Yes! Also, he is the god of the underworld and I'm pretty sure she says in Sleeping Beauty that she can unleash the powers of hell, so they're definitely a couple

From their point of view depending on how the stories are told a lot of these "villians" were not bad and definetly not deserving to be thrown on a crowded isle with their kids for all eternity. Unless you want to throw Audrey on the isle with them you have to break down the barrier and give 2nd chances you can't have a double standard
Yeah but in the movies we see that the adult villains just don't care anymore, in the first movie just Maleficent escapes like a lot of other villains could have escaped as well, in the second movie we see that Uma is far more interested in getting revenge than her mother and 20+ years is more than enough punishment for most of those villains, who are parents now and everything, they do need a new penal system though
I mean yeah??? Disney has some legitimately terrible people for villains? Like Murderers, kidnappers, and just evil people? Like Chernabog is just loose now? Literal Satan is just free to roam Auradon? Maybe some of the villains don’t care anymore, but like... the majority of these people (and animals) were able to hold grudges for YEARS. I don’t think they care too much about being given a second chance. Like, the Horned King? The Queen of Hearts? Good luck reasoning with them.
When they said about Hannah I was like 'who?' But then I realised... I think Hannah is meant to be Happy's daughter which probably means the whole marching band is just the children of the Dwarfs 😂
Amazing Spiderman Fan 2002 I always assumed Doug was adopted, everyone always assumes that every kid here is the biological children of the characters.
Yeah, but then they implied Harry and Audrey right after that. Edit: thanks for all the likes. I usually don't get many, the most I've ever gotten was like 100, so thanks!
Lol, I was vastly disappointed when Uma just dodged him. In both Descendants 2 and 3, they shared so many sweet moments (and don't get me started with that hug when Mal defeats Audrey). Then, by the end, they just... sink the ship??? 😭😭
I thought the movie was really good but I felt like they could’ve extended the movie a bit more. 1. The new VK’S? Overall the movie was a good way to finish off the series I just felt like the movie should’ve been longer since this was the last movie in the series.
also explain whats going on with lovely maleficent the lizard is she still a lizard or did she turn back and if she turned back where is she now like, hello??
My favorite part was when Hades came to save Audrey and he flipped the entire movie upside down by making it a commentary on the ill treatment of people who are different by the police/government.
Her page on the Descendants Wiki says she's 19 in Descendants 3, not 16. When she said "for 16 years, I had nothing and then, I was given a whole world" to Hades, she was referring to the events of the first film. In the US, you become a legal adult at 18 and that's the minimum age requirements
Honestly they really didn’t need that line. If it was Lonnie then I would remember. But like I did not remember that line at all it was just an extra to me
But yeah also it was a bit unrealistic that they are just letting the main bad guys free Liek maleficent and cruelly I feel like everyone who didn’t commit a crime should be free. But jafar and all those others could stay on a prision or something.
Jassy Jones I mean yeah but you could see in the first movie that doesn’t mean a lot of their ways have changed several of them still seem to have negative intentions, some people are definitely reformed but some of them are still very much villains
I feel like villians such as lady Tremaine or mother gothel or even cruella de ville weren't that bad. Lady Tremaine and Mother Gothel both were terrible to their "daughters" but for the most part it wasn't that bad, like give lady Tremaine a few years in prison for child abuse and get on with it. With mother Gothel she might need some therapy, and she needs to learn you can't stay young forever, but other than that, she wasn't too bad. Now with cruella de ville, the word cruel is in her name, and she is pretty cruel towards animals, but for the most part, she just wanted "high fashion😂" and while I'm not saying it's RIGHT to do that to dogs, she could've done much worse. Just stick her in a mental hospital for a while, so she can learn to control her animal abuse issues.
@@moonkitten0557 So is maleficent (sorta), so is gaston, they had kids. I haven't read the book, but I'm pretty sure it explains it, they probably brought them back to life just to torture them.
In the books, it says that the characters (except for Carlo and Jane) graduate, so it’s been somewhere from a year and a half to two years since they first came to Auradon The book also said that Lonnie was drafted playing professional swords and shields, so that was the excuse for her not being there.
I really like the movie but I wanted to see lizard malificent and the parents coming to auradon with than look they had in the end of the first movie. Also question is malificent going to be at the wedding???
Nah there’s just not gonna invite her like she wasn’t invited to the christening and then she’s gonna take over the world. But I mean I don’t see why they can’t have a lizard ring bearer?
I found it weird that Audrey got no punishment, even though there was no indication she was under a spell. Hades even brings up how they threw all the villains on the Isle, but Audrey gets a slap on the wrist. Edit: Thanks for the likes ❤️❤️ Also, anger doesn't necessarily translate into a bloodthirsty rampage (hyperbole) Audrey is the one that chose to get revenge.
Sebastian Daniels Nah, Audrey was evil before she grabbed it. But I was mad that they didn’t follow the lore. In one of the books they said only someone who is related to Maleficent could hold the wand, or sleep forever.
I think that Audrey facing no repercussions is what I have such a big problem with. Like, Hades even acknowledges it-“When you guys try to destroy the world, it’s an error in judgement. But when it’s one of us, you lock them up and throw away the key.”
I also wish that Ben saved Mal in this movie instead of Mal always saving Ben. I feel like Ben could have really should his true love and compassion for Mal more if maybe he saved her. And I feel like it would have been more interesting to change the dynamic of their relationship that I think people would never expected. Also wish Ben got his beast moment.
Ben is a dumbass boyfriend and I love him for it. Every time he opened his mouth in Descendants 2, I just said "you dumb baby" - and that's just how I like him. Useless, pretty, and too kind-hearted for his own good. Absolutely phenomenal.
Things I didn't like: Hades was under used, I agree with the barrier stuff, so sad that Lonnie wasn't in she was one of the best parts of D2, the stakes were not that high. Things I loved: The music... Night Falls!! ... The costumes, Evie being perfect as always, de character dynamics (Mal vs Uma, Gil and Jay) That final tribute for Cameron Boyce, he will be missed. This movies will always be in my heart. Just like you Cait Descendants got me back into Disney Chamnel, a chapter of my life is closed now and I could not be more satisfied. D2 still the best one imo.
Defintely agree with D2 still being the best one. I still think that it had the highest stakes out of all 3 movies, and it did an excellent job of fooling you about how the movie's going to end. You think it would end with Mal saving Ben with true love's kiss, but then an unexpected epic Mal vs Uma battle ensues. D3 lacked that element of surprise that D2 had.
If you think of the Isle as a prison, you're objection to bringing down the barrier is absolutely right. But at some point I stopped seeing it that way. I think it was that moment in D2, when they go back to the Isle and the two little kids try to snatch Evie's purse. Evie, with her big heart, looks at their desperation and says "take it." After that, I started to see the Isle not as a prison, but as a ghetto, a place where the more-fortunate wall off the less out of prejudice (literal meaning: to pre-judge) or fear (sometimes rational, but also irrational). That's what gives Hades' bitter observation about different standards its power. You can say it's inconsistent to change the metaphor that way, and you'd have a point, but that's how I experienced it. That's why I loved the ending; it's the triumph of Evie's (and Ben's) idealism over fear. I loved the movie, not as much as D2, but I really enjoyed it. The Mal/Hades scenes didn't seem weird to me. They had great, believable father-daughter chemistry: love, resentment, longing, pain, everything. And the way that Mal's gang and Uma's pirates eventually came together was beautifully done. What's great about the whole series is that you always want more of these characters and relationships. That's why I'm so sorry it's over.
Exactly the isle was a lazy and lame solution from the part of Belle And Beast to just shove away all the "bad" and think they will be safer even reviving dead villains for the sake of punishing them they need a real penal system
DanielOrme totally agree with you. I didn't the isle as a prison more of a way for the royal to shovel all the bad k to one place and then be able to live in their perfect bad-free home. It never felt like a prison, maybe for some of the older villains, except when we see how bad their living conditions are. It's like they just dropped them off on an island, put up a barrier to stop them from living, and kinda left them their to die off. Did they think about them as people?? What about smitty, he wasn't really a villain he was a pirate that fallowed his captains lead, that's what pirates do. Never hurt any one. I have a feeling that smitty wasn't the only non-villian or non'fully evil person that is on the island.
I definitely shipped them but it seemed like Disney (not to say that they as a company don’t include the LGBTQ+) was trying to show them as not a couple. I only say this because it felt like at the end when they were like “chest bump”, Disney was trying to emphasize their masculinity.
They were dancing together at the end of the movie when everyone else was dancing with their significant other so I feel like that’s as blatant as Disney is gonna get when it comes to showing an openly gay character in one of their dcoms
Based off my calculations, Mal said Hades, her father, abandoned her when she was a baby, probably around one or two, give or take. She then again says “you left me for 16 years” or something along those lines. So Mal got engaged at 17 or 18.
@@isabelleblanchard2597 yeah it is young. In the second film she was still attending classes, unless the school has college as well. So she is probably around 19 in the last film.
SO here's a cute D3 Fun Fact: The final shot of the movie was actually a last minute scene, not in the original script. Apparently the 4 main actors of the film realized there was no "Rotten to the Core" line throughout the entire movie! They loved the line so much that they called the writers and begged for one more scene where they could say it and have a final send off to the franchise. The actors running down a tunnel was the very last scene filmed and the most emotional scene for them.
I am a HUGE fan of descendants but I think that they rushed everything in d3 and all of the plot lines were forced upon the audience. Idk it just isn’t the same as d1 or d2
Descendants 3 is my favorite descendants movie in my OPINION it had the best story in any of the decenstands movie I rank the movies 1.Desencents 3 2.Descensentas 2 3.Decensentats
The Jane and Carlos moment and just all the good moments You mentioned made them come back to my memory and now I’m crying ah I love this franchise so much subscribed.
I saw a thing with Kenny Ortega saying "You didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?" as he sweeps the ground after the party or whatever. I don't know if this means Descendants 4 is happening or if they won't do that due to Cameron's passing.
they can make another movie and he sorta be in but not physically... what i mean is digitally putting his face on a stunt double or someone close to his type... it has happen many times before but i doubt the actors would be ok with doing it
i'm pretty sure dove cameron posted on her instagram that this was the last movie, though i have seen stuff on the wiki about other sequels - which may or may not be fan creations, or just ideas for sequels that got released. personally, i think this was the last movie. it felt like an ending.
I think they could make another movie but they could say “oh Carlos is studying abroad to be a Vet” cause he said at the end of the movie “wait till she hears I wanna be a vet” to Jane about his mom
That was supposed to be at the end of Descendants 2 when Uma said it and Dizzy also said it but they stuck with Uma I’m pretty sure it was that anyway.
So like, I personally liked the barrier being taken down at the end because of what it symbolized and how it relates to like the real world and stuff, but I also agree with Caitlyn in regards to them just releasing criminals, like... yeah... not the best idea
Thank you it was kinda weird especially when she kissed him in the cheek at the end but I thinks it’s just because he’s new so we didn’t get used to him being her dad
I actually enjoyed Hades and Mal's scenes together. I didn't felt uncomfortable, I do the same things with my dad, and I saw other fathers and daughters in such poses. Being close physically can also show love (between two people who love each other, obviously). Their being close was awkward because they missed the love, and that made that made their duett so awesome.
I think overall the movie was kind of rushed. Like even Mal not putting uma and the pirates back as soon she found them. I mean they tried to kill her and now your just friends with them after a song? Also Audrey tried to harm all of Auredon and now you just let her free?
I liked to think that if the criminals acted up again, Mal and Ben would create a magical prison for them. But they are giving them a shot at normal life, which is pretty cool. But no doubt in my mind there will be a prison one day😂
They are good people so no they won't be in prison. Just look at hades, the father of Celia, the father of Jay, the evil queen or cruella de vil aren't bad.
I’ve always loved descendants! I loved the ending and I think it made sense, because it shows villains can come from anywhere, so no point separating yourself from a certain ‘type’ of people.
I totally agree with you about that one really emotional part with Evie telling Mal about how she lied to everyone. It was such a really well done scene, and Sofia's acting is so good :)
SPOILER: ok but I totally agree with her view on the barrier like the only thought that kept going through my mind was why don't they just make it's better inside the isle bc they all complained about the poor conditions and then they could start integrating everyone properly
Yeah but how many villains actually care about getting revenge anymore like they've been more than 20 years in that place until Maleficent in the first movie and Hades in the third movie no other adult villain has shown any interest on scaping the isle
I watched the movie and I was like “ I can’t wait to hear what Caitlyn says about this” I really liked the movie too. It wasn’t the best but it was a fun movie and had the second best soundtrack next to the first.
I didn’t love the third film I felt they didn’t need to add that many new characters. It left little time for the character we love and care to shine. Also the music didn’t feel as good as the first and second one. And the ending of the previous two was visually cool. This one the ending is lovely but it felt flat visually.
Matthew Mattocks true the only songs i liked were Ways To Be Wicked, Chillin Like a Villian(which was my fav), and Its Goin Down plus You and Me was OK it wasnt horrible
My take on Hannah is that they made it obvious that they know her, the audience didn't need to. So of course they'd be worried about someone they know.
@@abigailwilliams8889 Well thank you for letting me know but unfortunately I have not seen the movie. I have only been able to see little bits of the movie here and there. So, when I heard Hannah, I was trying to figure out who she was and from who she was from. But thanks.
I'm here four year after the movie came out but I just did a descendants rewatch and realized that they could have SO EASILY fixed the fact that villains could possibly escape by just building a double door system.
My favorite part of the Movie was Mal's engagment which I feel was the best part of the movie but I'm super mad that we didn't get to see the royal wedding scene
Idk if this is the right place to rant, but I loved D3, it felt like a great ending to the franchise but I still have many questions left unaswered: 1. What happened to Maleficent???!!!! Like nobody said anything about her. At all. 2. Harry and Audrey are a thing now?? 3.Where is Lonnie people??? 4. (said in the video) What happens to the villans??? Like, are there any consequences to destroying the barrier and everyone being free?? I get that 20+ years are a big punishment (at least for some) but some are still evil. Are there some tests or trials? I wanna know. 5. Not a question and kinda said in the video; Really wanted a royal wedding and more Bal moments (btw never realized they didn't have a duet now I'm sad) 6. Again, we had so many characters that we could not focus on all the relationships and subplots.
I honestly freaking loved it, intentionally didn't watch any promo stuff and trailers and the plot twist of Hades being Mal's dad was reeeaaaally great
Tbh I was expecting way more. Mal for me was the worst character during the whole film (along with Chad) Also, I really wanted Audrey to cast a love spell on Ben so they could be together again but now as an evil dynamic duo Way more screen time for him cause he would’ve been the sidekick instead of the annoying Chad that didn’t do anything the entire film, srly what was his purpose?
I would of loved it if she cashed the love spell and Ben just sorta became a character that she walked all over and treated like garbage but he was okay with it. Then mal would see it and be horrified about how power hungry she was and the fact she would use the love spell on him so that he would be completely okay with the abuse and then Audrey would just be like “Mal since when did you think using love spells to get your way was a bad idea?”.
I was asking the same thing when they mentioned Hannah. I wondered if I'd just forgotten one of the side characters, and brushed it off as them maybe being in one or two scenes in the last movies. I'm so glad to hear that you didn't recognise the name either. On the bright side, we could all start telling people we played Hannah in the Descendants franchise and nobody would know the truth
Olivia jarrell I didn't know that cuz I didn't really care enough about him😂 (I know that sounds rude but idk how else to say it) but thank u for letting me know
The only aspect of the movie which I didn’t like was the writing especially the third act. What Mal did was pretty horrible and the resolution of her actions was extremely rushed. Not to mention that Evie’s presence the entire time kept reminding you that she is more in the stead of a true queen showing monarchies do not pick the best rulers!
sorry i’m late. i feel like hades and uma were built up to be these bad villains but once mal just asked them for help, they gave it to her. i wish in the trailers they hadn’t focused so much on hades because it really disappointed me to see him as such a small character. also they need to make the museum with all the princess and villain stuff more secure! the VKs get in in movie 1 and audrey just walks in movie 3. although i did love the movie.
The finale wasn't the best, it felt rushed, but the movie was amazing and i really enjoyed it. The bes was Ben with the beard, he looked Ridiculously hot
Personally I didnt care for audrey being the villain. I was never worried that she would be stopped. And I felt like all of her moments as a villain was cheesy and felt awkward. This movie felt rushed and a mess personally. It seemed like a lot of stories and characters were throwaways because of how fast paced it was
gil getting excited over the tiniest things on auradon was so adorable! ☺️he’s always been cute to me in like the soft way. and jay noticing how infatuated he was with the grapes and such ahhh🤗🌸
Really upset Ben wasn't a Beast for more of it. I feel like they've been hyping it up for the past 2 movies and he literally did nothing with it! 😭😭 Also where was the crown tilt??? When mal "fixes" Ben's crown by tilting it!! They did it in the other 2!!!
We didn’t need Celia and the smees And hades and Audrey There too many new things. I rather would have seen the wedding of Mel and Ben with that time. But I’d do enjoy the choreography of the first song. Also I love mala hair on the second one but in this one it felt too blue. It was too similar to evie.
I think Hades was important, he was a part of Mal's character growth. Him being in the movie also created the foundation for her to get the ember which is the only thing more powerful than the sceptor and stop evil from reigning on auradon
What if Aurodon was a real place in our world? Soldier: Sir. Maleficent is attacking the kingdom of Aurodon. Again. Should we intervene? Me: Absolutely. Get all our battleships ready. We're going on a witch hunt.
The movie was good but not as good as the first two movies.I feel like it was kind of choppy. And To me,Audrey turning evil wasn’t really much of a shock because not only was Disney channel spoiling it,But I feel like she always had so much resentment towards the VKs. I loved Hades.I thought he was so cool and the one line where he says “when it’s one of your own,it’s just poor judgement, but when it’s one of us,lock them up” is perfect. The music was great.”Queen of Mean” is my favorite. Everyone in the movie was fantastic. I love the tribute Disney did to Cameron at the end.It was so beautiful that I cried for an hour after the movie was over and I like how Disney addresses grief and how everyone deals with it differently because that is important to talk about in times like this.
I have only one problem with the movie: the twins! when I saw them for the first time I loved them, I would have liked to see a little more of them, I imagined them doing some mischief or helping w something, but they don't even have lines! I really wanted to know a little more about their characters :(
Are we also just gonna ignore that Dr. falicier(?) really had a WHOLE set for a 30 sec screen time with no singing? I also wanted to see Evie slap Mal for lying 🤣🤣🤣
I loved Hardes. I think the reason Mal wanted to close the barrier is that she thought that her father and the others were TOO dangerous. (She never really passed time with him). But then after finding out he actually cares. He is asking Celia about her all the time. He helps her (after arguing he still gives her the ember/ wakes up Audrey). And then she realised that his father isn't that evil. Same with Uma and her pirate crew. She was wrong about them. Which led her to think that she is wrong about them too... As you said her parents are the strongest villains! I also don't think that they got to an unnatural relationship. But I agree with the rest of the video!😊👌🏻
The whole point of descendants is to tell kids that people aren't always bad because of where they come from. And that's something they conveyed REALLY well the past three movies.
The music was one of the best parts of descendants 3 and I just loved the entire movie as a whole but I’m really sad for it to end. It was a good ending for the movie though.👇🏽👇🏽 I still want to know who Hannah is though....😭

That was the most disturbing part of the movie.

Super Tv Why would you think that? Of course I cared about him!
Jaime Rodriguez everyone grieves in different ways but telling people to stfu about it’s just wrong. why does it concern you so much anyway
Audrey The Ausllyologist so why did you not say that! You didn’t say anything like that in your comment!
Jaime Rodriguez a little... I mean REALLY insensitive, but okay.
mal says to hades “ for 16 years you weren’t there for me” implying she is only 16
Too young to get married...
Animation Geek I’m pretty sure that she meant when she left the isle, because she was 16 in the first movie.
So how old is she when she got married ? So she went into dorms at 16?
I think 17/18
Her page on the Descendants Wiki says she's 19 in Descendants 3, not 16. When she said "for 16 years, I had nothing and then, I was given a whole world" to Hades, she was referring to the events of the first film. In the US, you become a legal adult at 18 and that's the minimum age requirements
Sure mal had nothing for 16 years, but hades was there 4 years before she was born and she left,so for 22 years hades had nothing
*cait trying to keep her cool over the barrier for 14 minutes*
friendly reminder that jay and gil’s ship name is : gay.
Lmao i thought u were calling them gay so i just tried to figure one out and it was "gay"😂
Omg 😂
Lmao
AHA
HAHAHA MAKES SENSE SINCE THEIR BOTH GAY IF THEIR SHIP IS CANON
it was weird they didn't mention lonnie because in the second movie they mention why audrey
Right??
Melody Sherbert well the actress who played Lonnie was busy filming but Hannah could just be an extra
@Melody Sherbert omg I was thinking the same thing
Jassy Jones I thinking the same thing
I love Lonnie.
I think that instead of “Hannah turned to stone” it should be “Lonnie turned to stone” also is anyone else shipping jay and Lonnie as much as I am??
Me
Honestly they really didn’t need that line. If it was Lonnie then I would remember. But like I did not remember that line at all it was just an extra to me
Same Lonnie and Jay was my favorit ship i was so sad when lonni not was in Descendants 3
Me too, I was really hyped after D2 for Lonnie and Jay to be a couple in D3 and then that just never happened
Yass! Jay and Lonnie are the best!
But yeah also it was a bit unrealistic that they are just letting the main bad guys free
Liek maleficent and cruelly
I feel like everyone who didn’t commit a crime should be free. But jafar and all those others could stay on a prision or something.
they were trapped on the ilse for 20 years
Jassy Jones I mean yeah but you could see in the first movie that doesn’t mean a lot of their ways have changed several of them still seem to have negative intentions, some people are definitely reformed but some of them are still very much villains
Icy hot todoroki Is icy hot isn’t mother gothel dead though
@@moonkitten0557 So is maleficent (sorta), so is gaston, they had kids. I haven't read the book, but I'm pretty sure it explains it, they probably brought them back to life just to torture them.
In the books, it says that the characters (except for Carlo and Jane) graduate, so it’s been somewhere from a year and a half to two years since they first came to Auradon
The book also said that Lonnie was drafted playing professional swords and shields, so that was the excuse for her not being there.
I really like the movie but I wanted to see lizard malificent and the parents coming to auradon with than look they had in the end of the first movie. Also question is malificent going to be at the wedding???
Mega Bombo I wanted to see the wedding
Mega Bombo Ikr! I really wanted to see their parents!
Nah there’s just not gonna invite her like she wasn’t invited to the christening and then she’s gonna take over the world. But I mean I don’t see why they can’t have a lizard ring bearer?
Yes!!! Evie will sow Ainu wedding dress for her lizard self
Evie: You lied to Jay, you lied to Carlos, and you lied to me.
Ben:
Am I a joke to you?!
She didn’t lie to Ben
But she didn’t tell Ben about the promises she made to everyone else.
Ashley 09 cause he wasn’t there
Oh yeah my bad. Sorry 😬
Jisoooooooooo!!
I found it weird that Audrey got no punishment, even though there was no indication she was under a spell. Hades even brings up how they threw all the villains on the Isle, but Audrey gets a slap on the wrist.
Edit: Thanks for the likes ❤️❤️
Also, anger doesn't necessarily translate into a bloodthirsty rampage (hyperbole) Audrey is the one that chose to get revenge.
I thought that too and it made it even funnier when she kept saying "I wanted to hurt all of you." Like she literally just confessed to her crimes
Audrey is not a villain
I thought the scepter corrupted her because of how it called her name like the spinning wheel and changed her outfit
Sebastian Daniels
Nah, Audrey was evil before she grabbed it. But I was mad that they didn’t follow the lore. In one of the books they said only someone who is related to Maleficent could hold the wand, or sleep forever.
Bria Pryor I didn’t know that. Guess they just needed it for the story. I still think the scepter made her evil intentions worse though
I think that Audrey facing no repercussions is what I have such a big problem with. Like, Hades even acknowledges it-“When you guys try to destroy the world, it’s an error in judgement. But when it’s one of us, you lock them up and throw away the key.”
it made sense tho. they don’t care bc she’s apart of auradon and they let them get away with everything.
@@realestsiennashe was blinded by anger
I also wish that Ben saved Mal in this movie instead of Mal always saving Ben. I feel like Ben could have really should his true love and compassion for Mal more if maybe he saved her. And I feel like it would have been more interesting to change the dynamic of their relationship that I think people would never expected.
Also wish Ben got his beast moment.
Yes i agree with you
I would think Ben could turn into the beast whenever not just via spell but It’s not like i can change that
Ben is a dumbass boyfriend and I love him for it. Every time he opened his mouth in Descendants 2, I just said "you dumb baby" - and that's just how I like him. Useless, pretty, and too kind-hearted for his own good. Absolutely phenomenal.
D1: Mal has purple hair 💜
D2: Starts getting more blue 💙💜
D3: Mal has completely blue hair. 💙
Evie: Aw c'mon. That was my color! 😢
Athalia Knight In D2 it was getting more pink not blue
Like maybe a bit more saturation
Also in d two bangs
Actually for me it was purple, pink, blue
Juan Pedro I completely agree
Defintely agree with D2 still being the best one. I still think that it had the highest stakes out of all 3 movies, and it did an excellent job of fooling you about how the movie's going to end. You think it would end with Mal saving Ben with true love's kiss, but then an unexpected epic Mal vs Uma battle ensues. D3 lacked that element of surprise that D2 had.
Juan Pedro same
Juan Pedro yeah hades was underused so was Cecila dad
Really I feel like D2 was the worst in terms of plot, they had great music tho, I guess that's just me
If you think of the Isle as a prison, you're objection to bringing down the barrier is absolutely right.
Maria Ximena Otalora Cordoba Finally people with sense
DanielOrme totally agree with you. I didn't the isle as a prison more of a way for the royal to shovel all the bad k to one place and then be able to live in their perfect bad-free home. It never felt like a prison, maybe for some of the older villains, except when we see how bad their living conditions are. It's like they just dropped them off on an island, put up a barrier to stop them from living, and kinda left them their to die off. Did they think about them as people?? What about smitty, he wasn't really a villain he was a pirate that fallowed his captains lead, that's what pirates do. Never hurt any one. I have a feeling that smitty wasn't the only non-villian or non'fully evil person that is on the island.
ooo this is a good take
exactly
Jay and Gil are literally gay that's their shipname
Karla Biatch the few scenes together made me ship them way to much they are kinda adorable
Lol!
I definitely shipped them but it seemed like Disney (not to say that they as a company don’t include the LGBTQ+) was trying to show them as not a couple. I only say this because it felt like at the end when they were like “chest bump”, Disney was trying to emphasize their masculinity.
It took me a few moments to understand this...is Disney trying to hide something from us???
They were dancing together at the end of the movie when everyone else was dancing with their significant other so I feel like that’s as blatant as Disney is gonna get when it comes to showing an openly gay character in one of their dcoms
Based off my calculations, Mal said Hades, her father, abandoned her when she was a baby, probably around one or two, give or take. She then again says “you left me for 16 years” or something along those lines. So Mal got engaged at 17 or 18.
That’s still a little young. And I think The line was “for 16 years I had nothing”
@@isabelleblanchard2597 yeah it is young. In the second film she was still attending classes, unless the school has college as well. So she is probably around 19 in the last film.
@@lilyhailey2730 oh yeah maybe 18 or 19
hades being mal dad wasn't left field if you remember in house of mouse hades and malificent went on a date
I’m pretty sure that’s the reason why they made Hades Mal’s dad

Ashley 09 she started every sentence with capital lol are you blind
So true
Shea Perkins I didn’t think it was rushed
I didn’t think it was rushed. The songs weren’t as good as the other two though.
Descendants 3 is my favorite descendants movie in my OPINION it had the best story in any of the decenstands movie I rank the movies 1.Desencents 3 2.Descensentas 2 3.Decensentats
And I don't think they rushed Desenstands 3 I loved Descendants 3
The Jane and Carlos moment and just all the good moments You mentioned made them come back to my memory and now I’m crying ah I love this franchise so much subscribed.
I loveeeee when Audrey sang Queen Of Mean ❤️❤️she killed that song
Karizma/ Ace Fam that was one of my favorite songs
Yessssss it's still number 1 on trending
Sarah jeffery played a fantastic Audrey
Ikr i loved that song lol
OMFG YESSSSSSSSSSS
i was so disappointed when we didn’t get a Mal and Ben duet :((
Harry being a flirt was everything
Where did you see that?
You do know they can changed we're they stuck on the isle for 20 years anything can happened during 20 years like them changing.
Yeah they just need to make a new penal system
They made Cinderella's son dumb. 🤣 What happened to Chad Charming? 🤣
He was dumb already👍 He just gets from Audrey what he did to Evie, he deserves it
Yes Ben with facial hair is hot! Amen!
Meghan Castro I really like his fangs personally
Meghan Castro no he isn’t i personally don’t like him 😒
there were parts in hades and mal’s duet that made me uncomfortable because of how close they were, like the way he held her
Thank you it was kinda weird especially when she kissed him in the cheek at the end but I thinks it’s just because he’s new so we didn’t get used to him being her dad
For real
I know right. I thought it was really weird especially since she didn't really have a relationship with her dad in the first place
Didn’t he literally say she has daddy issues in the song? Big incest vibes.
But no doubt in my mind there will be a prison one day😂
Or kill them again
They are good people so no they won't be in prison. Just look at hades, the father of Celia, the father of Jay, the evil queen or cruella de vil aren't bad.
Let 'em swim with killer sharks
-Uuuuuuuuu-ma
I’ve always loved descendants!
I loved the ending and I think it made sense, because it shows villains can come from anywhere, so no point separating yourself from a certain ‘type’ of people.
Okay honestly I thought I was he only one that noticed the kinda chemistry/possible flirtation between Gill and Jay
i really thought i was the only one too😂
I totally agree with you about that one really emotional part with Evie telling Mal about how she lied to everyone.
And make the isle a jail for the villains who won't/can't reform and leave it at that
Maybe villains deserve poor conditions because they are villains
@@Missmagazinebura No they don't. No one wants to be stuck on a island where you have nothing the food isn't fresh it's all in poor conditions.
Yeah but how many villains actually care about getting revenge anymore like they've been more than 20 years in that place until Maleficent in the first movie and Hades in the third movie no other adult villain has shown any interest on scaping the isle
Descendants: Mal's mommy issues
Descendants 2: Mal's boyfriend issues
Descendants 3: Mal's daddy issues
I watched the movie and I was like “ I can’t wait to hear what Caitlyn says about this”
I really liked the movie too. It wasn’t the best but it was a fun movie and had the second best soundtrack next to the first.
*can we talk about how good the soundtrack was!*
major bops!💜💚
I loved the soundtrack especially so what you gotta do and break this down. The only song I did not like is one kiss I thought it was kinda weird
There were only 3 genuinely great songs in the movie, Queen Of Mean, Do What You Gotta Do, and Night Falls.
I didn’t love the third film I felt they didn’t need to add that many new characters. It left little time for the character we love and care to shine.
Also the music didn’t feel as good as the first and second one.
And the ending of the previous two was visually cool. This one the ending is lovely but it felt flat visually.
I feel lile the should of gave dizzy more screen time
i dissagree with some of your points
@@sammiefinjap3401 well she was under the spell so she really couldn't have
Matthew Mattocks true the only songs i liked were Ways To Be Wicked, Chillin Like a Villian(which was my fav), and Its Goin Down plus You and Me was OK it wasnt horrible
Celia was underused
I think everyone has this question that is still unanswered..
*WHO’S HANNA?!!?!!11!*
Same !!!
My take on Hannah is that they made it obvious that they know her, the audience didn't need to. So of course they'd be worried about someone they know.
But my question, is who is Hannah?!?! A villian, a princess or prince, a teacher or a parent, maybe even a pet!
Brock Phoenix that’s happys kid from the little dwarfs
@@brockphoenix9284 A girl in the band... She was literally wearing the uniform
I almost cried at that scene no joke
@@MD-ie2dh it was honestly perfect
Me too I wanted to see Evie's wedding dress design
The party at the ending was the wedding
Idk if this is the right place to rant, but
I loved D3, it felt like a great ending to the franchise but I still have many questions left unaswered:
1. What happened to Maleficent???!!!!
Like nobody said anything about her. At all.
2. Harry and Audrey are a thing now??
3.Where is Lonnie people???
4. (said in the video) What happens to the villans??? Like, are there any consequences to destroying the barrier
and everyone being free?? I get that 20+ years are a big punishment (at least for some) but some are still evil. Are there some tests or trials? I wanna know.
5. Not a question and kinda said in the video; Really wanted a royal wedding and more Bal moments (btw never realized they didn't have a duet now I'm sad)
6. Again, we had so many characters that we could not focus on all the relationships and subplots.
YESS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE I FINISHED THE MOVIE
nat panda YESSSSSSS THATS MAH SIS
Hi
TheCringyVideos🤓 hi sis
Young_Freedom Films hi sis
I honestly freaking loved it, intentionally didn't watch any promo stuff and trailers and the plot twist of Hades being Mal's dad was reeeaaaally great
Tbh I was expecting way more.
Mal for me was the worst character during the whole film (along with Chad)
Also, I really wanted Audrey to cast a love spell on Ben so they could be together again but now as an evil dynamic duo
Way more screen time for him cause he would’ve been the sidekick instead of the annoying Chad that didn’t do anything the entire film, srly what was his purpose?
Mari Pepa Chad was the most useless character
I would of loved it if she cashed the love spell and Ben just sorta became a character that she walked all over and treated like garbage but he was okay with it.
Then mal would see it and be horrified about how power hungry she was and the fact she would use the love spell on him so that he would be completely okay with the abuse and then Audrey would just be like “Mal since when did you think using love spells to get your way was a bad idea?”.
The worst camp camp memes ever Kenny Ortega should have hire us cause lowkey our ideas are way better
OH MY GOD I TOTALLY AGREE ABOUT SOME PARTS OF MAL AND HADES BEING WAY TOO INTIMATE
Malia M yk he is gay right and he has 2 kids and a husband 😂😂
Olivia jarrell I didn't know that cuz I didn't really care enough about him😂 (I know that sounds rude but idk how else to say it) but thank u for letting me know
Daddy issues
That's a normal bonding what they have. Did you ever dance with you dad?
Gil and Jay are definitely cannon, like did you not see the why they were looking at each other. They are so cute.
well the disney princesses in the past got married young
Jassy Jones arnt they in college on summer vacation because they mention summer school
maxine chan Audrey went to summer school. I assume they are still in their version of High School though.
Do you ship harry and Uma because damn I freaked when he went kiss her
Ellis Baker nope
Yep
The only aspect of the movie which I didn’t like was the writing especially the third act. What Mal did was pretty horrible and the resolution of her actions was extremely rushed. Not to mention that Evie’s presence the entire time kept reminding you that she is more in the stead of a true queen showing monarchies do not pick the best rulers!
Umm, Mal acted like a Queen, too.
If you don’t like the writing of a movie should you then not like the movie lol?
lovelive trash Nah you can like the choreography or the songs or smth but still not like the writing
Norahcake 21 I just watched hsm and you’re so right
lovelive trash yeah same HSMTMTS is much better imo
They took down the barrier as an excuse to get hades out so Mal could see him and have a better relationship with him and patch things up
sorry i’m late.
i feel like hades and uma were built up to be these bad villains but once mal just asked them for help, they gave it to her. i wish in the trailers they hadn’t focused so much on hades because it really disappointed me to see him as such a small character.
also they need to make the museum with all the princess and villain stuff more secure! the VKs get in in movie 1 and audrey just walks in movie 3.
although i did love the movie.
The finale wasn't the best, it felt rushed, but the movie was amazing and i really enjoyed it. The bes was Ben with the beard, he looked Ridiculously hot
the little fangs!!!!!!
Personally I didnt care for audrey being the villain. I was never worried that she would be stopped. And I felt like all of her moments as a villain was cheesy and felt awkward. This movie felt rushed and a mess personally. It seemed like a lot of stories and characters were throwaways because of how fast paced it was
I totally agree on the Audrey part.
I completely agree with everything u said
gil getting excited over the tiniest things on auradon was so adorable!
I for SURE remember it happening but I literally forgot where. But I remember I was like awee when it happened😂
Cameron is suuuch a great dancer. His energy is amazing
We didn’t need Celia and the smees
And hades and Audrey
There too many new things.
I rather would have seen the wedding of Mel and Ben with that time.
But I’d do enjoy the choreography of the first song.
Also I love mala hair on the second one but in this one it felt too blue. It was too similar to evie.
If you pay attention through out the movie her hair gets bluer and bluer sort of showing her embracing her dad and accepting the other half of herself
I agree on the hades part but Audrey has always been here since D1 and they mentioned her in D2
I think Hades was important, he was a part of Mal's character growth. Him being in the movie also created the foundation for her to get the ember which is the only thing more powerful than the sceptor and stop evil from reigning on auradon
Hades was legit important.
Wait a minute..
Jay
times Gill
Equals Gay...
*THE STARS HAVE ALIGNED*
Girl I swear I was just listening to one of the movie’s songs trying to decide whether I like the movie or not😂
Jay and Gil's ship name would literally be Gay it was meant to be

Jane swimming in the enchantic lake. Just made me happy to see her do what I was thinking if I was in that situation.
Audrey definitely needed community service, at least! She got out too easy.
Agreed who is Hannah! Lol
So upset there was no reference of Lonnie.
😂😂😂
I feel like it would’ve been way more interesting if uma took down the barrier in D2 and in D3 there was a war between Auradon and the Isle
Great Movie Just Wish Audrey Coulda Been A Stronger Villain
OMG I thought I was the only one who shipped Gill and Jay!!
Night Falls was absolutely my favorite part, the song is great and it was so cool to see all the VKs team up
IM SO HAPPY I WASN"T THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS IN LOVE WITH JAY AND GIL
The music was one of the best parts of descendants 3 and I just loved the entire movie as a whole but I’m really sad for it to end. It was a good ending for the movie though.👇🏽👇🏽
I still want to know who Hannah is though....😭
Hannah is just one of the girls on the band whom they obviously know
Jamirah Davis maybe Hercules’ daughter?? Idk that’s all I got
RIP Cameron Boyce We love for a wonderful time on Disney Channel
I loved D3 it was so sad because of the scenes and cameron RIP Cameron fly high angel you didn’t deserve this but your in a better place now ❤️💜💛💙😭
Personally I want to see a Hades Mal and Ben book. I mean Hades being a over protective father with Mal. I would find it awesome.
I loved it I HAVE A NEW FAV MOVIE DESCENDANTS 3❤️❤️❤️
the end scene where harry gets shipped with FOUR people back to back IS THE BEST. (mal, evie, uma, AUDREY!)
Gil and Jay’s ship name is Gay and I think that’s beautiful
