit one deliberately?

Not sure why "who is to blame" is even a question.
Though in real life, the answer is "The new guy!", or get a shop cat, and blame that ;)

The cost of you replacing that screen will earn you much more money over the years from A. A happy customer, and B. from people watching you on RUclips owning up to your mistake. Sucks to lose money but I sure sleep better when I dont screw someone over.

I dont think it is necessary to include religion into the equation of human values.
You should always expect the best, and prepare for the worst.
You make it sound like business is only legit if you comply to some religion connected rules.
I think it should be a basic human value for everyone not to screw people over.
And usually it is. Religion has nothing to do with these basic human values, even if you have the provenance of reading it off a book.
Most people do the right thing out of common dna based sense of being a human versus another human

Laws don't stop people from being bad, people stop people from being bad.
Look to nature for governance, see how animal work with each other, they are more moral than us. We have a lot to learn.
Religion can be a guide for people who are seeking guidance, however to give your own power away to someone something will only diminish yourself, you should take responsibility for your own actions be them bad or good.
