I still feel like Addison is the great alpha. The characters within the movie just misunderstood what that meant. An alpha is a pack leader, you don't necessarily have to be a werewolf for that. She's the one who brought all the groups together, and they considered themselves all one pack by the end.
Maybe the movie didn’t maybe we did but that’s a good take
That is how I took it
That's what I thought aswell
Yea that’s a good take
I’ve said that since I saw Z2.
So wait, if the zombies all have Z names, the aliens have A names, and the werewolves have w names, why don’t the humans have H names?
bc humans are the “normal” ones so they have “normal names” but it’s also just the fact of having those kind of names is most likely just the different species’ cultures
I have thought that since the dawn of time.
Eliza and Bonzo are zombies and they don’t have z names
@@camerondolphin9554 eliZa bonZo
@@camerondolphin9554 but they have z somewhere in their names
To me, The zombies Franchise feels like a Disney-fied version of Monster High, in the same way Descendants is the Disney-fied Ever After High. My first exposure to the Zombies franchise was actually seeing a picture of a werewolf girl doll and getting infuriated because the design was TOO much like Clawdeen Wolf.
It’s not
They aren’t those they do their own things
They wish they could, but they could never.🙄💅
@@galaxyskeleton they aren’t trying to they are doing their own thing
Zombies is a mix between Warm Bodies but a Disney verison
The werewolves have THE BEST songs
(We own the night, Call to the wild, Flesh and Bone and Come on out)
I wouldnt consider flesh and bone the werewolves song cause it did include everyone but yeah
Actually all song were great! My favourite would have to be Nothing but love it so upbeat and catchy and exactly my type here!
YES EXACTLY
I'm nonbinary and I defenitly got the vibes of A-spen. I was headcannoning it, But the actual moment with the prounons was so small I missed it, It was only afterwards I read about it. I was already so happy we got A-spen who both crused on Zed and Willa, being bi/pansexual representation. And then they're non binary too!! 😄 It dosen't bother me at all that A-spen is an alien.
yesss preech
yeah, they used they/them like 3 times.
Being nonbinary is actually stupid, like who in the right mindset would use a pronouns that starts with, they or them, and why do you people expect me to respect that shit, so delusional
@@nebojsamiladic2682 I must have missed that, when do the characters directly say A-Spen's pronouns (apart from when Zed and Bonzo are interrogating them)?
Same but I haven’t watched the whole movie
I kind of think it's cool that they've put a reprise of "Someday" in each of the movies so far, especially because it's genuinely a fantastic song and not just in a "oh it's good by DCOM standards" sort of way
The someday reprise had me crying
Unironically someday is such a good song
It’s i a great song but I wish it stayed as just a Zed and Addison thing like it was in the first two films
i used to hate that song for no reason ngl it honestly does unironically slap tho wtf was past me thinking💀
I am OBSESSED with that song I don't know why I just am. Favorite song in the entire franchise! 💖
I honestly think that the song "alien invasiven" was very catchy, like it's been days since I watched the movie and the song is still stuck in my head

I will never not find it hilarious how much Seabrook worships cheerleading and how Addison essentially became the town's cheer goddess after only a few years on the team. Like her Zed and Willa are the ones on the statue to signify their coming together as different species, and Addison is literally in her cheer uniform. There was also that scene where the entire town follows Zed to his college interview and waits outside his house to hear the news; like I get being supportive but I'd be overwhelmed if I was him (unrelated but every time they said Mountain College I wanted to bang my head against the wall, three movies and they really couldn't think of a better name?). Speaking of Addison, I wish Z2 and Z3 genuinely made her more alien silver hair like it was in the first movie. I feel like it just got more and more silvery blonde and even though the sliver wig in the first was hideous, the color was really good at looking otherworldly. That being said the blue alien hair in general was a beautiful color and suited Meg Donnelly better than I thought it would.
Favorite song was probably Ain't No Doubt About It solely because of the choreography and Milo and Meg's chemistry. Also I love A-spen so much and the scenes where they had absolutely no problem telling Addison to her face that they were gonna steal her boyfriend were golden. I especially loved that Zed was flattered more than anything when told this news. I know that's just a sign of modern times but it was still to cool see imo, plus it was a nice way of showing us how stable he and Addison are in their relationship without making A-spen's crush seem like something "wrong"
It was always white
Bro it’s just a college name it’s not that deep
you liked a spen? okay i could never b friends with u
@@skylarstorm8382 what"s wrong with A spen?
It is nice that they’re are stable and mature enough to ignore A-spen
I hate to say this film did anything right coz it was a mess but I agree with what you said about everyone waiting outside for his college interview + everyone acting like the future of zombies was counting on just him and this was pretty consistent with how hyper focused on college he was the entire film I actually felt bad for his character 😭
++ I also agree about meg and milo’s chemistry, the writing did nothing to make me care about their relationship but the actors pull it off so well
I think adding more character in every movie makes us spend less time with the original Cast. I wish there was more of the OG Cast
I totally agree there were plenty of characters that didn’t need to be in this movie; such as Bucky, Willa, Wyatt, and Winter
The original cast got a lot of screentime tho
@@TheLrcoffey that’s not upto u to decide their movie their rules
I felt like the alien part at the end with them going away was a bit rushed. like adison is a literal child, 17, and she just zips out to go help them. her parents could have said no or prevented it. and she just left at an instant, she could have wrestled with the thought of do I go or stay instead of just jumping on it.
because the aliens needed her help....? and her parents tried stopping her and they couldn't why would she wrestle on it when her people needed her?
Agreed. The movie really repeated the storyline of Zombies 2 with Addie being ready to throw away her life in favor of a pack of people who are supposedly like her. We could have seen more conflict and strife on Addison's part but still wanted to help aliens. The strife was there but it was so little it was not important. Heck, Addison may have accepted her identity without being willing to be part of the aliens and even if the map was on the coup instead of her, she absolutely wouldn't follow them and would just be herself for sake of herself.
@@kubat4925 one of the songs in zombies 2 the lyrics were if I have to leave to finally see if there’s someone out there and they are just like me than I’ll go
She’s selfless it’s called characterization
It was always there u just weren’t paying attention
@@kubat4925 she wanted to help them find a home
@@madnessarcade7447 It's not about being selfless, it's about her feeling like no one accepts her and being desperate to find people who won't mind her at all. She could never truly relate to all the hardships Zombies went through and Zombies could not understand why Addison was hurt because of her white hair and she spent her entire life being told to conceal those hair. She had to wear wig 24/7 even in her own house because not even her parents were comfortable with her normal hair, so she always had to conceal at least one part of herself just to fit in, otherwise she would be outcast just like Zombies. Is she selfless and willing to help others, yes, but just like Zed, she also was at times only motivated by her own selfish reasons like all humans. In the second movie she really wanted just to ditch Seabrook to live in a forest with werewolves without considering the same thing she did when she found out she's an alien, and just because she was willing to help them doesn't mean she also wouldn't have much bigger problem leaving everyone behind this time.
Bucky is like the Zombies version of Chad from descendants but a little more likeable. Also I thought Bucky was from Addison's dad side of the family.
Wait is he not from her Dad’s side of the family
no.... he's from her moms side of the family
@@billy28061100 Oh
Actually they never tell us which side the family he's from. Everyone just assumes he's from the mom's side of the family because when the Acey's asked him about his hair, he just said he's human and didn't say anything else....
In fact we don't know anything else about him other than he's self-centered and is against anyone that's different. They never talk about his family other then we know he's Addison's cousin. Nothing about his parents or if he has siblings or other family. Heck we don't even know his age.
I'm wondering if Bucky even knows which side of the family he's from. Seeing as how in Z2 it looks like he's hitting on Addison's dad, his uncle, when he calls himself a "tasty snack" while making eye contact with her dad. That boy needs to talk to someone, he goes through more mood swings than a person with bipolar disorder or a female on her period (says this a a VERY moody and scary female when I get mine, and maybe alittle bipolar too.).
Addison's grandma did say she named her FIRST born so&so (I forget the name), which means she had other children. But seeing as no one else ever said anything about Dale, Addison's dad, having siblings or even talked about Missy's, (her mom's) side of the family its have to know either way. For all we know Bucky could be adopted and never told 'cuz he looks so much like his parents, and that's why he acts why he does.
@@SerenaSilverMoon no the aceys literally said him and addison have the same grandma....
I believe the change of “Darker side” to “Other side” was to show how they saw each other as equals and not some monster or enemy. Could just me looking to deep into it-
I love Zombies but I do have one BIG pet peeve withe the whole thing: Addison‘s character arc. After her wig reveal she already belonged. Everyone loved her, no exception, she behaved and dressed completely normal and was fine with that. And she was nothing like the aliens in any way, shape or form. Her relating to them on such a level was just silly.
I even found her whining in the first movie about how her white hair was just as bad as literally experiencing racism almost repulsive enough to stop watching.
But well, the music was fire so I got over it. It’s still in the bottom third of Disney Original Movies tho
Yeah it definitely could have been handled way better
She was still bullied after revealing her true hair
I definitely agree with you on this! As a POC, it really bugged me how Addison complained about her hair and how "omg I don't belong I'm so different and quirky", especially when she said how she "knows what the zombies are going through". Like, no you don't? Your only problem is having slightly blonder hair than everyone else, the zombies were literally an oppressed minority.
I just recently watched the first movie when in a hotel room on vacation, I’m 25 and haven’t watched Disney in forever & never knew about this franchise. This plot line genuinely made me SO annoyed & it’s why I hated the movie overall. Having white hair is so frivolous in comparison to actual discrimination & outcasting a whole people group. It was silly and made no sense but it also annoyed me that Disney passed up the opportunity to make this movie truly hit on important issues (like it seemed to be trying w racism) and have Addison have some sort of hidden disability. I have alopecia (not technically a disability but the point still stands) and it would’ve been better if she took off the wig and revealed she was bald because that’s a thing a ton of little girls & boys go through. She could’ve had a prosthetic leg, or idk. Anything really besides platinum blonde hair hidden by a less platinum blonde wig. It seemed silly and like it missed the mark entirely.
@@karanghuman40 only three people called her a few names, it doesn't change the fact that she is still excepted and worship by everyone else, like really, whenever I hear her complain about how she feels that she doesn't belong, makes me fucking laugh, she has the audacity to lecture her boyfriend about not fitting in when all she has to do is put a wig on and boom she's normal, even without the wig she's still normal, while zed literally have to fight for his and his friends rights
I love how every time the song Someday it has a different emotion impact. Like at the beginning it was about Zed and Addison being together, but in Z3 it was about them reuniting one day and being together for ever. Got me balling😭😭

But when I saw gifs of that, oh my God thanks for reminding me how much I LOVE Wyatt

when was this LMFAO
@ what song?
is that in come on out? the "we will end your part of the story" part?
Caitlin is literally the best person to watch about kids shows and movies bc she also talks about shows like violetta and soy luna.
I feel like the change from darker side to other side, specifically by Willa, is showing how it’s not bad to be a monster which is something Zed hadn’t overcame at the point he first sang the song. Just because they are different or ‘other’ doesn’t mean they are bad or on the dark side.
Willa and Aspen were the first non platonic lgbt couple in the series
the plot was predictable but i enjoyed watching this. at the end of the day, what makes dcoms special isn’t how clever their storylines are but they are fun to watch.
And re-watch, which I've done quite a few times over the last month or so.
But I found it very clever and tbh have no idea what people are talking about when they called it predictable as I didn't at all here!
The "Hi, baby" after Nothing But Love absolutely killed me floored me dead on the ground can't stop thinking about it
I’m not watching this for an Oscar nomination I’m watching it because it’s cute and sweet it’s heartwarming comfort and the songs slap
It’s only predictable if u have seen all the movies and u know what they were building upto to
They’ve been dropping hints through the shorts and I called it at the end of z2
The revelation was cathartic
"the songs slap" so does Addison 😂
Something very funny to me is how with each Zombies movie Disney had more cast members from the canadian show The Next Step appear as characters in zombies. Obviously with Trevor in the first being a big character, then the second movie 2 more actors were added, then in Z3 half the TNS cast make a cameo in some way haha
(this is me suggesting you watch The Next Step by the way)
Yess another person who watched tns are you excited for s8 i was so happy when i first watched the zombies movies this year because i missed trevor and then noah and isaiah came and i was buzzing
When Addison left I kept on begging them to sing Someday. I didn’t know if it was going to actually happen but I knew it would have been the perfect moment to reprise it and it was. Also I think the reason they replaced “darker side” with “other side” is because in the first movie everyone thought the Zombies were evil and dark and going to eat people’s brains. But in the third movie people know they aren’t dark they just have a different life style thus the “other side” line come in.
one of my fav platonic relationships of zombies in general would have to be zed and eliza like especially w the line “my zom-girl’s breaking the glass ceiling” in the beginning of z3 😭
also i love the sibling relationships in the zombies movies too such as willa/wyatt , zed/zoey, and bonzo/eliza
Personally, I think that it made sense that Addison was her Grandma's most precious thing, because you can often tell that having a grandchild for Grandparents is like the best gift. It's a different feeling. It doesn't mean they don't love their own children ^^
that "hi baby" line also had me in a chokehold caitlin
Okay but they call Addison a "half-alien" but she would be a quarter-alien bc her grandma was with a human and then her mom would be a half-alien and she would be a quarter-alien.
Jesus, sorry for the comment spam, but as far as non-binary representation, I thought it was awesome to see someone non-binary being put front and center like that. I'm non-binary and I didn't feel slighted or offended at all. I was just happy that they were in the movie, their pronouns were used appropriately, and... yeah. I loved it and had no issue with them being an alien. I can see how that would be an issue for someone else, but I personally didn't think much of it. My logic was: nonbinary character, main character, correct pronouns, awareness! Not: nonbinary character, alien, alienated from society, inappropriate.
I feel the same way. The aliens are meant to be just like everyone else and they are a main character
my favorite part of this movie was definitely that eliza was still wearing her graduation gown even though she wasn’t there
I like to think they make the lyric change in Someday from darker side to other side to show that they’ve learn they’re differences aren’t bad just different
I already know I’m gonna agree with everything. This movie was ridiculous lol but I still enjoyed it!!
No it wasn't it was great here!
You met the cast?! Lucky I wish I could meet them and show them support in person for the Zombies Franchise which is one of the best franchises ever made here!
“I love being right” true 😂
honestly i feel like the wolves misinterpreted, the great alpha isnt ever shown to be a wolf in what we see just that she’s howling which is a direct scene in the second film. addison is just a vessel bc she’s not human but she’s not monster either and due to that she’s very accepting bc she knows what it’s like to be different so she helps those who are. by making an environment where those who are different can be themselves without really thinking of herself (her own difference just being motivation) indirectly gives her a place to feel safe herself. she’s someone who’s welcoming and in being so she is accepted into all communities acting as a leader bc her instincts are usually right about that kind of stuff. Also as a long time monster high fan I loved that they made frankie non-binary bc it kind of makes sense uno she’s made of random dead body parts and I also just like the whole clawdeen and frankie introducing each other and mentioning their pronouns it’s such a good message for kids
1) I bawled like a baby when Addison left and was still going at it especially at the someday part and I was glad she came back
2) This movie made me wonder which side of the family Bucky was on. Was it on addy’s dads side? Or was it on her moms side but her sister/brother was younger than her because they didn’t mention her in the message
Addison's grandma said that her first born was nickname Missy, so I think that she had at least one other kid or she would have said "I named my only child....". Either way Bucky needs help, I think he might be bipolar or something like that and just isn't getting treatment for it, seeing as how that would make HIM very differently from everyone else.
I am non-binary and i loved A-spen, it almost made me cry, actually. I don't really care about them being an alien, i personally think it represents my struggles of feeling like i don't belong in this world.
You put into words what I’ve been struggling to since watching!
This is the first DCOM that I actually loved and enjoyed. I love how cute the outfits were and how catchy the songs were! Alien invasion was amazing! And dont get me started on how cute A-spen was 🥺 such a sweet character
I love every single one of the Zombies movies. I think Addison is the great Alpha cause even though she is an alien I don't think the wolves ever actually said the great alpha had to be a wolf they only said the great alpha had white hair and would lead them to the moonstone. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think I am. I loved how they had Zedisson be the bridge because it was so fitting since they are the bridge between the worlds. Also I agree that Exceptional Zed and the reprise were two of the best songs in the movie along with this rendition of Someday. I think have changed darker side to other side because darker side was in reference to the Zombies and those were really the only "monsters" we knew about at the time but now there are the wolves and the aliens too. I might be wrong about that as well but that is my thoughts Zombies 3 was by far the best out of all three in my opinion. By the way if you really think about it Addison doesn't really belong to any one group. Before the movies her group was the humans then in the movies she joined each new group of "monsters" as well probably even becoming a part of the vampires and mermaids groups as well. Plus more than once the wolves even call her a part of their pack. So if you really think about her group is humans, zombies, wolves aliens and possibly(and probably) vampires and mermaids.
no they did say they had to be a wolf....
@@billy28061100 Thank you for correcting me. I wasn't sure cause I couldn't remember.
So many questions after .
They don’t address enough of Addison and her family’s history. Did Addison’s dad know? If not, how did her mom hide it? Was Addison not born at the hospital with white hair? What about Bucky’s alien parent? How much did they hide? Is Bucky’s parent dead? And on the topic of Bucky, why didn’t they ever have a heart to heart? His cartoonish villainness in a movie of otherwise normal characters was a very odd choice, and imo the wrong one. Why does Addison never react to her cousin’s obvious dislike of her? How does he feel knowing he’s a creature he’s been taught to hate? If the grandma wanted to inspire peace and unity, why would she tell her kids to uphold and embrace fear of monsters? Was she counting on Addison not only being non prejudiced AND extremely well liked and influential to make it safe for aliens? How will school be fair with aliens if they’re biologically superior in every way? How and why do they procreate if they don’t have emotions? If they couldn’t feel emotions , why did they care so much about finding a new home? Why did grandma put coordinates in Addison if she never meant for them to leave earth? HOW did she put coordinates in Addison? Won’t Addison be no longer eligible for college as she is part monster, even if they’re letting monsters in now? Why does nobody have pay for property damage, when cars caught on fire? Why was their environment destroyed? They don’t appear to have a form of currency , and economic gains make little sense in a world where everyone is enhanced and non hostile. Did those people shut off their emotion blockers? Where are their parents? If mothership is the sole parental figure, why do they have the parts necessary to procreate? Why is Bucky completely “normal “? Why would Addison give up her parents, best friend, boyfriend , and everyone she’s ever loved just because she has alien dna? And how does she somehow get everyone to rally behind her in these times of conflict? Why is the weight of inclusion lie on Zed’s shoulders?? I think the burden should be on their friends and allies to help them. And why can’t other zombies or werewolves be great as well??
😭😭
The reason it had the dcom sign at the end is because it is still seen as a Disney channel original movie as the other 2 films premiered on Disney channel. But due to Disney channel being removed from multiple locations around the world it was made to go out on Disney+ making it a dpom. Most places in Europe don’t have Disney channel anymore.
you talking about your experience on set was so fun!!!! glad you had fun cait
The first movie was so romantic and the news Teo it’s sad how they push aside their romance. It’s there but it could have more moments. Some seemed forced compared tot he first one.
Gotta say, Zombies is my favorite Fandom despite Descendants getting me back into Disney.
The problems with Descendants that simply don't exist in Zombies are easily the best that draw me more to one another, let it be the actual couple duets (looking at you, Mal and Ben), all characters being important (once again, looking at you Mal) and consequences actually being consequences to that character (seriously Mal, again?).
Overall, I enjoyed Z3 more than D3 even though it'd just rank 2nd right after Z2 for me. I love the aliens despite hating it at first but they delivered.
I actually feel bad for not liking the songs that came after Exceptional Zed as much as I'd have liked to have but well.
My biggest pet peeve were Wyatt and Eliza though. I just felt like that mutual interest just happened too quickly, even forced in some way. That's actually the only thing that made it just not good enough to deserve the top spot in my ranking.
They could both get A-Lan and A-Li and be happy, especially as these four share so many traits.
But yeah, with Wyatt and A-Lan and their actors hanging out often I actually had hopes we'd get them as a thing, similar to A-Spen and Willa. But I'm actually glad that they went there more noticeable than before
i agree about wyatt and eliza soooo much. that ship seemed VERY random to me. also i guess eliza's actress looks younger than she is but i feel like there was a very weird age gap
@@edenb731 yeah, I don't mind the actor's ages but it's weird. Like, Pearce and Matt are much closer in age than Pearce and Kylee are for example.
I don't know, they just never gave me the impression that they'd be into each other. Willa would have made more sense for Eliza than Wyatt tho
With Eliza and Wyatt, I have a few things to say.
1. It was subtly hinted as far as the second movie goes with Eliza calling Wyatt handsome, in a deleted scene recognizing his cologne and liking it, and of course both of them later on dancing together at the Prawn and supposedly enjoying it. So it didn't really come out of nowhere, it just never really got the most focus because it's only a side story for their characters.
2. Their characters are roughly the same age in the movie (with Eliza being like probably only one year older, though Wynter mentioned werewolves could live for 100 years but is not certain of it) and we also know that there was even a bigger timeskip between second and third movie than it was with the first and second so they could've developed it in the meantime and the ages of actors aren't exactly much relevant especially that whether or not Kylee would be either in Seabrook or Z-corp, their relationship wouldn't get much further than them dancing together. Keep in mind that actors and the characters they're playing aren't exactly the same person.
3. With you wanting to ship Willa and Eliza and Wyatt and A-lan and even A-li and Eliza, I think it's more of a bias with having more queer relationships more than anything. I'm not complaining, getting even more than A-spen and Willa would be great, but for that, you actually need chemistry between actors to play this instead of them being the same age of the actors and gender, especially since I doubt A-lan and Wyatt have anything in common really.
19:32 also irs a reference to zombies 2 how zed got jealous when he thought that Wyatt was flirting with Addison and that he thought she liked him back but addison took a similar situation and handled it in a mature way shows their growth
Just finished watching your reaction and I'm glad you addressed the title in the end as I was getting ready to defend after seeing the title but then the video was the opposite of what I thought so I'm glad you loved it here! The only thing I would disagree with you on is how zed was very self motivated in the past but he actually wasn't and that Nothing but love is a great song and one of my favourites here!
To me, I’m only a bit disappointed that they went so loosely with the mystery of Addison. I mean after I connected all the dots I had a theory that Addison was an Alien after watching the first movie. Then it got even more evidence after seeing the second movie to provide that I was right so... I'm only a tad bit disappointed.
How? I didn't even know until the cliffhanger and that is when I knew here!
@@MartialArtswithLucyLu This is my thought process “Hmm if zombie names like Zed start with a z then Addison would be what? An Alien… yeah right an Alien would this movie be if the next would show that Addison is an Alien.” Then the second movie “Werewolf names start with W and Addison didn’t so she can’t be the Great Alpha… Ok, she isn’t a Werewolf. Stars… Blue color and Blue colored hair… Addison is an Alien confirmed I guess.” Then the trailer for Zombies 3 “Aliens… Great. Another species sign Zombies, Werewolves, and now Aliens. Yay Addison is an Alien. The wait wouldn’t mean she’s like 1/4 Alien because her Grandma was one so her daughter would be Half Alien. Wow… cool blue outfit.” Etc. If you know Steven Universe fans were already confused because were constantly nagged with Diamond symbols and the pink mural. And then boom some people said that Pink Diamond is shattered, some said Rose was Pink Diamond, and Pink Diamond will never turn to the series and we had that argument for years until the episode A single pale rose. I always was with Rose was Pink Diamond and the community was like... How? While I and other people were like... We were right.
@@JMMJK Uh okay that last part confuses me I've heard of steven universe but I never watched it here!
@@JMMJK I expected myself for her to be even more of a mixed hybrid so I understand and yeah, in comparison to PD being RQ, Addison is utterly obvious.
All I have to say is Ain’t no Doubt About it, is an absolute bop
My favorite thing when I marathoned the ZOMBIES movies with my sister is that I joked about mermaids in the second movie and in the middle of the third one. I remember literally saying “Next thing you know Seabrook is gonna be helping mermaids stop the kraken by the shore of their town.” And, of course, the fact that my sister and I laugh at the constant use of the song Someday.
I honestly really liked the whole movie franchise and the last movie too. The music I felt was reallly good and the choreography was very creative and I especially loved the choreography for Aint No Doubt because it was really cute! I know there’s nothing like the old Disney channel, but I really loved the movie franchise!
Since you brought it up, I would like to think that Addison is the person in the prophecy, but they just assumed that the prophecy was calling for a “Great Alpha.” Alternatively, Addison still is the Great Alpha, just because she’s not a wolf doesn’t mean she’s not a part of the pack. She brought everyone together, discovered the moonstone, and encouraged harmony between all the different species. Whichever it is, I believe that Addison is the person in the prophecy.
I enjoyed hearing your joy and excitement talking about meeting some of the cast 😊
We definitly need a Ranking of all the Zombies Songs 😍
Me and my friend sat down and watched the first two together a few weeks ago and the the third one when it came out and I swear that they said that Bucky was a senior in the first movie so every one after that we where like “dude why are you still here”
I loved hearing your thoughts ❤️ Zombies has been my absolutely favourite Disney Channel franchise (I actually learned about it watching one of your videos about the most popular songs, I heard "Someday" and I fell in love with it instantly), it makes me so happy and I cry like a baby with every movie lol
I'm not NB (I'm gender-fluid, although I don't really feel like either gender most of the time) but when I found out Aspen is non-binary, I almost cried. Aspen is probably my favorite character from the whole movie. Although if I found out that the non-binary character was an alien before I watched the movie, I'd probably be slightly offended. But I think it works in context to the movie's/series' main plot, that you should treat people equally even if they are different.
This film seemed way to easy for me. Like they just gave us that Addison is a alien. No stress no mystery nothing. There was context clues throughout the whole beginning. Through the first song Addison is super excited to see the aliens. Saying “They could be our friends” she’s not even worried. Through the blue outfits she wears. How accepting she is of them. It was all there so for me it was to easy.
It was such a good movie 🎥
I know a lot of people think of zombies as a throw away franchise and something to make fun of, but there really is such a cute little community of zombies fans who really love these movies, and I think 3 is a good send off for this franchise and that it respects those of us who have been here since the start way back in 2018 with zombies 1.
The songs in this movie are all BANGERS!! Come On Out is the absolute best
i hope youtube still feels positive to you! your videos/you on the platform definitely has a positive impact for me
MILO GOT ROBBED WHEN HE WAS ON DANCING WITH THE STARS sorry I just all the sudden remembered that 🤦🏾♀️
Been waiting for this video! 💗💚
The soundtrack for this movie was so good
I have a theory about the second zombie's movie what if the great alpha has the spirit of a wolf but is mortal or in Alison guess you know what but the whole points is what if the legendry of the great alpha changed throughout time and Alison was always going to find the moon stone, but she wasn't going to be the great alpha because it never exists just a theory
It was a fun contagious positive energy with so much heartwarming and emotional moments
Too much cynicism these days
This film was sweet and the songs slay
You can see where the bigger budget went and it’s great
This was a beautiful heartwarming movie
The first time supernatural meets scifi outside of a comic book property so it’s unique also
I don’t get how some people hate it it’s too cute
This movie was the first of the 3 that I watched and I absolutely loved it. This is literally the first DCOM I've watched that I liked. I dont understand how people hated it?? The characters were so cute and likable and they even had a NB character! What else do people want 😭
@@velvet4299 all the movies are cute
@@velvet4299 wish u likes the first two they were cute too
@@madnessarcade7447 I liked them but I wouldn't say I loved the first one 🤔 but zombies was by far my favorite movie franchise Disney has ever made. Hands down
@@velvet4299 ok
I love Aspen and Willa have a crush on one another
A-spen and Willa were the best part of the movie imo
fr tho
Sounds like the high school in the movie might be a 3 year high school, 10th-12th grade. It’s a set up that I don’t think is too common in real life anymore, but still used in a lot of movies and shows
Great video caitlin ♡
Best one in the series
Some knew you and your channel? That is so awesome. Glad you got that experience.
I watched this movie yesterday and I cried with the reprise of "someday"!!
I honestly really liked Zombies 3, it might be my favorite one. The plot was for sure predictable, i mean as soon as i saw the ending of zombies 2 i thought 'shes gonna be a Alien, isn't she?" and i was right, but I liked how they reveled it and also its a Disney channel franchise movie- they are all predictable. But i had a fun time watching it
It was more accurate speculation than being predictable tbh
@@madnessarcade7447 it was still predictable- i mean i saw everyone predicting it when it came out right away, that doesn’t happen with many movies. But being predictable doesn’t mean bad- like i said, i still like it. Predictable movies aren’t really bad like some people say (not you, but some people think that) it can be good if done in the right way, like Zombies 3 did. Plus like i said i don’t know why anyone would be expecting anything unpredictable in a Disney channel movie lol
To be honest I thought Bucky straight up died at the end and that's how they decided to end the Zombies franchise.
In the original movie Bucky is Addison's cousin and Addision did say cuz to Bucky in addition to this both Addison and Bucky have different last names. Addision Wells and Bucky Buchanan and in this movie definitely is announced the commander is Addison's grandmother on her mom's famiy unless the grandmother gave birth to another kid could be a parent to Bucky.
My favorite song is I'm finally me just about Addison's story being an outsider in her own homewtown. First movie she's not a zombie having different hair color, in Zombies 2 she's not a werewolf great alpha and in this movie she disocvers who she is an alien both grandmother and Missy are aliens.
my theory is that addison's dad's sister is buckys mom, which explains the relation and why they'd have different last names and bucky being human
Is it weird that I’m 27 and I absolutely loved this movie? 😅 Like yes I can obviously recognize that it’s a bit cheesy and silly because it’s a kids movie, but I love that too. And I think this was definitely my favorite movie of the entire trilogy. It was so fun and hype and sweet, and I just really liked it all around. 😊
My only two real critiques are; Why did Addison’s hair grow when she transformed into her alien form? Like I get it turning blue, but I just don’t get why it grew. 😄🤷🏻♀️ And like you; I also don’t get how the timeline works out seeing as the four years are supposed to have taken place over these three movies, but there never seems to be any real time jump like a year or so between any of them. But it’s okay, it was still a great, fun movie that I’m sure I’ll watch again. ☺️
I'm 25 and I loves these movies and don't think they're cheesy at in fact I think Zombies is one of the best franchises ever made here!
I'm 22 and I watched this with my dad who is 52 and he absolutely loved it! 😄 The movie is simply entertaining, and that's all it need to be! This was also my faveourite one in the series! 😊
I'm 20 and love these movies because THEY ARE silly and cheesy, but enjoyable because of that fact!
I'm in my 30's (NOT saying my age) and I like these movies, they make me smile, laugh and giggle. I love the songs, I have all 3 soundtracks on my phone.
Though at times they make me think and draw some pretty depressing lines between Seabrook and our world.
Like in the 1st movie its like how the 50's were with "the colored people need to say away from the whites, they don't belong in our school" and such. Then in the 2nd movie it was like "fear the natives, they're not like us, they need to be contained and controlled." And then the 3ed is like with the refugees/imagrents "they're taking what's ours and taking over, they can't be trusted."
Even if that wasn't/isn't what Disney was going for that's how my brain saw it and somehow how it works. Yeah, I overthink things all the time.
@@SerenaSilverMoon that's definitely what Disney was going for!
I've never had any interest wahtsoever in the Zombies franchise but your passion and love for it (plus, the possibility of the third one being actually good - and just looking way better than the previous ones) it's making me consider actually watching Someday...
I've been waiting for this one!!!
It’s so cool that you got to go to the set!
One month later...
I really enjoyed this movie, great ending to a fantastic franchise.
About your experience with the cast; I'm so jealous!!!
I have been waiting for this ahhh😩
I love to listen to your voice and I love to watch your video's, you're such a funny, lovely person 💗
One thing I still wonder is that are these movies just going to end up with how Zaliens were created for Austin and Ally fans
Idk about Toronto but highschool in some other parts of Canada that are more to the North (like Alberta) consist of the grades 10, 11 and 12. That might explain why they finish Highschool in three years. That doesn’t explain why Bucky and the seemingly older kids are in the same year as them, but it explains the total duration of their Highschool years perhaps?
Always love hearing your thoughts on these movies
15:40 I think at the ending scene they were all dancing on the ship so thats why Bucky was up on the ship, & he could be related on Addison's dads side, my question is why didn't Addison's mom get beamed up?
I think this was a nice finale for the series, and I enjoyed if for the most part and for me "Ain't no doubt about It" is by far the best song in the film. (I also really like nothing but love)
Bucky and the “Acys” could have been held back
I love this movie so much
I’m still laughing over Allie’s (or maybe it’s spelled A-Li) line in the spaceship where she said ‘Vaporize’ instead of ‘Welcome’ with A-Spen and the alien version of the guy who plays EJ in HSMTMTS.
The fact this was the last Zombies movie and it felt rushed and didn’t feel like the first 2. It doesn’t give me the same feels.
I always agree with most the points in your reviews! I love hearing other Disney Channel lovers review DCOMs and know that they’re supposed to be ridiculous.
As a non binary person I liked a-spen I thought they were pretty cool and representation wise I think it was an alright step forward. It was kinda calling non binary people aliens but I agree with you. And it’s especially good for Disney and progression
It was not calling non binary people aliens but ok🤦🏼♀️
If they were calling non binary people aliens they would have made all of the aliens non binary not just one of them…

the only songs I remember are “im exceptional zed” and the alien invasion one, and obviously someday reprise which makes me want to re watch the first, they were okay of course it doesn’t beat the first (besides the cgi, the choreography, and the set), but I still wonder what the movies would be if they had took a more simple step in the second movie, instead of adding more change that adds more time to get use to (the werewolfs) they could’ve shown how change doesnt happen over night, like maybe zombies can learn in the same room now, but they aren’t treated/seen as equally and don’t have the same opportunities and the zombies can have opposing views as “that’s just how it’s always been at least we can be in the same room so i’m just going to stay quiet” and “that’s not enough, we need to be equal” but I mean it’s obviously not as interesting especially for the age range
i honestly wish it was still revolving around the zombies more instead of just adding more supernatural beings to the roster
The change from darker to other side could have been done also cause zombie town use to be known as the darker side, where they were treated as monsters but now it’s just this other side where it’s just a different works from Addison
I kinda like that in zombie 3 didn’t have them break out into song every 2 minutes like they did in descendant 3
As a Kpop fan the Zombies franchise songs are giving very much Kpop aesthetic which is probably why I like them so much and I’d be interested to see who produced them.
i didnt cry at the end of zombies 3, as opposed to descendants 3 where i was in a state of depression for the next week. so that was nice. now dont get me started on the emptiness i felt after the royal wedding, but thats a whole other thing
I did remember an article where Milo said they would leave it open ended for a 4th incase but also wrap it up incase not
