These days i come back to this video to relieve the glory of the 7 days of fun we had. Never played my fire mage after the nerfs before. fuck ignite.
I don't think I've ever seen that many numbers pop up so fast. That first pull was fun to watch.
The pure joy in Hopefuls voice make me eager to try it myself.
Insane video brother! Wonder if they will fix the bugged interaction with ignite and the evokers buff as right now ignite takes all the evokers damage and gives it to the mage instead of splitting the evokers portion!
Love seeing fire blasting... as long as you get PI and evoker buff funnel...but still nice to see XD
Details isn't tracking Aug damage. If someone logged the run with warcraft logs you would see much different numbers. The mage wouldn't actually be at 400k. About 30% of that would be shown to the AUG. (He still crushing tho!)
I did the new dung and it showed 35k done as my AUG and as an example the priest I was with did 160k. On warcraft logs the priest actually did 109k. And it showed me at 89k.
Once a details update goes out people will see the true actual dps of AUG.
Details will never show Aug damage, only logs. The devs have publicly said this and it’s intentional.
Yes it’s still impressive but he’s doing this dps on logs too because it’s a bugged interaction with ignite and the evoker so it can’t tell which is the mages damage and which is evokers so mage gets it all!
What nameplates are those that put the exclamation point on dangerous mob abilities? :)

havent played fire since bfa raid been following your videos for some days now ! isnt it more optimal to keep funneling like you did in the other runs? didnt seem inferior at all
funnel build got changed a lot and does a quite a bit less damage than flamestrike now. Of course its better to funnel on bosses etc.

Question for you. What do you determine before using PF? Sometimes I c you pooling 2, sometimes I see you going down to 1. Is this only based on when you get a free PF proc?
just vibe it out, use to build skbs if not in combust and make sure to not stay at 3 charges

Is Ice Floes not optimal anymore cause of the removal of the rune? Or would you still take it in certain situations?
i prefer shimmer now, only scenario where I would take it over shimmer is volcanic weeks but even then I like shimmer more. Has a high skill ceiling so some people might not like it.

A lot of it would have been because fire is bugged with the evoker because ignite so a lot of the damage he’s getting is the evoker actual damage!

Its just uncapped aoe with good team. +BH where are a lot of extra adds, and another + the new evoker is boosting the mage all the time. You will not see simular numbers on a +20-21 key with pugs im sure.

Yea turbo charged fire mage with pi and Aug buffs that’s huge 20% haste 20% Vers plus that 2k ish int that’s up quite a bit talk about a wet dream lol
So Augmentation Evoker does no dmg but just buff the other 2 dps to make up for its lack, thats neat

@@luck7317 This is on blizzards side, details wont be able to track it unless blizz decides to create damage hooks for details to read off of. So for the time being and probably a long time down the road we have to suffer and look at 50k dps from Aug

Looks good but it's a mame run, uncapped aoe on BH where are lot of extra adds. Fire is definitely good if the team is also in favor of it and they play as it should, but those who play in keys around 20 with pugs don't think that they will make such numbers. Despite the rework, the fire remained as it was before, its good with good teamwork on high lvls, but for the average with randoms it still sucks. I only say this so that those who want to start playing with it after watching one of these videos have no illusions.
Frost is fine, I will go frost.. much more AOE then before..
Lol I've been pugging 18-20 keys all day as fire and I've been DESTROYING the meters. Fire is insane right now

@@cosonic1998if things are as they were on ptr then flamestrike favors vers, and since ST has favored vers for some time now, fire now goes Haste + Vers for both AoE and ST in other words… recrafts recrafts and more recrafts

Who’s the evoked why is he not doing any damage
Damage meter has no way to track the Augmentation Evokers buffs to the party since blizzard made no hooks for the meters only for logs. So it may look low but it really isn’t. WoWhead just made a post about it

you're getting nerfed 100% . You can't double spriest dmg and think you wont. Considering spriest had to be nerfed

@@timothymeyer9940 How does that change a thing? The spriest had PI and Augment in the party also. The fire mage STILL doubled his damage. This is without having to spread dots with hard casts either.
@@reviewthereviewer7034 hardly doubled. fire mage did 38% more. Look at all the fire mage talents too with combustion CD reduction and combustion procs that is 100% crit when it's up. You don't think PI is going to be more beneficial and an augment main stat and vers buff?

Don't believe the hype. Details was wrong on 10.1.5 launch when having an augmentation evoker in your group. I like Hopeful, but this is clickbait and untrue.
Looks like you might have exploited
fyi 40% mage damge 30% augment evoker buffs & 30% holy paladin buff all going onto the mage with all his buffs and big pulls= not true fire mage damge
AUG buffs everyone, adittionally he gives 3% crit to a single target which makes little difference to fire mage since u stack haste mastery
fucking hilarious that spriest had to be nerfed then they release fire in this state to do double the damage.
Some of that damage is actually spread out from the evoker. Details just isn't displaying it properly. So, both priest and mage are actually doing less, and the evoker is doing significantly more overall.
@@andreware2039doesnt change the fact that mage is doing significantly more damage than SP ever was this season, even in groups without Aug evokers
