+pr3nzlb3rg3r You're right. I was using an electric spice grinder just a few minutes ago and gave it a sniff. It's not as potent as the smell an electric whisk gives off, probably because it's A) smaller and B) I only used it for a few seconds but it's definitely the same smell.

I made some marbled chocolate and peanut butter cookies with your 1-2-3 ratio method yesterday. Didn't even bother to find a recipe. THAT is fool proof!

tip for big high surface's to cover in chocolate... try doing really thin layers than one big. When they set up the next layers (if you're not happy) can be added as much as needed. Enjoy!
I saw your bar sorted food, and I raised it one. This is because I used cookie butter. The greatest thing ever that Trader Joe's happened to discover. It is wonderful, and the mousse recipe made it even better.

This has got to be one of the funniest fridge cams yet! Yes, please show us the Tom and Jerry cakes, it sounds interesting and something I have never heard of before/
(super geek fact), they actually all smell the same because the spark from the brushes in the motor causes oxygen (O2) in the atmosphere to break down and from ozone (O3), which is what the smell coming out of the vent is.
I think I've watched every video on the Sorted channel and channels you guys have been featured on. I can't find a single one on tamales so I think this raises the question: could you guys make tamales pleeeease?? Here in Texas, Mexican food is unavoidable and it's quite delicious! I would love to see what kinda twist Ben and the guys could put on good old fashioned tamales. Thank yoooou! :>

I totally agree with Mike about the whisk thing! Although when I did GCSE Catering, all the electric whisks smelt like burning plastic, so that's what whisks remind me of 😅.

I'd say that all mixers smell the same. I think whisks generally all smell like metal, which doesn't qualify. But the kind of whisk you held up first all smell the same. Also, Ben's laugh when you were smelling the regular whisk was amazing.
I've never seen anyone folding whipped egg whites into something so aggressively as when Ben says to do it "carefully"😂

I was kinda surprised you guys didn't use silicon cupcake cups to make the chocolate cups! Also I do feel like electronic mixers have a similar smell to them...
I'm guessing they're afraid the cups would be harder the remove since they're relatively thin. Silicone is not as pliable as some ppl think
+chocmilkshake24 I disagree. The silicon baking cups that I have are extremely thin and pliable and I would have no trouble getting the chocolate out if I were to do this.
It might also be more accessible for viewers to get regular cupcake cases, not silicone ones.
Maybe, not everyone can get silicone spoon molds but almost everyone can get some form of cupcake paper cases, they wanted to show two ways of making it. I, only have silicone puzzle pieces that I use for making ice. Where I live silicone molds are not that available, so it's nice to have options.

I tried tempering chocolate yesterday after watching your video and I had a little bit of trouble which I think I'd have when I would do this recipe - When the tempered chocolate gets to hard to pipe with, can you just heat it until its runny enough to continue or do you have to heat it back up to 46 to 26 to 32?? thank you!
I'm with Mike, I still have an ancient (40+ years old) Philips electric whisk, and even newer ones smell like that one.
I made it and place it in the freezer and than I eat it with mint and chocolate , taste good
