I’ve watched this entire video and firstly I want to say thank you for spending your time to make this video. Secondly your knowledge is mind blowing and again makes sense, it’s a key tool to your profession. I’ve been doing quite a lot incorrectly. Guess who uses their hands a lot😊 and primarily films in the kitchen because it has the best light! I make most all my videos on my iPhone. I just upgraded to a 15 pro Max. I began editing all my earlier videos strictly on my phone. I’ve “upgraded” to edits on my ipad. When I got my first 100 subs I gifted myself a wireless mic. The rode wireless ME mic. It used to work great on my iPhone 11, it worked really great on my Canon 70D however I find my Big Camera a challenge to carry around and set up. For some crazy reason when I got the iPhone 15 and plugged the rode wireless into it, it sounded not at ll like it did with the other two things I mentioned above. A setting perhaps? Then I stopped using the mic altogether. I recently went back to my roots so to speak. My 2 very first videos were voice overs and my last 2 have also been voice overs. I record my voice overs straight into the iPhone 15 pro max in either the inside of my car in the garage OR I sit in my 2 door closet on a file box with the doors closed. It’s kind of cramped in there. The very end of this video makes me feel better it really does. Maybe I stress too much for no reason?! Lately all this being said, I’m on awe of your audio and it also makes watching your channel like the cherry on top! Good audio goes long way in my book. Oh and my last video, it’s pretty short, I like the voice quality a bit better? If you have a small chance in your day can you give it a listen…even if it’s just for 30 seconds. Level 150 for voice and 15 on the background music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Wayne.

No way. In fact you are aware. You are so completely down to earth and I’m longing for more humans in this world like you and like me. If I’m searching for what to watch I’m selective. I’m a part of a GenX group that is really supportive however it’s also becoming a bit overwhelming. When I choose what to consume you are one of them. I have to choose at this point because it’s getting to be a lot. What I do know is, I do have a legitimate connection with the viewers I have. It is the biggest coolest piece of gold to me. I had no idea that would happen when I started my channel. My own mom started watching YT because of me and now she is hooked on so many influencers. It’s mind blowing. She will say so and so said this and I got this because of them? I was like why on earth would you buy something because someone “well known” says it’s what you need? Your channel as you can see pulls so many words out of me it’s almost embarrassing. Thanks for being a good human.

Gosh Wayne every time I watch your videos I’m so taken by the beautiful quality of your voice and sound. Does not surprise me that you do voice over work as your living. I feel 100% like you! Consumerism is so upsetting to me. This is why I’m here for your content! You are my kind of human. I’m so thankful for humans like YOU❤ Keep doing this, we need this. Keep selling what you’re selling cause I’ll buy it all day long. My hope is that others will too and they can feel the love, the joy etc. as opposed to thinking that the next new “thing” will fill that empty spot. You are refreshing.

everyone has to make a living. ads in media have been there at least since radio and probably before then. If you find out some way to commercialize this channel I will be all for it. Everyone has to make a living. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting paid. If you start putting in affiliate links I'll support it. I know so many artists that never make money and they have to give up painting or writing or singing and end up flipping burgers to pay the rent. If you can make a living selling some microphones do it. Don't be ashamed of the need to make money. If you can dance like a loose limbed lothario then you can pitch some ads.

Currently on the "best mic" section, I wish I seen something like this sooner! About 3 months ago was my first time trying a shotgun mic and not knowing how to use it or knowing anything about mics in general, lets say it was awful and even picked up my husband playing video games 2 rooms away haha. I am thankful for my paranoid self who also used a lav mic "just in case" so I didn't have to re-record the video Edit - just got to the part where you explain about the lav mics, mind blown! So good to know

Yep I totally feel that. I am looking for real humans and authenticity. Some channels, I hard nope right out of there because it's just not my vibe. I feel like I am an just a number to them.

Have 4 out of 5 of the same dislikes. I guess I am pretty ambivalent about boats even though I am also prone to motion sickness. I went on a cruise recently and it wasn't bad. I think its the smaller boats that I am not sure I can handle, but I haven't been on one recently to make a judgement on it.

Im not sure if i can be helped.Been waitin on this🎉🔥. Meeeeetoo. I tried gh7 w 32 bit xlr .it sounds like clippin crap. On timeline it shows when volume down not clipping on waveform on timeline. I have rode ntg 3 and rode go pro in xlr to 3.5 adapter w phantom protection running 1 lav. I had gain on xlr full blast. My levels all show green full blast on camera monitor. It sounds like it limiting and cracking . Sorry im lost . I can make a standard mic work for the most part. Its the 32 bit thang. I tried the zoom f3 although sync doesnt work for me. Im way better at breaking concrete.These videos are going to be great reference and saved to my notes.i beleive i have a rain day tomarrow as of now ill know by first light weather or not heading in to work. I have gotten the zoom app. Not sure if i need an account. Says i can join w a link w/o signin up🤷ive clipped up the karate guys and it flips all over. The mic2 lav extention is a good one to tape on cuz the mic points up but rode kicks out the front. I lost my tape somewhere and havent tested. Ive never been able to timecode sync. I got modules and crap so fcpx im lost.i record hrs so stopping my camera w zoom across the room recording w a pain to start and stop. This def helps. Thanks for yet another great video! People have numerous reasons for posting on RUclips, but it's crucial that the content evolves with the person over time. I've been following some content creators for years, since the beginning, and now some of them have over a million subscribers. I adore their videos because I can relate to them, their personality, and what they talk about. From personal experience, doing something (whatever that is) that doesn't align with our heart's desires (our Soul) can make us feel unhappy, uncomfortable, and unmotivated. As you said, always remember your "why".

Good morning Wayne. I’m now on your most popular! Makes so much sense you do voice overs because you have a great voice. When I’m on YT and click on a video that seems interesting and it’s a robotic voice it makes me angry and I click off. I know the AI voices are getting better, which is scary to me. I want to write and illustrate a children’s book one day and (I) want to do this and I know that AI writes stories now it breaks my heart. I have the same opinion as you. I’m a creative and that’s not creative.

My videos are a moving memory for me and my family. I’ve been at it over a year, it’s a slow go however I know later my children will be glad I did this. I love this. My videos started this way and then I felt a pressure to edit to make myself more interesting. I find this interesting and it’s so strait forward. Hey Wayne, thanks for this! I am an INFP too and have had somewhat of an emotional roller coaster as a content creator. Mostly it's due to me making videos I think my audience wants, not what I want (and often those videos under-perform in the analytics, which is ironic - maybe I don't actually know my audience yet). I will focus on making future videos on topics I want to talk about, YT algorithm be damned, and see what happens.
