Young Ale absolutely rips on this bass line. The first time I heard her play it, she was 8!
THE THUNDER GODDESS at 10 years of age!
In a recent interview Dany and Pau both marveled at Ale’s ability to make everything look cool and casual. Even watching this fairly raw example, you can see that she’s always been like that. Ale is in a class by herself.
Chris Wolstenholme is one of the best Rock bassists in the business, so she's walking in the right footsteps.
Chris famously said he dreads playing this song because it’s bloody exhausting. It’s known as the _The Finger Crippler_ for a reason. 🤪
She played the beginning over the top neck of the bass....Bad Ass...!!

Ale was like 8 or 9 when they played this. It was at their private school they went to at the time. They did a concert at like 7 am before school and the whole audience is just the other students from the school. Pretty cool to be a student and get to watch it.
This particular show at Liceo del Monterrey in 2015 had several songs to sort of show off each girl's talents, and this happened to be Ale's time to shine. Her hands were still pretty tiny which was the reason for the half scale bass and the 'over and under' fingering to hit all the notes in that intro. Word has it that she learned this when she was 9 years old to challenge herself.. yeah, challenge herself!! At 9 I think I was still working on riding a regular bicycle without crashing into shit.🤣 This, (besides their performance at TedX) was what originally got me hooked on The Warning.😉 🤘😎🤘 *P.S.* You could already see the 'Ale Dance' starting to materialize in this performance!😍 *EDIT:* I found out recently that Ale's 'over & under' style was actually her showing off! How many 10 year old's do you know of that can nail this bass line and actually have time to show off a bit?!!🤔😳
That was awesome! I was in a cover band and this was one of our signature songs. It was always nerve-wracking going in to this because there was so much that could go wrong, it’s an incredibly intricate song. These guys pulled it off beautifully.
It means a lot to us the hear that praise from someone who has had to perform that piece. I know it is tough but to get the confirmation from someone that played it I am thankful for your feedback. I love these ladies and consider this performance as Ale's coming out party as the Goddess of the Bass!!!

Another good video to react to. I love The Warning, not just because they're amazing, but they're becoming amazing like models at such a young age to the younger generation that girls can rock too. I hope they inspire more kids to pick up an instrument and follow their dreams. 🤘🤘

@@Wolfonfire69 I think if they had done other performances at their school, there would certainly be videos. I believe this is The Warning's only performance at their school. Prior to this, the girls did perform together at their school at a Christmas fest, where Ale was 7, Pau was 10, and Dany was 12. That was before they were The Warning.

This was an early morning assembly at their all girls school in Monterrey, MX.
Love the reaction. While I love the passion Dani put into the singing of this this song, this is all Ale's. As far as I am concerned this is Ale's coming out party as The Goddess on the Bass!! I cannot get enough of this. I have watched this video probably 10 times now and will watch at least another 10 times! Thank you again for making me smile with your positive and fun reactions.

Thanks for the bday wishes. I don't know how long your live stream lasted but the "we're going live in 30 minutes maybe" video was an hour old when I found it so I didn't bother. I hoe the stream went great and album sales are through the roof.
Little Ale, who is now tall Ale was really good at that age. People saw the other 2 as the power but Ale was smokin on the bass.

The Warning girls are very talented especially when you consider their ages here. Little Ale is only 10 here and she absolutely nails the not so easy bass line. Her hands and fingers are so small she has to use both sides of the fret board. She learnt this at 8(there’s a clip of her practising it and she doesn’t even look like she’s concentrating). Both Pau and Dani were very mature in this performance.
Check out Pau’s drumming of Foo Fighters Everlong. It’s fast and needs pin point fills and really good hi hat work. It’s a good effort considering she’s only 13. Dani is 15 here.
They’ve all developed a lot since then of course (6 years ago here) with Ale going from the smallest to the tallest at 16.
With professional tuition,they can take their music to the next level.
Ale slapping the bass,Pau varying her fills and Dani finessing the solos.
Better marketing with a good label be even better. An extra guitarist would fill their songs to give their material the extra element. Add some creativity and diversity and there’s the potential to match other all female bands.
Might need additional song writers too for variance. They’re still only 16.19 and 21 so they have a lot of time to finesse the skills and ability. Wish them luck.

The bass girl has incredible potential, the fact the instrument is almost as big as her is even more impressive- the whole family are super seriously inspiring- I played drums and this track takes physical effort
