I’m twenty years younger than the Beatles and where we lived , our back garden backed onto the McCartneys at western avenue ( I lived in blackrod avenue ) . My grandmother was a friend of Mary McCartney and Paul’s old school Stockton wood was somewhere I would play as it was the back of my house . Hunts cross was quite posh really .
