    I absolutely love this truck. The small fuel tank I think is a fine way to balance out the sheer power and speed this thing brings to the table. Love using it as a rescue truck since it can get to most places very quickly

    I only started using high range in Ontario. Wanted to see what it was all about and boy was I impressed. Then I bought this guy and put it to work. Along with the Navistar, this guy was great at hauling water tankers as well as some of the other cargo. It was able to get to the drop off and back on a single tank, barely but it made it. That's all I could ask for. Since those missions were a bit repetitive you definitely wanted to get them done fast and those two trucks sure made it quick. Not to mention the added rush of taking corners at a blinding pace as everything blurs by.

    I love this truck for its speed, but I hate the minicrane position in the middle, making it incompatible with trailers when crane and bed are installed. Too prone to taking suspension damage as well, which makes it's hard to drive recklessly smashing through everything with armored engine bay, as I hope it will do.

    Another great review! I bought this truck for Imandra and it performed well, but when I heard if how frustrating and hard Amur is, I sold it (thinking it wasn't going to perform well) and bought myself the Azov 64131. Well, now I am starting to regret it as it is really fun to drive and one of my favorite trucks too, so now I have to ask you: Do you think this truck performs better in the Kola Peninsula or Amur region?

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  2 года назад

      Thats a great question, I can tell you performance wise its going to be good on both maps. The 5319 is an animal, but it needs fed. Its range is the struggle in Amur and Kola. You might get a few high centers every now and then, but that should be expected, yet less in occurance than the 64131. In short, I think the 5319 stays viable in both regions.

    I'm level 27 and I waited and toughed it out without buying any Azov trucks or anything else from the major plus hauling trucks list. I'm excited to use it I've seen it on videos but it seems to be overshadowed by the kolobs and others lol I knew this truck was a stallion in the shadows. I'll figure out the gas trucks for it but I'm definitely using it for end game and the hard ridiculous ice snow maps.

    Honestly, the only downside about this truck is the slow-turning and turning radius. Sure, it has a thirsty engine and a small tank, but the off-road capability and its speed more than makes up for it, the difference between burning 5 gallon per minute but make it to the destination in 2, or 2 gallons per minute but make it in 5...
    Another potential downside is it doesn't have access to MSH II....

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  2 года назад

      You have some great points and I agree with you somewhat. I do believe it has more downsides than one, but ya for sure it will make it places fast. The thing is our most recent 2 maps have all been slow moving maps. The days of fast travel and blazing through terrain seems to be less and less. Id rather burn less fuel being in a slow going place or stuck (Which burns more fuel due to engine stress) than a truck that has low capacity and economy in those conditions.
      The Azov can equip the MSH it has MHS I which have been tested by a trusted custom tester I know and he has found that the MHS I are show better performance despite ratings on map runner.

      That’s its main weakness is its endurance. Being on hardmode and using this takes some bravery although it can be done if you set up your fuel

    First time trying this truck and feel like it's saves a lot of patience XD. I guess devs don't want people to have a perfect truck so making the tank small while the truck is thirsty LOL

  • @jgxvx
    @jgxvx Год назад

    I haven't found a good use for this one yet. I really want to like it, because it's fast, looks great and supports a wide variety of frame add-ons. But it just stops dead at the slightest sight of snow or mud. Wheels spinning, not moving a bit. Perhaps I have a bad combination of engine, transmission and tires installed on it. I don't know. So far, the only real use I can see for this truck is as a mobile fuel or repair station along a main road.

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Год назад +1

      Well any truck is going to downshift when it hits some type of resistance that’s why I recommend running high gear in either gearbox based on your play style. From all the feedback from others, and my own testing this Azov has some of the best performance for an 8x8 in the game. It’s just thirsty and has a small fuel tank which makes it tough to use for long hauls, but trust me it’s made for off-roading. Definitely give this one another shot.

    • @jgxvx
      @jgxvx Год назад

      @@NProvince Thank you for replying! I will definitely try it again with different setups and also in different terrains. I trust your opinion, if you say it's good I'm sure it is. I always use L+ when approaching deep mud or snow and shift to L if there's too much spinning. And then throwing it into high gear once the traction gets better, it's the best feeling in this game!

    • @NProvince
      @NProvince  Год назад +1

      Anytime! I like interacting and helping if I can. So another thing I would try are the OHS2 on this truck as well. There’s a whole long explanation for this but in short they bite better than the MHS1. Here’s the main issue with the Azovs is they only have the MHS1 option and they are prone to getting bogged down because of their ground clearance.

    • @jgxvx
      @jgxvx Год назад

      @@NProvince Coming back to say thank you for recommending the OHS tires. That really did help a lot! That said, I still think this truck is kinda meh for off-roading and reading through some of the comments I wonder if we're even playing the same game. 😂 It struggles too much in difficult terrain and its abysmal turning radius and teeny tiny fuel tank aren't helping either. I do however choose it quite a lot for smaller deliveries with the sideboard bed when I know it's only going to see light off-road terrain. It's great for that because it's so fast. Unless you get a little too excited and end up on your side. 😅

    Raised suspension isn't always good. Look at the Western Star Twin Steer, the raised suspension lifts it up way to. Stick the 63" tires on it then raising it even more and the truck becomes tippy as all hell.
    I tried various setups on it, raised with 63's, raised with 55's. But to be honest my favourite is stock suspension + 55" duals (OHD I). Truck still goes though anything, it's as fast if you had 63's but still plenty fast enough, and the stock suspension is just so much more unbelievably stable then the lift. The TS can go places on stock it would never hope to get to with the lift because the lift is to unstable. It really is night and day.
    The Paystar (regular one) is also another truck that's better left on stock then it is raised.
    Same applies to the ANK to, although the ANK has a active option as of Phase 3. So you can keep it lowered and only lift it when you need it lifted.
    As for tires I usually run Offroad OHD I or UOD II since they are rated a 1.9 in mud, they are basically a mud tire. For context the most common mud tire, the MHS I is only rated a 2.0. MHS I is the tire you find on the Avoz's, TATRA's, vehicles like Derry 45, a lot of regular trucks with mudtires, etc. Now some trucks do have tires with a higher rating. But the MHS I is by far the most common used mud tire. And for a mud rating difference of 0.1, I'd much rather the stability of duals if they are a option.
    This is why when people talk about most American trucksnot having mudtires, I tell them to use OHD I or UOD II. Because even though they are technically classed as offroad, I mean really 1.9, a difference from the MHS I of 0.1. Come on lets be real, those "Offroad" tires are really mud tires.
    Really I don't know why Sabre don't just buff those two tire sets to a 2.0 and just put them in the Mudtires class officially. What's the point in having a Offroad tire with a mud rating so high, that it just barely classifies as a Offroad tire at all? And imagine how many people don't realise the mud rating for OHD I and UOD II are so high. I bet there are a lot of people who looks at a truck like lets just take the Royal, goes "Well this doesn't have mudtires" and then just sells it, not realising that the UOD II for all intents and purposes ARE mudtires.
    It's clear up a lot of confusion if Sabre just gave them a 0.1 mud buff and made them a Mudtire. It'd get rid of this unfair stigma American trucks have of "not having any mudtires"
