Thanks for the reviews bru! Gonna finally be spending couple months in Indonesia (august till November). So super stoked I found this channel.
Currently got a 5’11 og flyer and fishbeard
Was wondering what you think would be a great addition to my quiver: Either a 6’1 fever round tail
Or a 6’1 ci pro. Which one would you pick?

      Hi Jonas,
You kinda have me in two minds with that question.
Fever - i absolutely love it probably my favourite model as a travel board because I generally only take 2 boards so I like boards that have range in a bunch of different conditions. The Fever does just that. it is such an all round board. If you watch the video on my channel, named "A Week at the Peak" all the waves I ride there are on a 6.1 Fever, it wasn't a stock board though. it was one of Mikey February's boards a bit narrower than stock with a round tail.
CiPro - if the waves were absolutely going off . Top to bottom, barreling, no flat sections with the opportunity to really do big turns. I would ride the CiPro, in saying that we wish waves were that good all the time, but they aren't.
In summary, if you said you were going in June / July I would say go CiPro but because you say you are heading more in the Summer months I think Fever will be better.
P.s don't be scared to up volume either, if you're riding a 5.11 OG then you could even go 6.2 on either board. I rode a 5.10 OG ( also a video on that) so that's what I'm basing my sizing for you on. Everyone is different at the end of the day follow what feels best for you .
      Good luck and enjoy:)

@@explorersguild Hi Nicholas, thanks so much for responding bruu! Really appreciate the feedback,
Seems like I will go for the Ci fever, order it custom at onboard store! Absolutely love that board even when its small, did you like it as a round tail instead of a squash?
Thanks heaps for the detailed reply, hopefully you get some sick waves on your next trip!
      Cheers

@@jonasakyildiz6494 no worries. I have ridden all my fevers as round tails.
If you want the board to work pretty good in most conditions, including bigger days, go round tail.
The squash will probably be more playful on small, medium days but if it starts pitching a bit and getting real which is normal in Indo you'll want that round tail.
We are all different but I would think most of us go to Indo for those special bigger days so it is good to have a tool to help you when that hopefully happens.

Good review, won't get to surf it enough so won't get it. Really helpful.

Do the fever and ci pro feel similar? I surf wave 2 to 8ft beach beach hollow and mushy and reef breaks would the ci pro be good for that?
