Being a Speke lad myself ( Tonys from hunts x ) he speaks like an astronaut that has visited every conceivable planet in the universe and appears bored with life back on earth ….
Fascinating inside stories of the early Beatles, their concerts, friends that I've never heard...I keep waiting for him to finish his beer.He was well connected for sure. What a history teller.
thisismynewname thanks for your comments! Yes he certainly was there and he had some interesting stories! Haha re the beer- he did finish it later and I bought him another!!
Another interesting interview Guy! I'm always interested and fascinated by anything Beatles! I met Alan Williams (The Beatles first manager) in The Grapes pub in Liverpool. Spent the whole afternoon with him and he took us round the places he still owned including The Blue Angel club, where he gave The Beatles to Brian Epstien. I asked him if he could get my band a gig at The Cavern. The gig was arranged and we played there on 8 Dec 1992 and what a fab night it was. Even Bob Wooler (original Cavern DJ) was there! Happy memories and another bucket list accomplishment! 😉 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Thanks for your comments Phillip Green and many congratulations on playing at The Cavern. That's something I'd really like to say that I've done..but haven't of course!! Also interesting to know that you've met Alan Williams, it would be fascinating to know more of those early days! Over to you......
And I was totally kidding about worst interviewer ever. I just found the Brian Springsteen reference hilarious 😂 Otherwise this is the most comprehensive video of Tony I've ever see and I appreciate it very much as huge Beatles fan. Thank you!
Tony Bramwell plowing through his well-honed stories one more time. That,s why he looks bored. As John Lennonon once said,"It ,s got so that every fucker whoever shook our hand writes a book about it".
This guy has an irritating personality, he’s got great history and information, but his mannerisms are hard to watch. Seems to be oblivious to the interviewer, borderline rude.
@@paultaylor4647 Book is entitled "Magical Mystery Tours, My life with the Beatles" 422 pages of it. You're right though, he is a bit boring and comes across as being bored. Watch his hands fiddling on the table. I gave up about 18 minutes into the video as I was losing the will to live.
