Cat owner here, yes there are special bigger litter boxes for maine coon, and Himalayans etc! They cost only a few bucks more then regular ones and I've found them at Walmart. Good rule of thumb is one litter box per cat to make sure there's no issues with using the bathroom. Some cats are finicky about peeing where another cat pees.
That depends on what you feed them. I give mine only canned pate cat food which is meat and organs, no veg/grain. Stools are small. I also don’t over feed. She is slim too.
Are their bowel movements much bigger, do you need a bigger litter box? Can they share a litter box?
