What I absolutely love about Ymfah's videos is the quick way he gets jokes out (Mitten Squad is pretty decent at that as well.) There are multiple challenge runners who are either dry as rice cakes or go on obnoxiously long rant style jokes which I utterly despise. I've rewatched BL4 so many times because of just how both great Ymfah is as a player and for how hilariously the Ludwig and Orphan fights were edited.

@@9024tobi I'm not sure if you missed it, but the "new game plus" hack was actually one of the less awful things people can do. I always like to imagine all the characters who beat these games talking to each other, because they all exist in different universes and whatnot. They'll ask each other shit like "how did you beat the Lord of Cinder/Elden lord/Whatever" and this character gets to say, "yeah, I broke time and space and destroyed the logic of the world by killing everyone without walking". And it's actually cannon. Love these kinds of souls challenge runs. This is probably one of the most impressive challenge runs of these games i've ever seen.

The perfect combination of amazing music with perfect timing, creativity, the failing and trying again, all the effort put in, the humor and references to other games, the fact that you're still going back and making content for older games like these even with Elden Ring. @@baconator_x4098 He mentions in the reddit thread that he never actually defeated Dancer in that savefile because he knew of the ladder problem, he only recorded that part for the video after the run
I didn’t expect the adventure for the dancer ladder skip and for it to be halted by a hacker. Smart to have a back up save. Aldrich tail do be under there. And I know the first dlc wasn’t completable but you did beat the game without moving your stick which I didn’t think would happen thank you for the great content.
If there is ONE youtuber / streamer that should get your patreon money it's this guy. The amount of effort, skill, time and sheer quality of the content is beyond anything else on this platform.

@@darv248 the craziest thing is that, I wouldn't even consider going up a ladder as walking, and I'm sure most wouldn't either, but he just doesn't give up
@@accountname7969 Thats because no "walking" or "jumping" or etc, challenges usually refer to the button imput rather than the act being named, so that usually also means using the buttons for other than those acts is often prohibited as well. If you were to go for technicalities, walking because of weapon animations would also be prohibited. This is done this way simply because otherwise there is always discussion on how to define an action within a context, while the button press is that, just a button press, if A is for jumping, then we prohibit its use and thats it
@@miser2570 11:06 He actually alters his hardware to prevent accidental inputs as well. He also showed that broken controller for the Skyrim No Walking vid.
This is what distinguishes you and those like you from others. You put in not only the time and effort required to complete such difficult and unimaginable challenges but you don’t alter the rules either, no matter how improbable the odds are. A true master indeed. Or rather a god among gods.
Getting tempted to give it a crack. Tbh I'd allow the ladders for myself. Knowing that it is possible to skip around I'm totally fine just using them to avoid the hassle of glitching it. Especially the dancer one fuck that noise. Too much effort.

Awesome music selection, as always
Skyrim without walking is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life, and after recently finishing the main story of DS3, this has to be the best thing that’s happened to me all year
Story?
Then this was made for you
Hey man, I don't know if you still read the comments, but I just wanted to say how much I love your videos. The creativity, the willpower to jump through ridiculous hoops just for a stupid challenge, the humor, the edit, the soundtrack. Every video is just a very well crafted and fun moment to watch. The more I watch them, the more I like them. And the more I play and know these games, the more I like your videos because the more I understand all the references you scatter throughout them. Thank you I hope you're doing ok and doing well, and I hope you'll be able to deliver more awesome stuff in the future!
I love how some of the most difficult non-DLC bosses take no time and effort, but a ladder requires $2400 and 20 minutes out of a 50 minute video to defeat.
Reminds me of MGS 3.
So happy I found this guide! My controller stick just broke and was worried I'd wasted my money buying DS3.
Looks like I'll still be able to play it :D
This is a 10/10 comment. congrats.

I love how ymfah always puts how to do his challenge runs, like someone wants to feel so much pain
I tried to follow him for his bloodborne guns only challenge... it didn't last much past Gascoigne

@@athath2010 My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. @@9024tobi I'm not sure if you missed it, but the "new game plus" hack was actually one of the less awful things people can do.
Basically, there's a hole in the dark souls servers that allows hackers near direct access to your computer.
