This generation of Mustang makes for great low budget drag strip fun. Look up the older Andrew Lavender 4.6 2V videos, he details how to make a reliable 1,100 to 1,200 hp 4.6 2V with I believe ~ 30 psi of turbo boost. The 4.6 2V really works well with boost. I think Andrew started with a supercharger, went turbo, and is now Coyote power. With the turbo 4.6 2V he ultimately ran 8 flats at 170 mph, but his class got faster and so he switched to a Coyote. My guess is there is a mismatch somewhere in this car's combination: gearing, converter, camshaft.
Holy horsepower batman! 10k!! Are you kidding me? Why so cheap? Someone said 5k car lmao I love seeing people show how little they know about cars when they complain about your prices!! Honestly this is priced way under what its actually worth!
I'm guessing it's the chassis, roll cage and suspension tuning that makes it so the torque is more to the wheels and not the interior driver. My stock Saturn Vue V6 will put you back in the seat but it's got butter for suspension.
So I noticed the pipe from the throttle body to the fender. I've never seen a supercharger feed into the fender then to the throttlebody. I would start there for your lack of power. They usually just directly feed into the intake without taking the long route around. Secondly, that sounds like belt slip not supercharger whine. Try tightening the belt and plumbing the thing properly.
That is because the discharge of the blower routes to the drivers side and then back through the large intercooler you see at 18:16. I would be the car is down a cylinder but with the cams and blower you don't notice at idle and he is right, that thing should be spinning the tires for sure not just barking them going into second.
Oh also does it come with the hand held tuner? Maybe there is a couple of tunes on it already and possibly it may be on the stock mode and i can't see why there wouldn't be the aggressive tune downloaded on it, worth a try Nick.
Sounded like it was backfiring, a little when you were just kinda getting into & part throttling it. Definitely needs a tune. I could easily street that one. 👍
You need to wear head protection in a car with a cage on the street or at the track. One wrong move or if you get into an accident you'll be wearing your brains in your lap.
On your walk around reviews of the cars, it would be great information to include tire brand, size, and date codes. Love the channel and all the cool cars!
Awesome ride, though it makes me kinda sad that all the money someone spent to build this car it still only sells for a few thousand more than a bone stock car.
Its the automatic transmission that kills it,for me at least.I get that on the drag strip a slush box is preferred but the fun factor of a stick shift is ten fold
It's worth every penny. Please go buy one with the same mileage, then do what's been done to this one and get back to us with how much you spent. Ignorance costs people a lot of money.
Well I can only hope you're trolling and I fell for it,but the supercharger alone runs around $3k,the wheels and tires are worth $1500,so there's approximately $10k just in performance parts without even counting what a bone stock GT books for,id guess around $5k-$6k.Well there's 2 minutes of my life gone that I'll never get back...
So……Does The Horn Work? Seems Like A Racing Street Car! Nick…. You Mentioned it Is Supercharged…….. I Don’t See a Supercharger on The Motor But I Do See A Turbo!
@ Boy I don’t know I am looking it up and all I see is it against Federal law to remove CC. Don’t get me wrong I would still drive this car but I think Kansas requires CC after a certain year. I am way to pretty to go to jail.....

I was expecting Dukes Of Hazard but got driving Mrs. Daisy! Something must be amiss.
ITS ALL ABOUT THE TUNE....PERHAPS ITS BEEN TURNED DOWN FOR STREET...
I think somebody lied about the internals of that motor
Very good price 👍
Definitely need sorted out based on your description. Most likely the rear gear and converter not matched to the power delivery.
I'm guessing it's the chassis, roll cage and suspension tuning that makes it so the torque is more to the wheels and not the interior driver.
My stock Saturn Vue V6 will put you back in the seat but it's got butter for suspension.
Sounds like he or she that own the car setup for 1/4 mile dragstrip the tires won't burn out. Very sweet little ride.
I would love to own this Mustang. Someone is really going to enjoy this beauty

It’s the super charger!
That's beautiful 2001Fordmustang
Oh also does it come with the hand held tuner? Maybe there is a couple of tunes on it already and possibly it may be on the stock mode and i can't see why there wouldn't be the aggressive tune downloaded on it, worth a try Nick.
Yes
Sweet race car, nice work Nick!!!!~~
I'm guessing the roll cage and chassis stiffening is why you don't feel such a surge in the seat. All that torque isn't lost in the body.
Make sure the wipers work
I want to go to Walmart in, it sounds fun
Sounds like a good tune up new plugs they are probably fouled
Happy New Year Nick nice ride
$10k
not bad at all
Sounds like it needs more converter+gear. Sounds very lazy down low. Does the build sheet mention any aftermarket stall converter and gears?
Upon pausing the video the sheet states the car has a 3000 stall and 3.73’s. Yeah…needs more converter for sure, 3600+ and some 4.10’s. 👍
Sounded like it was backfiring, a little when you were just kinda getting into & part throttling it. Definitely needs a tune. I could easily street that one. 👍
Id love to have it.
You need to wear head protection in a car with a cage on the street or at the track. One wrong move or if you get into an accident you'll be wearing your brains in your lap.
Was thinking the same.
That is a ton of car for the asking price!
Would looooooove to stockpill a bounch of these beauties ❤❤❤❤ in a lovely barn, and enjoy them allllll the summer 🙏😎😎
ComeOnMan......I would have too much fun with that Stang.
On your walk around reviews of the cars, it would be great information to include tire brand, size, and date codes. Love the channel and all the cool cars!
Diff ratio?
Lemme know if this is still for sale, id be coming from N.E Pennsylvania for it
Nice Looking Ford Mustang There My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors
You're Welcome So Very Much There My Good Little Bro Nick Southgate Sir Of Maple Motors
Thank You So Very Much There To Everyone Else
Awesome ride, though it makes me kinda sad that all the money someone spent to build this car it still only sells for a few thousand more than a bone stock car.
Sounds like she needs a dyno tune ,and that should definitely give her what she needs.
MIGHT NEED A DYNO TUNE... other than that lots of potential.
Nick when are you going to video the black fox body
Do I hear a pulley or a belt?
ITS A PULLY BRO
Its the automatic transmission that kills it,for me at least.I get that on the drag strip a slush box is preferred but the fun factor of a stick shift is ten fold
Terminator or this 🤔👀
If you have the money don’t even think twice, neat car but no terminator
Holy moly that is amazing totally breathtakingly beautiful car that is a popo magnet🎉
Is that Clark proctor car
Probably needs to be put on a dyno and tuned
Need to take that car to a top notch tune man! Something is off, that thing should be breaking loose when romped on!!
The cobra
Terminator was stronger considering this probably has 10000 in the motor and upgrades needs to be power tuned so all the mods work together
Sounds like a pro charger
it is,
Not trying to pick on you, but its hard to hear anything with the windows or top down.
Sounds like that car been sitting probably needs some fresh fuel plugs n tune revision
Does that use race fuel or does it use pump gas?
Race fuel
It's just an entry-level drag car
Not with that cage. Some serious money was put into that alone. Entry level drag would just have a 6 point
Not a bad deal at all
🤤🤤🤤🤤that sound
awesome
Guy says in commits it's 5k car dude motor alone over 5 k
Yep , supercharger not to mention it’s only 50k miles. That books over 10k alone in the books
It's a Whistler.😉
Prob needs buttoned up and tuned. Poss a gear change as well.
Automagic transmission 😁
That is a lot of car for the money
That engine doesn't sound too healthy, even with a Procharger
Why am i broke right now, shit needs to hurry up
You still didn't answer the question Of how to put it back on the street.
It’s not gonna light em up with traction control on 😂
Why is it 10 k for a 5k car
10k in the motor alone
50k Miles alone books out over 10k, why ask pointless questions lol
I have a bone stock 2001 Mustang Bullit with less than 18k miles on it. I love seeing the price go up on these haha
It's worth every penny. Please go buy one with the same mileage, then do what's been done to this one and get back to us with how much you spent. Ignorance costs people a lot of money.

needs a higher stall converter mybe?
Nitrous car that's prob why.
Ah man it's a automatic in a car like that
7gs for the car. hell no its not worth 10k its still a auto. whoever is buying the car for 7k is wild.
What , it’s priced $10,900 with 50k miles and thousands in extras. It will be gone soon
Cool.
So……Does The Horn Work? Seems Like A Racing Street Car! Nick…. You Mentioned it Is Supercharged…….. I Don’t See a Supercharger on The Motor But I Do See A Turbo!
Car blatantly has a Paxton novi supercharger sitting right on the front of it, not a turbo.
I don't think its street if it doesn't have CATS based off the state...
There is no law in TN over that, actually no emissions at all
@ Boy I don’t know I am looking it up and all I see is it against Federal law to remove CC. Don’t get me wrong I would still drive this car but I think Kansas requires CC after a certain year. I am way to pretty to go to jail.....
What’s the horsepower on it?
Nice priced grocery getter. Be back in a jiff, hon.
Thanks, I love these cars 👍
ITS BEEN DETUNED FOR SAFTY
Something is def off about the car.
