the fact that this video has more value than so many other ones that I have watched. jesus. i wasted so much time when i could've just watched this one 30 min vid ahhaa. thank you so much for this
I am excited to try this template, but what really attracted me to it is the inbuilt flexibility which other templates/systems I have come across didn't provide. I am at the start of my freelance journey, moving from being an employee, so I don't know yet how it will pan out. But I feel more confident taking this step through the advice you give in the various videos I have watched so far. Thank you.
Amazing template, I would recommend downloading after watching and then re-watching and editing yours and she talks through it. Made everything so much simpler. Thanks again.
wow this video is actually unbelievably HELPFUL 😭🙏🏽 It's so simple but your whole set up makes so much sense - finally something my brain can actually comprehend and actually USE hahaha thanks for the template, I seriously needed something like this. You're amazing and so real girl - THANKS A MILLION!! 🌟💃🏼💕
My ADHD brain could make sense of it and coming from Clickup, all I could think of is why aren't all tools like this? The All-Encompassing to-do list is such a great simplification and the template allows for large projects as well. This is absolutely fantastic! Thanks a Million! Subscribed!
Thank you so much for this incredible template ! I've spent the last 2/3 days searching for an ideal solution and I think I finally found the one. So happy to be able to make it my own, you're a life-saver 🙏🏽 A system you love is a system you use, a system you actually use is a system you keep !
Thank you Deya! I've clicked on at least half a dozen Notion setup videos, and yours is the one I liked most (also one of the few where I watched through to the end). I love how you outlined the two core principles first before diving into your setup. I already have most of the components you mentioned already (e.g., task list), but your ideas helped to glue them all together in a more functional way. Love your content and presentation style!
Thank you Deya! This is the first video I've watched of yours and you've easily earned yourself another subscriber. thanks for this template, Ill try it out this week 💞
THIS IS THE BEST NOTION TEMPLATE EVER! 🥳 I've been looking for the best platform/tool I can use where I can see all my tasks (whether for work or personal). I really wanted to see how much work I do in a week! I will completely use this for my personal and work life! Some other creators would grab the opportunity to sell this kind of template but here it is on RUclips, for free! Such a game-changer and life changer. Thanks, Deya! Continue being an inspiration for all of us 💖💖
This was so helpful Deya, I've been in need of a Notion system for my to do lists and this was so clear and makes sense to me. Thank you!! Please share more of your productivity tips in the future 👍🏻
Ahh, Shelly! I am so happy to hear that this was helpful! I'm loving Notion so much. I'll definitely be sharing more in the future Thanks for watching! 💕☺
oh my gosh, I'm sooo happy to have this template and for your tutorial!! You have no idea how is my face now smiling while I'm setting it up for myself!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you for this helpful video. Time management is one of my top enemy and this give me idea now hot to make my life easier with multiple clients I have
So happy it was helpful, Dovielyn! I have another video specifically about how to manage multiple clients in case that one's helpful, too! Here it is: ruclips.net/video/aVg3nmwXrtc/видео.html
Thank you so much for sharing this! This is a life saver and game changer! I have been looking for a program like Notion for a very long time, and thank you so much for the free template!!!
She is next Ali Abdaal, I follow her advice, I was in a hell hole as I am very new in freelancing work. Thanks to her ways I'm back to normal life. Continue to seek her advice. God bless her!
I recently came across Notion. And I LOVEEEE it. But you're right there are just so so many templates, ideas, ways, that it can be used. Definitely going to try out your template. I had a few questions on this, 1.How do you estimate how many hours you want to work? Like in your weekly you calculate personal as well as external and internal all as work, (or did I not follow it right?) 2. The All-Encompassing To-Do is for that particular week ONLY, right? 3. When I'm planning or rather if I need to reconfigure the Weekly Main template, can it be done mid-week? Will it affect the current weekly planner or only the ones in the future?
Great questions, Sanaya! Sorry for the delay. 1. I normally budget in some numbers off the top of my head - like if I have certain hourly retainers or anything, then I already know how many hours I'm supposed to work roughly per client. Everything else, I just refer back to what I think is important in my life and what I want to prioritize. It'll take a bit of testing and tweaking as you go - the time estimates don't have to be perfect the first few things! 2. Nope - that's forever! That's your to-do list that carries over week by week for everything that isn't slotted into the weekly plan and checked off. :) It is a synced block which means it is essentially a 'master' task list that holds all tasks that aren't in progress or planned to be done yet. Let me know if that makes sense! 3. Yes - you can set up future week plans mid-week of the previous week. That's no issue! As long as you make duplicates, it won't change anything for the previous weeks. :)
Thank you Deya! Just having an inetrview with a new client and they are using Notion so this was so helpful! Is Toggl a free feature to integrate with Notion?
Hey Deya! thank you so much for this video and template. I was wondering, do you use your company email to create accounts with all your productivity tools? or do you use a separate personal email and then integrate it with your company email calendar?
Hi Reen! I used my personal email when I started and now that I have a business email, I use my business email! I have all my calendar integrated in my Calendar app, yep. :)
Hi Deya, This was amazing video. I am looking for weekly planning and I find your video. it was really helpful for me. I see that you have a start timer option but on my side, there is no option like yours. Are you using premium plan ?
Hi Gaurav, glad you enjoyed the video! I'm using the Toggl time tracking extension here in Notion but there are a few options available. This is not the premium plan.
Do you incorporate meetings into your weekly template schedule or schedule meetings for future weeks? If so, how? My hunch is to schedule the meeting as a task and the time estimate will be the meeting length, plus login/recap notes, but I want to make sure I am thinking about it correctly. Thanks!
Hey Jenna! I normally incorporate recurring weekly meetings into the weekly template itself - just so I don’t have to re-add it in each time. Otherwise, I will add in one-off meetings manually when I prep the following weeks! 😊 Great question, thanks for asking!
Deya! This Notion Template is GENIUS. Thank you so much for sharing! I do have a question. I've tried for hours to figure out how to create a comprehensive view of the tasks that have been placed into the "Weekly Plan for a Freelancer" for EACH "Weekly Plan for a Freelancer" that we create for each week of the year. So I would like to see the individual tasks that have placed inside each Weekly Plan for a Freelancer in a Calendar View. Like a Master Task View via Calendar view. I have not been able to do this with this setup...do you happen to know how to do it using this Notion Template? Hopefully what I'm asking makes sense. I would really appreciate your help!
Thank you so much, Vida! So unfortunately the weekly plans are all technically "separate" tables - so there's no way to view everything in one place unless you drag all the tasks out into a comprehensive view - if I understood your question correctly. Let me know if that helps.
Do you use this as well as google calendar? Saw your video on time blocking and wondered if that can be done on motion also or you just use two systems? 😊
Hi Bonita, I used only Google Calendar for the longest time until recently discovering Notion - I still use Google as it organizes y call links and sends notifications etc. but I use it in conjunction with Notion which I find I can make more notes on, and do more detailed planning on. In the end whatever works best for you! I hope this helps x
@@MyNameIsDeya Thanks for your explanation - and thank you for your template! SO helpful! I too am wondering how to use it as a calendar - how to add meetings. Do you add each meeting as a task with a deadline and a time? I'm worried I'll lose meetings in the task list - especially meetings set for weeks later. Also, if you have a recurring meeting each week - how to add a time without a deadline date ... Apologies for the questions - been trying to work it out on my own and am left scratching my head :-)
Hey! I normally use 1) my camera filming my face and then 2) Vimeo's screen recorder but you can use Vimeo's screen recorder to film your face and screen at the same time, too.
Hey hey! :) I recently made an update to this video + Notion template for 2023. Here's the latest vid: ruclips.net/video/iHR9_dAxEBs/видео.html
