I'm sad the good girl died in the end. Her life was stolen from her and she never got it back.
There never really was a "good" Adelaide. The fact that the "good" Adelaide sought revenge makes her a person of low character. Moreover, Jordan Peele even talks about how this movie blurs the areas of "good" and "bad." it's not always clear cut.

I like this movie as a metaphor of class division in the society. Poor people and minorities are excluded and treated like shadows but all they need is just a chance for a normal life.
There are several RUclips videos that reveal the Easter eggs, hidden in this movie: many are hidden, hidden in plain sight, and things you never would’ve thought of. They are all meaningful to the story!
Such an underrated movie
Can't wait for your Get Out and Nope reactions. Loved the chase scene with the daughter driving, fighting off the evil twins, and how smart the little boy was to back up his double. Winston Duke is great. I want him in everything. Lupita acted her ass off. So hard to play two roles. Respect.

These actors definitely put their full effort into this movie
They use Scissors as a weapon bc scissors are exact parallels of one another when you look at them. Take the scissors apart and each piece is the same but opposite sides. Put the scissors together and the tops are opposite but the bottoms are joined together.
Indeed, the scissors are symbolic. In fact everything in this film including the song I got 5 on it is symbolic.

I'm not sure if you guys have reacted to 'Get Out' but it's Jordan Peele's directional debut, US came out after Get Out so maybe you guys could check that out if you haven't already 😁

It’s about the tethers being given a voice, something that Addy gave them, figuratively and literally. She spoke for the tethers, even with her hoarse voice, and set the majority of them free globally…until her final breathe…Addy set us-the tethers-free.
This is my favorite thriller movie, I literally have chills watching it every time. The twist is so good!
So you guys picked up on most of the questions you asked during the reaction, like the kid knowing she was not the same because of the grunting sounds she kept making and the hands across America like the commercial and shirt she had on. Here’s some other things:
-the US government created the doppelgängers of every person in the US in order to control the population to do what they wanted above ground, but the doppelgängers were left down there after the government didn’t want to continue with it. The doppelgängers who were supposed to be the puppeteers to control those above became the puppets.
-the reason they decided to go up and kill everyone was so they would no longer be controlled to do the actions of the people above.
The reason for the outfit was because her father won a Michael Jackson t shirt for her in the beginning and he’s wearing the 1 glove and red leather jacket and pants. The scissors were just a symbol of them because of the tethering connection that they wanted to cut
There is also a theory that the son is also from underground and the mom went to switch him when he had an accident playing with fire that caused him to be that way. People said that because we don’t know if the son with the burn could talk or not because his mouth was melted shut, also the mom was trying to teach him to snap and keep rhythm with the song in the car, I’m not sure about this theory but I think it’s still pretty interesting

If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend the Scream 6 Final Trailer as your final trailer before the movie gets released to streaming (if you want to watch the final trailer of course). I love your reactions and you definetly make watching/reacting to movies much more enjoyable for me and for thousands of other people.

In the closet. And he could’ve spoke because his mother underground could of speak so she taught him. That’s why when her real son walked into the fire she got emotional. And why the tethered mother told them to go play

When the mother was a little girl she switched spots with the real girl so when they switched the girl couldn’t talk. She had to learn but when they got older the girl went back there and her original body was trying to get her old life back I assume the reason her family and friends come bc they were the people she grew bonds with not the real versions so she tried to take them with her and bring everybody life back I’m not sure who won at the end but I think the daughter got switched if I’m not mistaken idk tho that’s just my theory lol
ALLEGORY , class divide, system of haves and have nots in society, this film is so thought provoking and I will be watching again .

the first and only time i watched this movie was in theatres when it came out in 2019 and when i finally pieced together what had happened, my mind exploded! definitely one of my top thrillers, and i loved your guys' reaction to it

It just makes it so much more creepy that I remember going to underground tunnels full of food, stores, and other stuff under my city when I was in high school. Basically like underground malls with food courts and stuff. So seeing the escalator down to the open tunnels in the movie was beyond creepy yet nostalgic...

This movie was weird, but I did like it
Just to make sure you understand completely… The beginning of the movie started out with the underground railroads. Basically, they are saying that the government created these clone type people to eventually take over and control the original people. Instead, they abandoned the project… leaving the clone versions down below, having to do everything that the people above chose to do. And they suffered horribly and were treated like crap. Like she explained when they revealed themselves.

Get out won the oscar for best director,best picture,best original screen play and best actor. It is a very well done film like this one and is scary but in a different way.
