Watching your videos at home, in the province of Rethymno :). It feels awesome to me to see you guys enjoy your time on our island. I work as a coach driver, mainly on excursion tours and I have the weird feeling, watching your videos that i'd have met you at some point during your trips. The Gorge of Kourtaliotis ( translated through the Cretan argo as "Kourtaliotiko") is the biggest one in the prefecture of Rethymno and after the heavy winter of 2021 that destroyed part of the road at the north entrance, the commute and whole area has been improved and the visiting popularity increased a lot.
U reminded me my trip on Easter of 2013 in Samothraki. A paradise of Northern Greece in Thrace. Very beautiful island and with significant status in antiquity due to the mysteries which were taking place there. The island has numerous falls in forests which springs from the mountain at the center of it. As u can undertand all year this water is very very cold . I couldn't let the opportunity for mental and physical gymnastics tho. I only lasted 3 minutes in the water, but it was totally worth it and a beautiful rejuvinating experience. All the best for your settlement in my country. I admire your courage. its a very very difficult country to live in, with an insufferable controlling corrupted state, high taxation, beauracracy, high criminality and a collapsed public health system. Being away of Athens tho (and Attica region in general) and having money makes life less hard or even easy in some cases. Greece is a very good place to live IF u have money. The countryside is amazingly beautiful! Northern Peloponesse, Macedonia, Epirus😍. Everywere but Attica actually. Creta obviously as well. It seems u r settling well tho. Bravo guys!

Hello and thank you for watching💙💙. You have to swim 10 meters at some point but that is it. The water is very cold so be aware of that 🙏💙

Very sad that tourists swim there. The locals are worried and hopefully swimming and going to the swimming area will be banned.
