ageism is a big part of this conversation. People judge people over 50 a lot. Now I understand what my mom was talking about when she told me how younger people treat her like she does not exist. My mom was brilliant, but she felt invisible after 50 and this was in the 1990's. Frankly, it sucks and if anything has gotten worse. Or I think it has because now I am going through it.

I’m so glad I get to hang out with you every day. It was really cool to hear you speak on how you used to be and how you have changed. My high school photo teacher told me that it doesn’t matter if we are using a super expensive camera or a cheap point and shoot….if you’re gifted with the eye, the equipment is secondary. I like to take those words of wisdom to ALL the things!
