Honestly, at the time I made this video I honestly didn't even know about it haha! 😅 And since then it's just been habit 😬. Thank you for the reminder of it's existence 🙏

Typically this can be as simple as just "re-baking" the cloth after applying the original cloth modifier. Then possibly also increasing the sewing power in the sim, but there are several different ways to approach better seams 😊. Although admittedly lately with recent blender updates I have been fairly satisfied with the seams after only one bake so I rarely feel the need for making adjustments 😅!

So sorry it's taken so long to respond! I hope I'm not too late! As long as you are in the "shading" tab in blender, and you can see the nodes section, you should be able to then just hit "shift" + "A" and then search for the image texture option in the box that pops up. If not possibly make sure the node wrangler add-on is active. Again sorry about the late response!!

So sorry for my late response! 🙏 So I guess it depends what you mean by realistic seams? If you mean stitching along the seams while simulating I'm sure that it's somehow possible however I have never looked into this myself unfortunately 😕. However if you mean just cleaning up the seams, then perhaps I can help or make a video on this in the future? Again I apologize for the late response!

Unfortunately I learned on my own for most of the techniques you see in my videos, the best tool I find is starting a basic tutorial video (any really) to give you the ground work, and then experimenting to find what works best for you. However I am always open to video suggestions if you have a course topic you think I should go into more depth on!? 😁 And thank you for commenting!

So sorry to respond so late! I believe that in 4.2 they changed the name of the setting (I'm sure it does something different as well 🫤). In object materials under >surfaces, find "Render Method" and you can either select "Blended" or "Dithered" and one of these options should give you the result you're looking for.

Hi there! Long time no see! If it were me, I always think it's worth updating to the latest versions so you can stay fresh on the latest versions. So I'd recommend seeing if you can figure out the crashing issue 😬. I know that's easier said than done, but you'll most likely have to update your blender at some point in the future anyways, so might as well figure out the issue now rather than later 😁 Best of luck.

Thank you for asking :) This mostly comes down to personal preference. When dealing with scale and clothing physics specifically (most likely having different experiences than you it sounds like) I have found larger characters to give better results, however others are more than welcome to use the methods they prefer, this is simply my preference 😁. I would guess this has to do mostly with the vertex mass in the physics simulation. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, much appreciated! 👍
