@@JoeTheFarmer All good here, we are planing for mid-April for our Spring Trip. You may be seeing me before that if it works out. Take care, and good luck with the new 4 Wheeler.

@@JoeTheFarmer it’s primarily surface rust that starts like little dots on the painted surface. The door bars are the big issue. Hey! Its efi and has about 33hp. Basically a TBoss 550 drivetrain. It’s nothing like some of the 125cc machines that tsc has sold. Its a real bike man. Engine is almost 500cc. Our Honda Rancher is 420cc’s. No power steering but unless in 4wd not an issue.
Nice looking 4wheeler, Joe. I may have to check them out when they arrive in stores. I have one of their wise by sides and I’ve had it probably 7 years and the only thing that I had to do to is air up the left rear tire after it was a couple years old lol. Great review as always. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!
I have an after market winch that has a handheld wired control. Not even sure of the brand but it allows me to operate the winch while standing in front of the machine which has come in surprisingly handy. But that remote controlled winch?? Awesome!
Looks surprisingly nice as their first attempt into the market! I’m intrigued to see how long term reviews, and regular use/abuse will affect its quality over time! The canam 500 is only $1500 more. I think you would be lucky to get 2500 miles out of the 7k investment before replacment looks like a good option. I’d bet you could run 5000 or more on an outlander 500.
Truth is, $1,500 is a lot of money for many folks. And spec’d similar would be quite a bit more with the winch, etc. And very few people will put 5000 miles on a machine. Time will tell on this atv, but I don’t see a reason that it wouldn’t be a reliable bike. We have a Honda and Kawasaki. Both been great; but prices now are out of hand. We shall see! Thanks for watching.
I bought this same bike for $1800, it was defective, had a cracked piston. There is no way to get a new one so i had a machine shop make one. Its finally all back together and running great. My only complaint is the smoke on startup.
This bike didn’t exist a few months ago. This is almost 500 cc’s and the drivetrain is similar to the TBoss 550. Body looks a lot like the 400 they have had for a while. But any bike for $1,800 is a great deal. Even with the issue. Great job on putting some work in for a great price. Wonder if the smoke at start up will eventually resolve. Thanks for watching!
I think thats a great question. The drivetrain is basically a T Boss 550 which has been around for years on the utv platform. No reason to thing there wont be parts if needed. But time will tell! Appreciate you watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer Tractor supply had to take it back. And then I bought a Suzuki King quad and I love it. Always go with the big four!! These Chinese brands may give you a warranty, but if you can't get parts and nobody honors what's the point! The Chinese stuff isn't always terrible but it doesn't belong anywhere in the price category of a Japanese ATV/UTV!!
Awesome! Thanks. I love TSC! My generator and my tiller both came from there and they are fantastic machines. I'm in the market for an ATV. My local store has the Massimo UTV but not the ATV yet. Thanks Joe. I'm a new sub, can't wait see more content on this.
I'm curious to know who actually builds them, and where you would get it serviced if/when the need arises. I remember when Bass Pro tried selling Montana tractors and it didn't work out very well.
This is built by Linhai. They build thousands of machines each year. And the advantage is that a small engine is so much easier to service/fix than a diesel tractor. But you are totally right. Service and warranty will be important. Time will tell!
@@JoeTheFarmer that’s solid! I’ve had little luck finding anything on the MSA450 that TSC sells. The location near me is now a registered ATV dealer. Claim they will have units for sale in the store soon.
Thats awesome! This atv is basically a TBoss 550 on an atv platform. So impressive so far! And the camo and looks are really sharp. Thanks for watching!!!
I don’t see the price as an issue when comparing it to our Honda and Kawasaki. It’s about 40% less cost wise. The machine is built by Linhai which is a name brand in Europe and overseas. Just not as popular here yet. But it’s hard to argue with the more expensive brands. They have earned their reputation and price. Buddy bought a CanAm Outfitter. $13k! 😳. Thanks for watching!
Massimo isn’t a bad machine. But it does need some refinement. I think that’s happening as it seems the quality of the units rolling off the assembly line in Texas get better each year. I see them now where I saw CF Moto a few years back. And they exploded to be the best initial quality machine out there right now. Far ahead of Polaris. Massimo is a couple of years behind. If I were on a strict budget, I’d buy one. It’s not the Chinese junk everyone thinks it is. Not anymore.
I think this is a very fair post. With one exception; the atv is VERY well refined. Not one loose screw, weld burr or paint scratch. I am so impressed with the way it looks, drives and feels. Longevity and reliability are another question. That will have to be earned over time. Thanks for a great thought out comment!
Base model? Has automatic transmission, camo, winch, racks, etc. Also no prep, dealer fees or destination charges. I get if you don’t like it, but gotta call it straight buddy.
I have a Honda and honestly the Massimo shifts better. We all know about Honda reliability so yes they are fantastic machines….but total price equivalent they are about 20% more. If money is not an issue then sure. Thanks for watching!
Totally different machine. The older MSA550 has a different build and drivetrain. This is basically a Tboss 550 with a newer body, options, etc. And this color combo is exclusive to TSC. My understanding is that the older MSA 550 is being phased out.
Looks like a watered down CF Moto. How much are they selling for? I have a 600 and 800 CF Moto, lots of bang for your buck with those machines. I also have a 1997 Polaris 500 Sportsmen that’s still running great. I look forward to future videos, thanks. Subscribed.
Hey! Welcome my friend. CF Moto is doing some amazing stuff. Price is $6,999. I have other bikes and so far its pretty great. Smooth transmission vs the Honda. My 21 y/o Kawasaki Prairie 650 will be hard to dethrone! Lol. Appreciate you watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer Awesome. I’m an older guy so I don’t “ride em like I stole em” that I hear so often and I take care of my machines, I believe that’s why they last so long. I watch some of these videos of guys tearing up these $20,000 machines the first week they get them, I don’t want the headaches or the cost of those repairs. Thanks again and I look forward to more of those ATV reviews.
@_DB.COOPER I hear ya. I mainly use mine for work and to give my legs a break! We didn’t grow up with much so tearing up a $20k quad isn’t in my dna. But more power to them! Will have more videos out on it soon. 👍🏼
How would you suggest I explain if it will be reliable or not? At the end I clearly said time will tell and let’s not put it on a pedestal. And your computer and phone were made in china. Was that on the add when you bought them? Not trying to be argumentative. You have great points, but one was addressed and the other is known. Linhai has been building machines for years. Machines are assembled in Texas. Appreciate your feedback and for watching.
@thegromblerdiecast What specs? Like, is it camo? winch? Automatic transmission? Does that include destination and dealer fees? And the Rancher is 420 cc’s, this is almost 500 but that’s not in the price discussion. We have a 21’ Honda ATV and not at all questioning the quality. It’s a great buy. It’s just not a fair price comparison imo.
The racks look terrible. No tie down spots. That oil filter spins out directly into the floor board plastic. The “storage” under the seat is useless and that cover is a bad design. The back rest is in the way I’m sure it would be taken off and never put back on. The diff lock is an impressive option. Sounds like it runs smooth. Fuel injected or carb? See how long it would last. When you test it pull a trailer with the max weight on it and see how it does.
There are tie down spots on the racks, but the plastic may just be removed for utility. There is a metal rack underneath. Back rest is gonna go, you are right there. Fuel injected, and does sound good. Time will tell. Once broken in, will pull some weight with it. We shall see!
I don't think it will last long with trail riding. It will either rattle itself apart or just break. 7 grand seems really high. Only time will tell. I think loctite will be your friend. I have owned chinese stuff in the past and it was not good.
Linhai is really popular overseas (UK, Etc). I don’t disagree there is some junk out there, but this looks to be a solid machine. I went around it to tighten it up but everything was immaculate. Very impressive assembly. But, time will tell. Our Honda and Kawasaki have both been great. Will have a comparison video up today.
You have to understand that prices vary; and this video wont. To put a price in there instantly dates the video and can cause confusion in the future. As of now, will launch at $6,999. Thanks for watching b.
We have a Honda rancher 420. Actually very similar machines but the 420 has less power. Honda has power steering and way better engine braking; but the Massimo shifts smoother and has a much more comfortable seat. I do think its funny that you declared the Rancher “better” without having both to test. Keep an open mind brother. Its a global world and competition is good.
Honda Foreman is close to $10k no with similar options. If money isn’t an issue absolutely buy whatever. But I think the question really is, does this machine have a place. I think it does. Very nice so far.
Okay so who's going to fix it when it breaks because it will break it's from tractor supply it's the cheapest of the cheap so it will break and then good luck finding somebody that will work on it
I will work on it. I have plenty of experience with wrenching and I will say that it looks to be a solidly built machine. Time will tell of course, but not a whole lot to it.
Absolutely garbage, anything made by Hisun\Coleman (all these Chinese UTV and 4 wheelers are made by them) is 100% garbage. Parts are nonexistent, support is nowhere to be found and they sell units that are 3-5 years old as current year. May God have mercy on your soul WHEN it breaks.
Purchased a Hisun 750 side x side from rural king in 2021. First mechanical issue was rear differential went out with 30hrs on the machine. Next was the engine at 80hrs and two months before warranty expiration date. They would not honor the warranty and fix the machine. I rebuilt the engine myself. I should have waited and invested in the good brands like Honda Yamaha Kawasaki suzuki and Can-Am.
Well Patrick, I have nothing to sell. And couldn’t care less what people buy. So my review is about as independent as it gets. The atv is still doing great and for the money it’s a phenomenal value.
@JoeTheFarmer proven reliability, huge parts and service support (even if you do your own servicing it's meaningless if there's no parts availability), large aftermarket support, and it's the same price as this machine. A CFMoto from the last 5 years till today are seriously contending with Polaris, CanAm, Yamaha, etc, and in many cases are actually more reliable, if not slightly behind in performance. Although I think it's awesome that your going to use this machine to make content and report back it's durability long term, I am interested.
Thats great feedback. CF Moto has been intriguing and would love to get some seat time on one. They are beautiful machines and I would absolutely look into them if shopping around. Thanks for watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer I just picked up a new 2024 cforce 500 in Austin for 6600 otd. I agree with the above comment for dealer support rational, although I didn't know this unit was available at the time of purchase. Good on TS for another affordable option brought to market. I was torn with purchasing a Chinese atv but as youve alluded to, cost was a prohibiting factor for my family. These units are definitely going to shake the game up, hopefully the other established manufacturers will get off their high horses and produce products that dont have gross costs. Cfmoto and this unit show you can make a decently tricked out bike and not charge an arm and a leg. Intriguing review, thanks for the heads up.
@zm12341 Congrats on the new atv! CF Moto has really shaken up the industry. I think it will serve you well. Time will tell with this machine, but I’ll keep it honest. And you are right, the big brands have gotten out of hand with pricing. And I don’t think its just inflation. When a new atv is 12-13k something is up. Nice to have competition. Wish there was an affordable, quality American made machine. But that option doesn’t exist. Is what it is. Thanks for watching!
What do you do when that piece of junk breaks down Tractor Supply doesn't repair the machines they sell where is the dealer network for this stuff. I worked in the powersports industry for over 25 yrs. and saw plenty of this garbage come in to us for repair with no way to get parts or support. Stay away from these off brand UTV'S and ATV'S you will be better off with a true dealer supported brand.
How do you know it’s a piece of junk? If you really worked in the powersports industry for 25 years, you would not be calling a Linhai machine an off brand. Tens of thousands are sold each year buddy and they are extremely popular in Europe, etc. Yamaha had a long relationship with them for years. Time will tell with this machine, but I haven’t had to take any of the TSC machines back to a dealer…or my Honda’s or Kawasaki’s. Maintenance is simple, I do it myself. 👍🏼
I have a polaris 450 that has had issues since it was brand new. The dealerships were of no help, and after years, a video popped up on RUclips detailing what the problems were. I have been on my own to fix it, so I don't see these tractor supply atvs any different.
Careful buddy, unless we drive Honda’s we don’t know what we’re doing! 🤣. I have had great luck with tsc machines. I service them with quality fluids and use high quality fuel. Always potential for issues with any machine. Appreciate you sharing brother. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
What dealership you buy from makes all the difference the one i worked at we did everything we could to get the manufactures to cover problems with the units they all have a good will program to use but most dealers don't even try.@@tray22
Are you claiming i didn't work in the industry. What I am talking about is where do you get warranty work done. Servicing the units is simple anyone can do it.@@JoeTheFarmer
People in rural communities that don’t have dealerships close. Or people that like the machine. Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart sell powersports equipment now too.

But any bike for $1,800 is a great deal. Even with the issue. Great job on putting some work in for a great price. Wonder if the smoke at start up will eventually resolve. Thanks for watching!
That is a nice looking 4 wheeler.how much will it be once they ready for sale?
$6,999!
@@JoeTheFarmer that's not bad.thats cheaper than the golf carts at tractor supply.
@richiebrown9623 not bad at all. A comparable Honda or Kawasaki is close to 10 grand. Golf carts have more seats but this thing will go anywhere. Lol
Is there parts available when you need to make repairs, that would be my concern and why I would go for a brand like Honda, Yamaha, etc.
I think thats a great question. The drivetrain is basically a T Boss 550 which has been around for years on the utv platform. No reason to thing there wont be parts if needed. But time will tell! Appreciate you watching!
How much are they selling these for?
Hey Steve, thanks for watching. They will be selling at $6,999
I’m hoping the tractor supply store in eastern Washington is going to carry them or someplace in western Montana
If not let me know and I’ll see what I can do! 😜💪🏼
@@JoeTheFarmer I called the store in Kalisbel and I can order online and they will ship to western Montana , thank you so much for your follow up .
@montana4939 Absolutely brother! Appreciate your support. 👊🏼
@@JoeTheFarmer you got it , keep up the good work
How much does it cost?
Will be $6,999. Thanks for watching!
Ask them what they offer for parts and service. Good luck
We’ll see!
I had the Massimo UTV it lasted about a week!!
And then what?
@@JoeTheFarmer Tractor supply had to take it back. And then I bought a Suzuki King quad and I love it. Always go with the big four!! These Chinese brands may give you a warranty, but if you can't get parts and nobody honors what's the point! The Chinese stuff isn't always terrible but it doesn't belong anywhere in the price category of a Japanese ATV/UTV!!
@wperkins225 i think its priced pretty well. Time will tell. But we have a Honda Rancher 420 that was about $9k and still has less options. We’ll see!
Any updates on this atv ?
Hey! I rode it 3 hrs ago. Been flawless. Love it man. So far been a great machine.
Do you have any info on pricing?
Should go to market at $6,999
Awesome! Thanks. I love TSC! My generator and my tiller both came from there and they are fantastic machines. I'm in the market for an ATV. My local store has the Massimo UTV but not the ATV yet. Thanks Joe. I'm a new sub, can't wait see more content on this.
Great video! You might have already said it, but is it an automatic? My wife doesn't like my Artic Cat with a gear shift.
Thank you! It is automatic transmission but not power steering. Its not an issue for me, but something to consider.
What bran is it, and will it come out to tractor supply in town mercedesburg. Thanks you for showing us this to I like it.
Hey, its a Massimo but the manufacturer is Linhai. Not sure on locations yet but will share as I hear more. Thanks for watching!
As far as the wireless winch I've always had to add that on for extra cost on all of my machines!
Appreciate that feedback
It’s made by Linhai. TSC has sold those online for a while.
Nope. This is a new model. Diff drivetrain and camo
I don't see anywhere with the price!
Wii launch at z$6.999.
Price?
Where are they made.
Is Massimo manufacturing these machines?
When are they available?
I'm going to subscribe; to find out more.
Hey! Parts in China, assembled in TX. Made by Linhai; Massimo puts finishing touches. Should be available in the next few weeks. And thanks!
Would be a good option if it was half the price but at $7k it’s a no brainer to get a name brand unit.
How much 😮
$6,999!
Are you going to give us the price
Should be $6,999!
Is it from 🇨🇳?
Part are from China; built/assembled in TX
$7,000 base model no thanks 🤮💩😩
Base model? Has automatic transmission, camo, winch, racks, etc. Also no prep, dealer fees or destination charges. I get if you don’t like it, but gotta call it straight buddy.
good luck getting that fixed no dealer support at tractor supply junk that no one will take on trade
Something happens I’ll just fix it. 🤷🏻♂️
If that's the same engine as the T boss should be loaded with power.
I believe they share the same powertrain which is awesome for parts, etc. so far so good!!!
For the price by honda or yamaha
I have a Honda and honestly the Massimo shifts better. We all know about Honda reliability so yes they are fantastic machines….but total price equivalent they are about 20% more. If money is not an issue then sure. Thanks for watching!
What is new about this? The Massimo MSA550 has been sold for years. Made by the Chinese company Linhai.
Why does most of your videos only work with my left earbud???
I was working with a new system but its fixed now. 💪🏼
PRICE???
Will sell for $6,999
Will it be reliable. and is this made in china thats the questions you never addressed.
Give me a cfmoto!!!
Those are great looking bikes for sure. Never been on one but would like to!!!
Get a honda rancher for that price
I think it may have been a while since you price shopped atv’s.
Just got a new rancher for 8.5k out the door. Similar price to this
@thegromblerdiecast What specs? Like, is it camo? winch? Automatic transmission? Does that include destination and dealer fees? And the Rancher is 420 cc’s, this is almost 500 but that’s not in the price discussion. We have a 21’ Honda ATV and not at all questioning the quality. It’s a great buy. It’s just not a fair price comparison imo.
What are the chances of this lasting 20 years like my 2004 honda rancher? Lol
Depends on maintenance and how its used. What are the chances of Honda’s new machines lasting like their older ones?
@@JoeTheFarmer good point
We shall see!
that is a linhai very comon in eu
Yessir!
@@JoeTheFarmer Yeah you can't beat the japanese stuff. Always top notch quality.
The new Kawasaki atv looks amazing. That may end up on our farm. 😁👍🏼
It sounds and looks like a Polaris, hmmmm, hope not. 😮
🤣
Probably better quality though.
No sound
No sound?
Always disappointing when someone brings out a tool and neglects sharing the price.
You have to understand that prices vary; and this video wont. To put a price in there instantly dates the video and can cause confusion in the future. As of now, will launch at $6,999. Thanks for watching b.
When you have trouble with it, and you will, it will take weeks if not months to get your machine back. No thanks
When I have trouble with it; I’ll let you all know. So far, been great.
I would have rather listened to the motor running while driving it instead of the terrible music. IJS.
Some cameras don’t have audio and editing that sounds terrible. Theres a reason my friend. Will definitely have more videos of just plain riding
Was it made in China?
Parts from Linhai in China, assembled in TX
My 2019 Honda rancher 420 is better. It can do circles around that thing.
Yard art lmfao 😂😂😂😂😂
I have a big yard, so time will tell.
Just go buy a Honda foreman 500 for same price plus a machine for life
Honda Foreman is close to $10k no with similar options.
Price
$6,999
Absolutely garbage, anything made by Hisun\Coleman (all these Chinese UTV and 4 wheelers are made by them) is 100% garbage. Parts are nonexistent, support is nowhere to be found and they sell units that are 3-5 years old as current year.
May God have mercy on your soul WHEN it breaks.
This is not a Hisun; it’s made by Linhai. Linhai has a pretty solid reputation but time will tell.
@JoeTheFarmer it's made in the same factory as Hisun, Coleman, Bull and Mishmoto, hard parts are almost 100% interchangeable.
@spartanpatriot3163 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@spartanpatriot3163 chinese crap.I have a 2023 Honda Rancher damn good ATV.
@jamesconerly1039 super happy for you.
Don't make the same mistake as me and waste your hard earned money on Chinese junk. These companies do not stand behind their products.
Hey Pete; what happened?
Purchased a Hisun 750 side x side from rural king in 2021. First mechanical issue was rear differential went out with 30hrs on the machine. Next was the engine at 80hrs and two months before warranty expiration date. They would not honor the warranty and fix the machine. I rebuilt the engine myself. I should have waited and invested in the good brands like Honda Yamaha Kawasaki suzuki and Can-Am.
@peterock8678 sorry for that experience man. Appreciate you sharing with the group. 👍🏼
Buy a used Honda , Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki before buying a china machine
I have a used Honda and Kawasaki. Both great machines...but both VERY expensive for what they are.
Looks cheaply made especially those so called racks. No thanks! I’ll stick with my Honda Foremans
Sounds good
You sound like a salesman-was hoping for an independent review.
Well Patrick, I have nothing to sell. And couldn’t care less what people buy. So my review is about as independent as it gets. The atv is still doing great and for the money it’s a phenomenal value.
Get a CFMoto instead.
Reasons?
Buy a Honda, you can thank me later. No Chinese junk
We have a Honda. Will have a comparison video out soon!
Looks like a lot of plastic on that thing better off buying used Yamaha Honda or Kawasaki or a Suzuki
I have a Honda and Kawasaki. So far its a pretty nice machine
More mossimo junk?
Ok, I’ll play. Tell us about your bad experience.
better off buying cfmoto
They are making some really nice machines.
Who tf buys atvs from tractor supply
People in rural communities that don’t have dealerships close. Or people that like the machine. Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart sell powersports equipment now too.
Who tf has a Mom who never taught them if they didn't have anything nice to say to just stfu?
i'll keep my Honda Rubicon thanks.
