You said on your ring fit video 4 weeks ago that you sold your v2 ACNH... so how exactly are you testing game battery consumption now without the two other units and still somehow manage to get battery results? Are these old prerecorded videos? If so be nice if you make mention of that in those videos as to not confuse your viewers, just seems right and to be honest. Thanks 😁
Love this mod. Little bit more difficult then everyone makes it out to be. But definitely worth it. Would not recommend the clear shells. While they look super great, they do not have the same durability as the original plastic nor I’m guessing of these shells either. I have the clear atomic purple because who didn’t love that GBA. Had to replace the shell twice now because of small pressure cracks that form over time. The first one I though maybe I tightened down the screws too hard, or it was the case it was in or I had dropped it and not known. But after the second shell I replaced and mad sure to be more cautious, the shell still formed pressure cracks in almost the same areas. So if I go for another shell it will be one of these pastel ones, instead of the clear ones unfortunately.
Hey! Idk if you'll respond but after a month of use how are the extremerate shells holding up? I am really interested in getting the white shell but I've heard bad stories about the finish on extremerate shells wearing off and becoming yellow.
Seems to be okay so far, BUT I actually think the finish on the extreme rate is a bit too smooth, doesnt feel as "grippy" , I'm sure the long term durability is not as good as original.
Fact: it will not void the warranty unless you break it while doing it. Government passed laws years and years ago that the consumer can work on their own property even if the company says it voids because it puts a monopoly on the market. So if you do this as long as you don’t break it the warranty is still good.
I don't know about the whole country but the supreme court of New York state did make a ruling establishing your "right to repair". It was in a case involving Microsoft. They established that you did indeed own your Xbox game console and had a right to repair it yourself or have an independent repair shop repair it for you. It was not as the game companies would have you believe "illegal" !
Hi, I have a question. I changed the casing on the Lite but I feel like the buttons are not well adjusted. When you move the console it makes a rattling sound. Is this normal? Because I installed the colored buttons that came in the package.
This is really cool. But what's pathetic is that Nintendo shelled out those Easter colors and thought it was a good idea. And they still haven't put out anything better. The only reason I have not picked 1 up is because the current color options look just awful. Wish I were more tech savvy I'd do this.

Check out Erica Griffin's video on how to swap the shells. It gave me a lot more confidence to try this myself. I will be doing mine on thursday, maybe I remember to come back and tell you how it went. Never done anything like this before. Did you need to replace the thermal paste? I’ve seen another tutorial where someone has done that. Wondering if it’s necessary.
