@@Jake-egan It doesn't suck though, it's fast and high damage for low stat investment, perfect for builds that won't use strength or dex much.
In higher level it'll start sucking, sure, but it can still carry you for a decent portion of the game.

Oceiros is easy, doesnt take a lot beating him on low level builds so I always go grab the prisoner chain first, but friede and her marathon battle bs pisses me off
Are I think she also says, "Yuria will surely await thee" if you kill Yuria too. That makes it worse for me.
Agree with that. Oceiros ranks as one of the easiest bosses for me all round but on subsequent playthroughs I've found he can be quite variable. Friede is definitely harder but arguably fairer in way.

Kukri's have S tier dex scaling so I use them on most of characters since I generally use dex gear. It feels really nice to just pelt the shit out of the dancer with them

It's not impossible tbh all you need is 99 fth and 3 damage rings(including lightning clutch) or spam gnaw until bleed procs if enemy isn't weak to lightning.

@@traedenwanner7819 I don't think so, he could've summoned NPCs at any time for any of the fights but he did the work himself, and letting other people do the damage doesn't really make sense in an "item only" run.
Did you see him summon for any boss in DS2's item only video ? (which, by the way, was the real deal, I hope we'll have a remaster for DS3's item only where we actually see him take down SoC, NK, Midir, or Gael using those strats XD)
I think that in the yhorm boss fight he would use the same strategie for ancient wyvern

When I was doing my lvl1 hobo run with starting/no equipment, I realized that dragon form actually gives me more fire protection that default waistcloth, so it was actually useful against dancer and pontiff, allowing me to survive one hit.
