My dad's side of the family really loves ketchup. We put ketchup on eggs (always), fried food, etc, and use it as our primary condiment. When I see the popularity of ketchup in Japan, I feel like visiting Japan because I think I would fit right in.

I have studied abroad in Nagoya for 1 year before and this video reminds me of the time. (especially the intro scene with Oosu Kannon) I still miss the taste of Miso Katsu!
I have to say that was the most appetizing meal I've ever seen you guys eat. (And I've been watching for a long time) I'm a very, very picky eater and even the raw egg on that crispy pork and rice looked delicious. I think maybe it's because seeing any meat with fat on it makes me lose my appetite and that was all lean and crispy and yummy looking.

Once my bestie took me to have Hitsumabushi in Nagoya, I have not been able to enjoy unagi anywhere else, even had some in Asakusa & my mouth was like no, take me back to Nagoya. Cursed blessing! I need to go back to Nagoya for all their other Nagoya specific dishes!!!

It's been a minute since I watched y'all's videos, and I'm glad this popped up. You two presented this in your usual laid back yet enthusiastic manner, and I enjoyed it rather a lot. Next time you go to Nagoya please visit Ichinomiya!! They also have fabulous miso katsu!! 😍 also you can visit Inuyama Castle nearby!! There are kimono rental shops and really delicious beef sushi on the shopping street leading to the castle!! 💖
