Young Alejandra tearing up a monster bass line! I have never seen a ten year old show this kind of confidence on stage. She is playing a 3/4 scale, which is as big as she is, and is nailing it! Even at this age, The Warning have a world class rhythm section.

Hi, De Luca. Thanks for accepting my suggestion about The Warning. They are three sisters from Mexico, and now they don´t play much covers anymore. They have already one EP and two albums of their original music and are preparing a third one. They are going to tour the U.S. next March and April.
I will suggest you hear now the song “Dust to Dust”, wich starts their second álbum “Queen of the murder scene”. This is a concept album, and this song is the prolog of a aunting story told in all the 13 songs, like a book or a rock opera!
“Dust to Dust” was written by the bass player Alejandra, and is the first song I have heard from them, and hooked me for life! I leave a link to that song, wich have a playlist of the remaining songs, in the correct order, in case you want to listen to the all story.

Muse was/is one of young Alejandra’s favorite bands. They are also a trio, that has several songs with killer bass runs. The Warning even at this young age, knew how to put on a show. To see them live, now, is to have a musical life experience. They are devastatingly good on stage-one of the few bands that are better as a live act, than in the studio (and they are very, very good in the studio). Their recorded music has yet to capture the energy on display live.

It looks (at this time) like you might be prescreening your comments, but great reaction, man! That bass player was nine years old in that performance. She is now 15, and is a Spector Bass Featured Artist on their website. She is very focused. There is a video of the band practicing the instrumentals for that when she was still eight. Very focused, very talented. They are sisters. That's mainly why they are so locked in!

The drummer, Paulina, is also a showman. In this same concert she wanted to play a song that showed off her skills. So they worked up a cover, of Everlong, by the Foo Fighters. At this time The Warning only had one EP of original music, so covers were still a thing for them on stage. Now with two full albums, and the EP, covers are an extreme rarity. Anyway, I think you will dig this one, as it has a drum cam focussing on Paulina, or Pau as she likes to be called. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️

This was five year ago here Ale is now 15yo. If you think you are impressed with here back then listen to this. These young ladies are sister Ale (15) on the bass being the youngest she also does vocals. Dany (20) lead singer and vocals, and Pau (pronounce pow) (18) Drummer, vocals.
This song is an original song Ale has first music credit for creating the bass line for this song. And yes I am one many enthusiastic fans of The Warning.
It's called Dust to Dust, it from their Foro DiDi concert in Monterrey, Mexico on June 14,2019. Ale was only 14 then.

It's June 30, 2024, and The Warning just dropped their FOURTH album two days ago. A lot of people said they couldn't possibly do what they're doing as three sisters from Mexico. Well, they just gave the big middle finger to their critics. It's a music video called, *Six Feet Deep,* and as its name suggests, it's a killer. Check it out on their channel. Ale is now the tallest member of the band. Pau is Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, and Modern Drummer's Up and Coming Drummer of the Year 2023. Thanks for posting this four years ago!

  • @TheUnderdogDe
    @TheUnderdogDe 4 года назад +6

What I especially like about the Foro Didi performance ( _suggested by Bradley Popoff below_ ) is that it's easier to hear Ale's bass in the background and the footage is top-notch as well as the sound and video quality.
If possible he should include the two first songs because of the intense drumming at the end of the second song. Pau ( _Pow_ ) does not *play* the drums. She *BEATS* them into submission. 🤣

Great band, you should listen to their more recent original work. Their album Queen of the Murder Scene is epic. From the opening jaw dropping bass line of Dust to Dust to the tear inducing heart-wrenching ballad of The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade) there is something in this album for every rock fan.
It's a concept album that tells a story of longing, regret, self-loathing and follows a woman into full on psychosis. It's a musical journey delivered by 3 prodigies. Give it a listen in order
As for other bands two I would suggest are BabyMetal and their song Road of Resistance Live in Japan and a more old school hard rock band is Band Maid and their song Thrill.

  • @MaddogJones
    @MaddogJones 4 года назад +2

The Warning started making music very young Paulina and Alejandra at 3 and Dany 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2013 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 20 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!. Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston.
After completing Berklee The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 st Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ruclips.net/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/видео.html
    .
The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So now you've been WARNED! I hope you will check out more of their music and see how they have grown. Here is a recommended viewing list to see their evolution:
    Enter Sandman - Metallica (cover song) - ruclips.net/video/1boUYB9LFJY/видео.html 2014
Exterminated (original song from XXI Century Blood) - ruclips.net/video/Bf1f_wsmnkM/видео.html 2015

Thanks DeLuca Bass for your reaction to this fantastic band of three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico known as The Warning! They have grown both physically and musically since this video was released a few years ago. The bass player Ale is now 15 years old, Pau the drummer is 18, and Dani the guitarist is 20. They are an independent band and have released an EP and two full length albums in the interim through the support of their fan base on Patreon and Kickstarter. They have initiated a North American tour that will commence in March and April of 2020. In addition, they will be releasing a new album sometime later this year. Yes they are all talented individually, but I believe the band is greater than the sum of it's parts. Being sisters helps, of course, but they just have that extra something. They really mean well. Watching one of them take over the vocals when the singer needs a break due to voice health or tech issues of watching them power through those tech issues with calm when a mic or instruments fails is inspirational.

Congratulations on stumbling on to the best new band I've seen in the last 30 years, The Warning!
This was recorded 5 years ago when these three sisters were 15, 13 and 10 years old. The Bass player, Alejandra (Ale) is now 15 and at 13 she became the youngest Spector Bass factory artist EVER, and is featured on their site!
Now, 5 years later, these sisters from Monterrey, Mexico, have an EP and 2 full albums of original music (all in English), and not one bad song in the bunch. They are simply amazing, and you should do yourself a favor and check out more of their more recent original music.
If you like bass, here is the first track off their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene", written by Ale when she was 13, and it's called Dust To Dust and has a great bass line. ruclips.net/video/TeIbG8nkOiU/видео.html

Locked in... solid... all that and much more!😁 The Warning has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 5 years, and that next song on the ending screen (Dust to Dust) would be the perfect follow-up to show you *JUST* how far they have come! They are currently doing their North American Tour and may show up in a city near you. Incidentally, Alejandra's 'over and under' bass style was partially because, at the time, the bass was bigger than she was, and she had trouble wrapping her little hands around the neck to hit the lower notes, so she adapted like this. Now... she's taller than both her other sisters and absolutely rocks the stage with a full-size custom Spector bass.😮😉 Paulina, aka 'The Shredder', is one of the top rock drummers out there, and her style is reminiscent of the greats like Neil Peart, John Bonham, and Dave Grohl. Daniela, now just turned 20 years old, is an amazing lead singer and guitarist, and is sort of the 'front lady' for the band. Believe me, you've just scratched the surface of what these gals are capable of. They now have 2 full albums, an EP (from several years ago), and a rockin' single in Spanish called Narcisista.
These young gals are the new face of rock music for the 2020's, and they are completely fan-funded, and now do mainly all their own songs. Welcome to the *WARNING ARMY* DeLuca. Strap in and enjoy the ride!! 😍 🤘😎🤘

Yeah, checkout the link suggested by Bradley Popoff. They were good when the Muse cover was recorded, especially for kids, but now they write their own stuff and play with real authority.

Finally some love for the youngest of the three sisters, Ale!
She was 10 in that video. Hard to believe.
Watch the Dust to Dust the others mentioned or go to PSYCHOTIC which has one of their hardest bass lines of their originals:

Yes they are sisters. Newer music will show that they have grown exponentially. Here is something more recent ruclips.net/video/crFCPIoMQM8/видео.html . The whole band is really some of the best musicians out there and they are completely crowd funded. Even though none of the people surrounding them are necessarily experienced in the music industry they have managed to build a very passionate fan base as you're about to find out . Great review. Subscribed liked.
