Imma go for my worlds first +20 with this build
hey im trying to farm 11-15 for crest and I'm constantly getting out dpsed by people 10-15 ilvls under me even with perfect rotations, does fire mage not get really good until ignite in 25+'s? should I be playing frost until 20+? whats your thoughts?
Fire scaling with gear need mucho haste, vers anda master (ignite dmg) Maybe in low keys is better frost cuz packs die fast and bosses don have much HP.
he playing with dh and augment, both buff him (more dmg and combustións cd more fast )🔥
fire mage is perfectly fine on any key level, any gear, any stats. Play whatever spec you enjoy the most these things don't matter much if at all.

what are you thoughts on all the ignite variations? i.e. swapping around points in inflame/fta/firefall
think all of them are bad besides the build I am playing in the video, they just are worse in single target and aoe

i just ran whatever stats the sim told me to and balanced it for single and aoe

is there a reason mages arent using block these days? so many abilities seem to be nonexistent if i preblock, or just block a debuff off?

What happens if you scorch during the “don’t Scorch” reminder?
Not hopeful but fire mages usually have that type of WA for when their haste gets over a certain threshold. (Usually for lust / personal lust) When it does get above that threshhold you want to cast fireball as it doesn't get munched by your extra haste and you can keep your fired up stacks going.
To tl;dr answer your question - he'll lose damage if he scorches above a certain haste %.

Fire is meta again, no changes after s2. You just click 3 buttons and you are top dps. Fuck this balance.
Why is fire played over arcane when arcane sims so much higher
because fire is way easier to play at close to sims, you also have cheat death and great prio damage
