Years ago I started a join as you go hexie blanket. I lost my printed instructions and couldn't find the pattern again on the net so it has sat in my cupboard unfinished all these years. Now, with your expert tuition I will be able to finish this blanket off. Thanks for this Robin.
This is so beautiful and your color selections remind me of spring flowers. Your instructions, both spoken and demonstrated, are so clear! I really appreciate these two videos! Just lovely!
I'm watching from down under Australia and I just found your channel and I loved it. You have taught me how to do my first popcorn granny square. Also your patterns are fantastic I can actually understand it!! Thank You so much! I am now going to watch sum more of your channel. Love your work.
Your videos are so well done! You have inspired me to start crocheting again! I forgot how much I loved it until I stumbled upon your videos! Thank you so much!!
Great video Robin thankyou. Started the hexagons and loving it. Eagerly waited to see the half hexagons done so I could continue along with this pretty pattern. You make it so easy and clear for us to follow. 🌝
Love it! I have never seen anything like this before! Amazing! I really enjoy your videos. You are pleasant speaking and explain everything very well. Excellent! God bless! 🧶😊
Thanks so much for this! I made a hexagon blanket last year...but struggled with no the half hexagons to finish it off. This is a very easy to follow tutorial...as usual.
I love your tutorials. I am the type person who learns by watching…I have learned more from your videos then trying to read a pattern. Can you demonstrate filling in the edge with the Ch18 stitch - the one made by Anita uses in her written pattern 😊
I made valences for my craft room using hexies, but I left the “holes” between them. Being in a craft room, the irregular look works, but I can see how using the halves would finish a blanket beautifully. I have never seen using a slip knot to join colors, but it seems to work well. I will definitely give it a try.
@@HookedbyRobin yes I am in the process of making the blanket now. Made 13 hexagons so far and just made a half one but yet to join it on. Thanks again for the tutorial it is awesome, xx
Thank you Amanda, Anita should have a full written pattern including the border on her website soon but I am not filming any other parts of her blanket. I hope that helps.😃🧶
Thank you for your tutorial on yhe hexagon. I have always wanted to try this. Your tutorial is so clear and easy to follow, but I would like to know more about the neutering side of this. Mine lands up being lumpy. Thanks again
Hi Robin, thanks much for this tutorial, i have completed full hexagon blanket and will be doing the half hexagon tomorrow, am really loving it a lot 👌 Please Robin can you tell me what short of a border will look nice on this blanket thank you ❤ I have used all the colours from my stash and it’s very colourful, i will put the blanket on your instagram very soon 🤗🙌🙏🏻
Newbie question! Why in this one you fasten off the yarn, but when you change color in the log cabin granny stitch blanket you don't pull the ends of the yarn through? 🤔
Great question! I was following Anita's pattern faithfully so the video would match her written pattern - normally I personally change colour how I did in the Log Cabin blanket but there is no right or wrong way as such, just different methods! You can chop and change between the 2 depending on what you fancy really 😀🧶
Hi Kathlene, Anita has this post about the border on her blog: madebyanita.co.uk/blog/vintage-hexies-part-3 I didn’t and won’t be filming a video for the border but Anita’s blog is fantastic.😃🧶
