This is basically “How to skip 90% of the game and Immolation only the last 10%” and I’m all for it. I’m convinced that Miyazaki has a bounty on your head at this point.

@@AntizombiRUS I imagine it'd be MUCH less consistent in PVP. NPC locations are pretty nailed down, other characters in pvp? Their position could be off, and then it's gonna be sheer chance if you manage to get the right spacing when you walk down/right for the jump.
They use pvp for some tricks and set ups in speed running, it's super consistent as long as connection is good

In the REALLY Ymfah ones, he takes 30 minutes of video to get past the first boss and then reaches maximum cheese and crushes the rest of the game ruthlessly.

Majula's theme is still so memorable. Of all the music in souls, Majula's theme has stuck in my head the most.

You know, despite the copious amounts of pathing/glitch execution effort, editing proficiency and patience, and outright entertainment value present on literally every single one of these videos, I think the thing I appreciate the most about this channel is that in each and every video they link all the music they used to the sources. That is such a based chad miyazakipilled move, and I respect the fuck out of them for giving daps to the artists and not just ripping the audio for content, like nearly everybody else does. I always love how watcher and defender are always the true final boss of challenge runs in DS2
They're the true final boss in any run, tbh. Fume, once figured out, it completely predictable. Burnt Ivory king, once you kill the mobs, it's over. Unless you're doing a no-hit. The Throne watcher and defender? They'll pound you raw, and don't you dare take them one at a time. Because they resurrect each other.
It's still crazy that you can make these videos as entertaining as they are without your voice. Just means I can watch them without disturbing anyone near me 😅
It's funny because in Dragon's Dogma immolation is the complete opposite: It DOES scale from your weapon, in fact it scales on the physical stat (strength) of all things, it deals negligible damage to the player and it deals absolutely insane wacky nutso damage to everything else in a five-meter radius. Smaller enemies try to approach you and just die before they can touch you. And of course it casts almost instantly.
I like how his videos always get that experience of journey. All unexpected difficulties and failures, winning strikes, and witty crazy solutions
Immolation is such a good spell! i can't think of any other spell in the Souls series that does so much damage!
a whopping 1300?! that's insane! i can't believe people would call it bad, Crystal Soul Spear does only like 700, that's NOTHING compared to 1300 damage over time that Immolation causes, its basically a better poison!

I like how it's actually "parallel universes", since skipping areas out of bounds causes all of the enemies to disappear, like a parallel universe where no one can even try to stop you

There's _no way_ you're gonna see this, but I have put _wayyy_ too much time into Inquisition (easily 3K+ hours), and the DRUMS of this track alone got me hyped. I recognised it INSTANTLY, and throughout this entire segment, I was chanting "FOR ONE DAY SOOOON, THE DAWN WILL COOOOOOOOME!!"
Thank you thank you thank you for using this track; it felt like hearing an old language nobody ever speaks anymore, but I understood it!! It's such a terribly small thing you probably didn't even think twice about when selecting the track, but it's one of the happiest moments I've _ever_ had watching your videos
Well all the tracks are hand-picked and audience-recommended. He's asked several times for suggestions so it wouldn't surprise me if someone put that in the list on purpose.

Ymfah still making DS2 content really made my day. I have done many toons after his guide videos that are great but also funny with no filler content. Made my DS2 journey alot more memorable, i think it's about good time to rewatch some of your older videos to start another playthrough.

This is how challenge runs are supposed to be. All the elden ring challenge videos that are coming out now are no fun. Some people even decided to do them glitchless and/or hack the item in to "make the run possible". Also nice video, editing is top tier as always.
I love how towards the end of the video ymfah couldn't gimmick his way out of the last few fights. Unlike other videos which usually rely on some sort of exploit usually, ymfah actually had to make a reliable immolation build just to take on the 2v1. He couldn't cheese his way out of the fight.
