I have both cameras and recently took them to Yellowstone national park. The image quality of the OneRS 1” is definitively better than the X3. I post process the videos using Topaz Video AI and view them in my Meta Quest 3. When viewed like this, there is really a noticeable difference in how sharp and clean the videos are. The OneRS1” has very little noise in the image. Still waiting for a consumer grade 360 camera that shoots in 8k, you really need that level of resolution for a better experience with VR goggles.
Great video Keep up the good work you got some amazing footage out of each camera I have X3 haven’t been using it much here lately but I’m looking forward to using it more in the future…
Rob, great comparison. I selected the One RS 1” for the 1” sensor and improved low light. Have the GoPro for water use. One thing I notice on both the X3 and One RS 1” is even when you edit to a linear shot, you still get some fisheye on the edges. Do you experience the same in linear? Thanks
You can remove this in the studio app tho with the settings applied to the key frames. But it also comes down to how you angle in post vs how you hold it when used
Are you comfortable with the selfie stick compared to the x3? The X1 weighs more and I was wondering if there might be some flexing problems due to the greater weight. Thanks. Good job
Great video. I have a OneX and am considering upgrading but I'd like to compare my video quality to the one inch. Any chance you could put 10 seconds unedited ungraded full 360 clip from the one inch for me/viewers to download? Thanks
I have the same camera but when it is very sunny the image is completely burnt out. I have to increase the shutter speed to the maximum (and sometimes it's not even enough) because I can't find an nd filter for this camera. What do you usually do to record in very bright conditions?
Here’s the travel tips: ruclips.net/video/2V8rw8le6so/видео.htmlsi=gFwnYHRqBcKVSdP7 I also have a brand new set of cheat sheets which also works with the one rs you can check my latest upload 😊
does this mean I can use the OneRS 1-inch in rain condition since it has "resistant"? I also has dji pocket 2 but I kinda regret not buying 360 for my study abroad experience, so I wanted to buy one now but for mountain hiking! so which one suit better?
Yeah I JUST snagged an open box on the RS 1 inch for 700. Going to Utah for an offroad shoot and wanted that extra ooomph for the scenery but I do have the x3 and use that for the “fun” shots like water slides , diving materials but for scenic and beauty shots and low light scenic interviews def go with the 1 inch. Thing I’m torn on is the whole protective lens covers. The ones I’ve got scratch too easy and fog up and just create more problems than help. Anyone have luck with screen guards because I haven’t.
is the 1 inch sensor got lens protection by default? not talking about additional lens cover from 3rd party company you can get in amazon or elsewhere but out of from the box does it comes with lens protection ?
hello guys. i would like to purchase either the X3, or the 1-Inch360. the main uses for me are shooting videos on the motorcycle and doing 360 panoramic photos. i am not an "action" type of guy, where there is a bunch of water involved, or some other dangers to the camera. so which one would you recommend? also in this video i am missing a comparison between photos of the two cameras!
That depends on what you want tho. 2 completely different devices. I would say everything is better on the One Rs, except image quality. And you have endless options of framing

I bought both of them. One is for action and the other is for quality content 😊

does the 1 inch ever make you want to sell the x3?
@@A1Bokeh Not really because I can use the X3 in harsh conditions and underwater
@@stevencarey5407 would you say there's a big difference in the quality
@@A1Bokeh Yes, I notice it more when viewing the videos in the Meta Quest 3 goggles. If you view on a flat screen the difference is not as noticeable.
Congrats it's now called the Insta360 X4 😂

The 3m pole is high quality, so there´s no issues even when flexing a bit 👍

Great timing on this video I just reactivated my love for little pocket cams and was wondering about the 1 inch i currently have the x3
Thanks man🙌😀
What we need is a new X3 (X4?) with a 1 inch sensor asap.
That would be nice indeed!😎
How did you get such clean crisp footage? I find mine to be not near as good. I assume you edit on the desktop app or the mobile?
Which of them?😅
@@RobHK the one inch, mine comes out looking like 480p footage. Curious what settings you'd suggest to use?

Unfortunately no😬

Hmm, im a huge fan of 360 cameras tho. So id probably say one rs, but pocket 3 with the mic 2 is a more convenient setup if you gonna be talking a lot
@@RobHK thank you so much...I would rather prefer pocket 3 then.
