Exercise is the celebration of the body not the punishment for what you eat tmrw
A bigger purpose which you are looking forward to and health , weightloss is just a piller connect to your driving force that is why you want the health the weightloss
    The BIGGER GOAL !
Food has energy when you eat non veg its coming from a place of suffering

You have loaded the arrow ready to release and go for the day
To not get tempted by momentarily choice you have to have objective (purpose) which you are obsessed with
And have intention is this serving the purpose. If No , then sorry
Dont try to force anything , get that feeling of i wannna do it more ( make it enjoyable , for it to be sustainable )

Didn’t ever think I could watch even the first part, when I saw the video lasted more than an hour, but I saw both part 1 and part 2 without ever feeling bored. Subah and Harsh are two gentle souls and you can immediately sense their positive vibes and compassion towards mother nature and animals. Am following their channel too but am still a bit skeptical about arsenic in most grains and especially whole rice, like red rice, brown rice etc. Satvik diet is obviously the most healthiest but we cannot avoid chemicals which are added to vegetables, fruits, grains etc. Also ghee was not discussed. Ghee is extremely healthy, like cold pressed coconut oil. Also intermittent fasting.. all points to see as sativik point of view.

The purpose of the human life's ultimate goal is to enlighten, not to enjoy the materialistic world. Going to temple and follow any religious practice will not enough to achieve your goal or enlightenment because none of the religion will not teach the right thing to enlightenment (you may learn the discipline etc.). Going to the holy places is just a first step, and you have to find your path to enlightenment.

I have followed Satvic for a year and adopted some of their good points and moved over to Ayurveda and Yoga as that gave more flexibility and stronger thought through science. Hi Dr Pal, Thank you for this wonderful podcast, I couldn't resist myself commenting after watching these videos.
Actually, when I randomly saw the thumbnail I was literally overwhelmed with joy because I was waiting for something like this, I came across satvic movement videos randomly and I got hooked to the videos but due to some personal time concerns, I couldn't follow those practices religiously. Same way I came across your video randomly and was very much interested in the topic related to the gut because I have also realized the importance of the gut and started practising the sunrise-to-sunset routine, shifting to vegetarian, with very little sugar intake. But I really wished that someone from the medicinal field should try to understand the concept of statvic movement so people feel more confident and start incorporating both practices based on today's busy life schedule.
in today's world, nobody is trying to heal our own body but we are ready to spend a lot on processed food and more than that on medicines. if a person like Shuba or Harsh says something then there arises a lot of doubts on its veracity because they didn't add any "Dr " in front of their name. I also tried to follow the satvic movement practices but my entire family started questing me as I stopped non-veg, milk, dairy consumption etc and everyone was like you are doing rubbish things you will not have any energy, will be weak, there will be no protein etc and being a mallu (kerlaite) from a family non-veg is part of daily routine, it was really a hard thing to take the first step of being a vegetarian. Now I am really happy that some initiative like this will really help people to understand the value of true healing. Thank you so much...

Satvik movement also does not tell you to avoid animal sources - We consume milk, yoghurt and ghee. @@bharamas1I share the same views as yours and totally agree with what you say regarding co-existence. Even I am a lacto- vegetarian for religious reasons. That doesn't mean that being a vegetarian is the 'healthiest' or that eating meat is 'unhealthy'. I have no problem with people encouraging vegetarianism out of love for animals or out of religious reasons. What I am against is saying that it is the 'healthiest' and that consumption of meat is 'unhealthy'. Only thing which I couldn’t understand is, if refined processed foods are bad, then why on earth it’s even produced? Why Govt, Dr. Associate, food inspectors, consumers audits review stopped this long ago? If tobacco, plastic, alcohol and meat are bad then why are they even produced on earth. Why No one taken action against these industries so long, looks like 100-200years would have been spoiled the common people..

That’s called the big pharma industry. It’s worse than mafia. They want more sick people to sell more medicines. Often longevity should not be taken into consideration but quality of life yes. Here in west, I have seen very old people, living of medicines, living a miserable life, unhappy and often depressed. Reason why they rightfully winded up the videos by saying what matters is not just lose weight or even live to 100, but have a goal which gives you happiness. Where you don’t have to necessarily eat by seeing another being suffer. Compassion, altruism, spirituality and happiness. We cannot control the big industry and pharma mafia, but if more people get right knowledge about healing by eating the right food, these big guys will eventually give up.

I don’t even think you can have onions and garlic on that diet.
No coffee, etc. which are natural products by the way as long as you don’t overdo them.
    I don’t recommend.
It’s important to have a variety of foods. Mostly fruits and vegetables and zucchini.

Im sure that guy’s healthy coz of his diet, and he’ll live happily … until a mosquito bites him or a gust of wind blows him into traffic… no need the wind actually, pretty sure a mosquito can push him.

Dr. Pal, You are very important person. You can be brand ambassador of healthy life working in US from India. Purpose is conditioning of what you are doing or have done. And purpose becomes alive when you get appreciation of the work you are doing, you are good at it and are able to grow meaning in are able to solve the problems and overcome. So slow living is kind of best life. Impractical in today's life. May be just go about what you are doing do not think much sedate overdose yourself and enjoy adrenaline rush of sports and die.

Plant based is not equal to vegan necessarily. plant based doesn’t have any regulations so even “plant based” labeled foods can contain dairy, eggs, honey, meat. It doesn’t have to be vegan or vegetarian.

I’m so so glad I heard this whole podcast! I have been following Satvik movement also for a long time like I follow drPal.and losing weight too . I specially can relate to the part where dr pal brought up the fact that it has to be more than just weight loss. And Subha explains it so clearly with the car analogy.. I seriously can relate with this because I don’t know where to take my car… 😂 my destination!! I need to work on that. Also thanks a lot to all 3 of u for giving the suggestions on how to go about it.

But, this podcast gave the answer to follow the foods offered by mother nature. This is really an eye opener for people like me to get the facts about healthier and spiritual side of life. The best explanation for following a vegetarian diet is the following. Plants utilise the carbondioxise and animal utilize oxygen for energy. One is others waste product. This is the ecosystem. Now how do we balance the plants there is where the carnivorous animals coming. They control the plant eating animals. This is also a eco system. Humans has no role in this.
unless in some rarest survival situation to sustain the life we may have to depend on the animal food. But the current non vegetarian eating doesn't belong to the above two cases. I always feel this way of thinking is the strongest motivation to be a vegetarian. The more you be part of the ecosystem more satwik we are.

I must say one of the best discussion over health, healthy food and lifestyle. It had many best moments where Subah & Harsh both explained concepts with such a great analogy and philosophical way that fits perfectly. One of that is morning routine where Harsh explained and rsonated the morning routine with bow stretching and energy released from it. It shows how deeply their lifestyle has been affected by the healthy routine and lifestyle they have adopted to. Thaks for bringing this video.

I wish to learn/know more and more. I would like to mention here that i started using cold pressed oils 12 years ago. after 1-2 years i noticed that burning sensation in my feet and a different kind of body pains rather lethargy is gone. So continued from there....till now. You guys are really doing good job to spread the world about ancient form of food.

Plants have feelings also - which leaves fruits and fruit of the vine that would possibly not suffer. There is the aspect of blessing our food thanking the plants and animals for their sacrifice. As alchemists we can turn our food to light also. Just a few more perspectives.
