    Holy shit this is good. I’d never understood the hype for makehuman because I hadn’t thought of using it for base meshes. Underrated, sir. +1 sub

    This is very helpful to get pretty much any stylized art style in Make human.

      @@hobbyhunt6347 I always want to achieve that Dead or Alive Soul Caliber 2 anime look using MakeHuman but didn't know what edits I have to make. So I guess it's important to have a reference on at all times to know what parts to pinch and smooth out to try and match what I'm trying to achieve

    Just started with MakeHuman today. Even if I'm not making Disney Inspired stuff, I think what you have here is really great advice. I was making the mistake of messing with MakeHuman for a main character and I think that you hit the nail on the head with your process. As a content creator myself, I also like to be critical of the layout of certain videos too. I would take a look at your first 35 seconds to see how the video retention is. I personally panned through it, because the intro showcase felt a bit too long. I'm still learning, so I'd like to know whether I'm right or wrong on this if you happen to look into it. I'll definitely be checking out your other videos though 😃

    • @hobbyhunt6347
      @hobbyhunt6347  Год назад +1

      If you check out my other videos you will notice a large amount of experimentation with each intro (particularly from my first videos to this one). In the end I strayed away from this style of intro however it was not a drastic change in retention which remains around 45%. For my early (longer videos) however my retention is abysmal dropping near 20% at the 30 second mark even though I was jumping straight into the content. I checked out your channel, great work considering you first started posting mid-December! I considered my channel to be fairly fast growing and your shorts blew my progress out of the water! Keep up the good work and I hope this helped! I would also be curious to hear the retention of your first longer video at the 30 second mark that you recently posted? You should check out Edge Loop 3D, he has amazing content and videos but seems to be oddly struggling with Subs.

      To add one last thing, I would recommend staying within (or at least near) the wheel house of blender you Subscribers subscribed for. I recently branched out and did more and an effect video instead of a character building video, and it was a complete and utter failure ☺

    • @TerraTFT
      @TerraTFT Год назад +1

      @@hobbyhunt6347 I'll definitely let you know how things go with my most recent video once I have a good sample of data to back it up. I appreciate you looking into my stuff and taking what I say in a good light. Constructive criticism helps a ton 💪
      I'm wondering how well retention will go, because my content is formatted for the attention span of a TikToker, as that's where most of my content is. I'm currently hovering about 1600 followers over there.

    thanks bro.. this was so helpful. but how you did the Similarity in blender?

    • @hobbyhunt6347
      @hobbyhunt6347  9 месяцев назад +1

      No problem! Glad it could help 😁 could you explain what you mean by "similarity in blender" so I can better answer your question??

    • @uaw_1
      @uaw_1 9 месяцев назад +1

      that thing like the mirror that keeps the both sides matching. so bad in explaining lol

    • @hobbyhunt6347
      @hobbyhunt6347  9 месяцев назад

      @@uaw_1 no problem, in this video, I believe I used "sculpt mode" for the mirroring you are referring to. While in sculpt mode, on the right side of the screen you should see 3 little boxes with x,y,z. By selecting the different boxes, it enables sculpt mirroring for that axis. I selected the x box in sculpt mode, thus mirroring the x axis on both sides of the sculpt.
      Hope this was helpful, my apologies if it was a little confusing.

    After finishing model as we wish can i rig the body with face it can be animated but doing weight paint?

    • @hobbyhunt6347
      @hobbyhunt6347  11 месяцев назад

      So as the "face it" software is not part of my usual work flow I cant say for sure. However yes, with most software I have used for weight painting and rigging (mixamo and accrurig) have been totally fine once the process is complete.

    • @hobbyhunt6347
      @hobbyhunt6347  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately the ones you mentioned on the ones I'm most familiar with. Mixamo does offer some characters that are free to download, however they are pre-built so you have to take them as is, and I am unsure of their commercial use policies. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
