Sorry to hear about the demonetization. But yeah, it's true, YT is not a passive income source (very few things are). It's still a lot of work and it is ongoing, we have to bow to the algorithm.

Are you able to demonetize it? They might put up those ads you can't skip.

If a monetized channel gets demonetized, then the creator no longer has any access to ad features.
