Those little hands wanted in on that drinking vessel so badly, too cute! Excited to see your Middle Ages unit resources, as Zac has been interested in this time period for going on 2 years now.... all day, every day.... oy.
And you know how those little baby hands turn into teen hands! So we must cherish it all the more now since I think we are both on our last...boohoo... Or Yipee... depending on how you see it :)
I avoided those You Wouldn't Want to Be books for a long time but we just read one in our Ancient Greece study and I've fallen in love with them. So not what I was expecting.
I'm so curious why you avoided them to begin with. Did you think they were just silly books? They're definitely not what I was expecting either, but I'm obviously so pleased with them ;)
yeah, I just thought they were silly and going to be under my kids' grade level, but they're really not. There is a ton of information in them and they've been relatable and challenging for all my kids.
That was me too! I didn't want anything cartoonish or twaddle and they turned out to be SO informative. Gave me reflection on the whole, "don't judge a book by its cover"
So inspiring! Thank you for showing us all of these goodies. I've already hopped on two of the web sites you mentioned (Rainbow Resource and Art in History) and plan to place an order. Those "You Wouldn't Want to be..." books are on top of my list! I think my girls would love those!
The You Wouldn't Want to be books are a fantastic addition to any homeschool library. I'm thinking they are also readily available at the library if you decide to wait on ordering them. Art in History is a great company offering projects that are hands-on, artistic and historical. I love it when that all comes together. Which project were you looking to get?
We are reading Story of the World and just finished the chapter about Mohenjo-Daro and the Indus Valley. There is an Indus Valley "Storage Vessel" that I think would be a fun project for my 10 and 7 year olds.
Thank you! It doesn't look like the cast does state lines, I think it's just a relief map, but we haven't used it to know for sure. I didn't check to see what other ones they had, but they're from Rainbow Resource and they have everything!!
I don't know, Hana...I have a friend that has been on some heavy duty pain medicine. Several times she's found herself getting email messages in the morning from hundreds of dollars of Amazon orders that she apparently placed the night before after she took her meds. She had no recollection of any of it. I had to laugh and think about her, since you can't remember so many of these. :-)
Pepper and Pine Oh, goodness! I love so many of them! It’s hard to choose just a few. My new reader loves their first readers, my bigger kids love their lift the flap and see inside books. My daughter really likes their picture books- Too Many Tomatoes and Paint Me a Picture are her current favorites. What’s Above and What’s Below are fun pop up books. Mysteries and Marvels of Nature is beautiful. Really... Too many to name them all!
Thank you Hana for all your wonderful videos ❤️ can you please give us some books that help mothers to understand rudolf steiner philosophy? Thank you again
Good question. I think this video is the closest I have to answer that question ruclips.net/video/H9lM1XaOT2Q/видео.html I also don't subscribe to the Steiner philosophy. I like the educational part which for me feels separate.
So much of this is on my rainbow resource wish list for next year and I am so happy I was able to get a better look at it all! Adding some items and taking some items off the list....this was helpful!! Thank you!

definitely boohoo most days, lol! Every once in a while it's a Yippee, but not often!!
Books make me so happy! 😂 Loved looking at all of these with you and love your channel so much. 💛
Thank you Becca! Books make me happy too :)

Great buys again. I agree with you on the You Wouldn't Want to Be series. I love em and would love to have them all-tfs
I'm aiming for the collection! But then I searched on them, and there are dozens and dozens, so I think not, haha!

Thank you so much for sharing!
You're welcome!!
The Aeneid for boys and girls is available for kindle for really cheap or free I believe.
Thanks for the PSA!!
Love your hauls! The cast of the U.S. is so cool! Where is it from? Also does it imprint state lines? Do you know if they have continents?
Thank you! It doesn't look like the cast does state lines, I think it's just a relief map, but we haven't used it to know for sure. I didn't check to see what other ones they had, but they're from Rainbow Resource and they have everything!!
THE KINGS DAUGHTER! I LOVE THAT BOOK! WOW! WHERE DID YOU GET IT!!!???? It was such a inspirational book in my teenage years!
Thank you for the insight on this book!
Going to be 30 this year!

Hahahahah!!! Yeah maybe ;)
You should look into Usborne Books! They are amazing!
Good reminder! I have a few Usborne books, but haven't added any new ones recently. Are there any you recommend?
