Refs were deplorable in Fiesta Bowl. 3 calls stood out. TCU was flagged for "roughing QB"...bad call, but not reviewable. Real time I yelled "helmet2helmet" on UMs last play...and was pleasantly surprised when the refs went to replay. The announcer even said that this meets the definition of "targeting". Wrong call. But the worst call was on the TD, clearly he double clutched,and not only should it have stood, I would lean to TD confirmed. Then they mark it 16" back. What a pity that refs decided that game.

Has anyone commented on the spot of the ball when Stroud scrambled to the 30? They marked it past the 31 going back to the 32. I have replayed and he landed down on the 30 and worst case the ball was "dead" between the 30 andv31. Terrible placement by ref, a full yard short.

As a buckeye fan I’m a little hurt but man I was at the game and I can honestly say for this to be the first ever college football game I ever been to, this has to be the best game I’ve ever seen and I am truly grateful to be in attendance.

Let me just say, I'm a HUGE, HUGE Buckeye fan since I was very young and this was one of the all-time great games in college football history, despite the loss. A team that was suppose to get stomped rose up and played an outstanding game! Congrats to GA on winning the national title!!
This was a great game, unreal how closely matched these two teams are. This may have been the best college game I've seen since Texas vs USC in 2006. Marvin Harrison Jr. is one heck of a football player!

For some of these guys it’s about looking great to get drafted and then you hope to see them do well in later years. For other guys it’s the highest level their careers will reach so their fighting with their whole lives to go out on top. All makes for crazy great games!

Even with those ints, all 4 teams still had over 450 yards of offense, 20 first downs, and 40 points...they did whatever they wanted. Unless they were dumb enough to throw it directly to the other team (lookin at you Bennett, that first half int was gross LOL) That's bad defense guy... The games were still entertaining. I'm just saying, dude does have a point...there wasn't any good defense being played. It was all about the offenses'.

Ohio State's QB and WR communication are incredible. I've never seen such flawless communication in a game before. These are talented athletes. Georgia is just hard-charging, up-the-cut, in-your-face, behemoths they're an impressive team to watch.
It was great but LSU 2019 and BAMA 2020 flawless as well but Ohio St laid it out there in this one if Georgia had a bad day I think Ohio St caused the bad day and I was for Georgia.

After watching the TCU-Michigan game, I was wondering how this game would follow. This one was just as good if not better. Most fun I have had watching football this season.

As a fellow lifelong buckeye fan.. I can’t help but feel a little shame at this loss. We gave up a 14 point lead TWICE and once in the 4th quarter.. the play calling the second half was horrible and Day seemed determined to do everything possible to make that kick for Noah as difficult for him as he could.. that kick could’ve been a hundred times easier. Yeah.. we made it a good game.. but we should’ve won this game :-(

I'm proud of Ohio State as well they played their hearts out unfortunately I wasn't able to see Ohio State beat Georgia for the first time in mark it off my bucket list but God has told me that there will be more chances for that in the future eventually I'll get to mark it off my bucket list we got a good defensive coach in Jim Knowles hopefully Stroud will have another chance of a championship next season if he stays and doesn't go pro

My grandpa last year was able to finally see Georgia win a natty after so long. The next day he died, we don’t know the reason but most likely cardiac arrest. So today I hope the dawgs can do it again, this time for Pops.

@H C Its the CFP, these teams are here for high powered offenses. Look at 2014-2020 Iowa and USC. Easily the best defenses in CFB but no play off appearances
What a game. OMG. When Buckeyes went up 35-24 I went ahead and started making my peace with the fact my Dawgs were probably going to lose. What an amazing comeback out scored the Buckeyes 18-3 in the 4th. Neither of the teams have anything to be ashamed of. I'm so happy we won and I honestly feel horrible for Stroud and the Kicker. Northern state teams always have to go down and usually play at the apposing teams backyard or a neighbors. I was glad to see Michigan and TCU play in a generally neutral state and TCU winning legitimately. But Alabama, Georgia, USC, and more tend to always play at home or nearby. The NCAA know this is dirty and arrogant, but that is what they are proud of. The media and likely northern universities are being paid to not make an issue out of it. "Cry me a river" and other such dimwitted statements the stupid masses would say, but the end results would without fail change if bowls were played in neutral zones (apart from a few lesser bowls).

At 2:26 Keely Ringo blitzes Stroud, he's nearly five yards behind the line of scrimmage when Stroud releases the ball. At 2:35 he strips Harrison. Helluva play young man!
At 2:26 2nd and 6, Ga had 2 timeouts left, IMO Ohio state had 3 downs to make 6 yards to run out the clock. It’s hard to imagine the OSU coach does not run the ball to shorten the game or to even close it out!
As a life long Georgia fan and being born and raised in Georgia this is a football game I’ll tell my grandchildren about this was one for the history books
This is such a heartbreak as a Buckeyes fan yet still such a good feeling that they were right there - challenged the reigning national champions to the very end after the entire team was left for dead for 5 weeks. What a game.

Obviously heartbroken after that missed field goal (really feel for our kicker, glad that our team had his back) but what a game! I'm going to be honest, I expected us to get pummeled by UGA, but we played our hearts out and almost clinched the win! Our offense is elite, the best in the nation, and no one can say we didn't deserve to be there. Congrats to UGA and good luck in the natty!
OL held its own to allow Stroud enough time to find his receivers. I only wish that OSU had managed to gain another 5-10 yards before the FG attempt. A 50-yarder is not automatic for a nervous collegiate placekicker.
I have a problem with strength of scheduling.....some teams play very weak teams. But, then play strong in the play offs. Amazing.....but if they actually played harder teams during the year like some teams, they maybe wouldn't be there LIKE OTHERS.

And you play smaller schools to give them funding so they can have better facilities and all that good stuff. Most teams play at least 2 teams a year that have no shot. One team that NEVER deserves to go again though, is Notre Dame. Not until they actually play somebody, bc it's been UGLY the last few times they've been "good"

As a buckeye fan I’m a little hurt but man I was at the game and I can honestly say for this to be the first ever college football game I ever been to, this has to be the best game I’ve ever seen and I am truly grateful to be in attendance.

Ohio State's QB and WR communication are incredible. I've never seen such flawless communication in a game before. These are talented athletes. Georgia is just hard-charging, up-the-cut, in-your-face, behemoths they're an impressive team to watch.

As a fellow lifelong buckeye fan.. I can’t help but feel a little shame at this loss. We gave up a 14 point lead TWICE and once in the 4th quarter.. the play calling the second half was horrible and Day seemed determined to do everything possible to make that kick for Noah as difficult for him as he could.. that kick could’ve been a hundred times easier. Yeah.. we made it a good game.. but we should’ve won this game :-(

What a game. OMG. When Buckeyes went up 35-24 I went ahead and started making my peace with the fact my Dawgs were probably going to lose. What an amazing comeback out scored the Buckeyes 18-3 in the 4th. Neither of the teams have anything to be ashamed of. I'm so happy we won and I honestly feel horrible for Stroud and the Kicker. Northern state teams always have to go down and usually play at the apposing teams backyard or a neighbors. I was glad to see Michigan and TCU play in a generally neutral state and TCU winning legitimately. But Alabama, Georgia, USC, and more tend to always play at home or nearby. The NCAA know this is dirty and arrogant, but that is what they are proud of. The media and likely northern universities are being paid to not make an issue out of it. "Cry me a river" and other such dimwitted statements the stupid masses would say, but the end results would without fail change if bowls were played in neutral zones (apart from a few lesser bowls).

Former Georgia resident. Current parent of a UGA freshman and Bulldog fan. When the Buckeyes had the early lead and then again at 34, I was resigned to a possible loss for the Dawgs but they did what they do best, never say die. What a game!!! Both teams brought their best. Incredible college football today.
Congratulations! On the Incredible Win by Georgia! Both schools probably caused a lot of fans,and alumni blood pressure too rise several points😳.Even if they didn't have HBP.This wild, and exciting game gave it too them anyway.😂 I know the feeling from the Rose Bowl on January 4,2006.A Texas Longhorns Fan since '98.I was pacing my living room floor, fingers crossed, breathing heavily vs the vaunted,high scoring, USC Trojans.That final drive for Texas,and Vince Young dashing too the end zone..wooo! I just fell too my knees..saying HE DID IT! HE DID IT! Then had to watch that nerve racking, agonizing, final drive and pass by Matt Leinart fall incomplete.GO GEORGIA.I don't want TC-Boo! oops! I mean,TCU to win a National Championship,no I want it to be Texas as the last Big-12 School to win a National Title in football.🤘🏈🤘🇨🇱 Thank You! See the Dawgs! in 2024,or 2025 in The NFL minor league aka The SEC.Please! take it easy on us.We are still reeling,and trying to figure out how to beat Iowa State.☹️😡

Ohio State is a force, they brought it all to the game and had a chance to the bitter end. This Georgia fan has much respect for the Buckeyes. They really had us beat and if not for the bad luck on the final field goal attempt they win. My hat is off to them, they have a great team.
A chance to the very end? Seriously, they led the entire game, up by 2 touchdowns , only to lose on the last play of the game! Go Bucks!

First time I've seen the OSU vs Georgia highlights. Wow! What an intense game.
Shout out To OSU for a great game. Had me on the edge of my seat. As a Georgia Fan, Im proud of the resiliency of our squad because we were in a big hole in the second half. CJ Stroud is the real deal. He gave our Defense fits tonight but them dawgs Got the W. Stetson came in clutch and we squeaked out a W in an instant classic. Moving on to TCU, we cannot underestimate their firepower. We gotta be better defensively and just get back to playing smash-mouth Georgia Football. Not our best game tonight but I was thoroughly entertained. Prayers up to the players that were hurt. Hopefully they heal up. Prayers to the OSU TE who was sent to the hospital. Praying that he is alright.

As Auburn fan I think If we recruit Georgia showed we aren't far away we just gotta recruit top 10 because Kirby had good timeout but that defense shouldn't have gotten gashed like that will all that defensive talent
An instant classic. What a game and no excuses from either side. Both sides had VERY important injuries. Both sides left it all out on the field. Glad my dawgs got the dub. Hats off to OSU what a game from them. This is why CFB far surpasses almost any other sport (except maybe World Cup soccer). The energy and passion is UNMATCHED
College football and college basketball are the best and most passionate sports! The only reason soccer is so popular in other countries is because they haven’t experienced American football.

@CDP I definitely am. Was a heck of a game, coming from a lifelong UGA fan. I feel horrible for the kicker. That was potentially the most important kick of his career and his nerves got the best of him.

We have witnessed some amazing games this weekend, college football at its best.
Been a buckeye since the day i was born, this is the only game that we lost that i will watch on repeat. Such a great team, great game, one kick… and it didnt go. Stilll so happy to be a fan of these guys
Insane game, as an Ohio State fan i was genuinely worried going into this game hoping we didn't get blown out, our defense is just awful, but this game was incredible. Obviously would've loved the win, but I'm proud at the heart Ohio State showed even tho they made some costly mistakes in the end. GG Georgia

I was a born a bulldog fan learned to be an Ohio state fan because my dad graduated there. Today was hard but an absolutely insane game.

At 2:26 Keely Ringo blitzes Stroud, he's nearly five yards behind the line of scrimmage when Stroud releases the ball. At 2:35 he strips Harrison. Helluva play young man!
At 2:26 2nd and 6, Ga had 2 timeouts left, IMO Ohio state had 3 downs to make 6 yards to run out the clock. It’s hard to imagine the OSU coach does not run the ball to shorten the game or to even close it out!
As a life long Georgia fan and being born and raised in Georgia this is a football game I’ll tell my grandchildren about this was one for the history books
This is such a heartbreak as a Buckeyes fan yet still such a good feeling that they were right there - challenged the reigning national champions to the very end after the entire team was left for dead for 5 weeks. What a game.
I’m an avid Dawgs fan. You should feel no shame. Play that game 10 times and Ohio State may very well win 6. Great game. Great matchup. Much respect to Ohio State!

Obviously heartbroken after that missed field goal (really feel for our kicker, glad that our team had his back) but what a game! I'm going to be honest, I expected us to get pummeled by UGA, but we played our hearts out and almost clinched the win! Our offense is elite, the best in the nation, and no one can say we didn't deserve to be there.

I only wish that OSU had managed to gain another 5-10 yards before the FG attempt. A 50-yarder is not automatic for a nervous collegiate placekicker.

What an incredible set of playoff games
After those 2 semi final games I'd say they picked the 4 best teams. College football at it's best.
I have a problem with strength of scheduling.....some teams play very weak teams. But, then play strong in the play offs. Amazing.....but if they actually played harder teams during the year like some teams, they maybe wouldn't be there LIKE OTHERS.
@@billbobagginsbonham9239 possibly, but they can't all help that their conference could have weak teams that season or just recently. And you play smaller schools to give them funding so they can have better facilities and all that good stuff. Most teams play at least 2 teams a year that have no shot. One team that NEVER deserves to go again though, is Notre Dame. Not until they actually play somebody, bc it's been UGLY the last few times they've been "good"
From what I saw, I still think tcu should be 5th. I feel like Alabama could beat tsu, if they actually did good like against Kansas st
@@randomaccount4950 I would have made the seedings 1-Georgia, 2-Ohio St, 3-Alabama, 4-Michigan, based purely on how good the teams actually are. But I understand that the CFP committee had to look at losses during the season.
