I love how the cake showing through clear can looks like a stylish graphic but is actually real! Japan is so full of clever, fun and stylish ideas. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK TO JAPAN!
Another great vending machine adventure! I love the food waste-free premise behind the first vending machines--cheap items, no waste--it's win/win. But, for me, the cake vending machine is #1! The strawberry shortcake looked delicious and refreshing. The matcha cake sounded complex and interesting. Yum! Thanks for the mouth-watering video. 😋
I don't think there was a single thing I wouldn't go out of my way for in this episode (I did drive a couple of hours out of my way to get cheesecake in Hokkaido once 😂). It all looked amazing. I would love to try the purin (creme caramel) in a can. The last time we went to Japan I think I ate a convenience store creme caramel everyday for 5 weeks - not to mention the speciality purins in jars you can get in bakeries and cake shops. 😋I love the infinite variety of vending machines. I think I have hours and hours of video of vending machines in all sorts of locations - I think I should put them all into one video. 😂
I totally thought the cake cans had a wrapper, that's just wild that what you see is what you get! Very clever and great marketing. The cheap vending machine with discounted drinks is a great idea. All you can get out of a vending machine here is Coke, chips, and chocolate bars. There was an ice cream vending machine at the pool but it was always broken so it remained a mystery. lol
Definitely the 30-ish best minutes of my weekend, spent watching this. The cheap "near expiry" vending machines are such a cool idea! The stroopwafels looked delightful -- I'd be all over the Earl Grey one; the flavors sound like a match made for my palate's heaven!
The waffle thing is also sold at 7-11 stores here in Okinawa! The vending machines are interesting. Down the street from our house, there is a meat vending machine, which we plan on checking out. Thanks guys for showing us different types of vending machines. Take care everybody!
Now I need cake in a can .. looks delicious. You are so blessed to have so many vending machines with delicious things .. I have envy over vending machines and convenance stores (ours are terrible in US)
wow! Those are amazing vending machines! all of those things look fantastic, especially the cakes in the beginning! The chocolate selection on the last machine was cool!
Wow! Now I want to check out the cake machine and the stroopwafel place. Those mystery vending machines look fun too! Those cakes look so refreshing! Japan needs to open already.
So jealous that there is a stroopwafel shop! It’s one of the things I missed trying fresh when I was in NL. (I only got pre-made ones because I didn’t know you could get them fresh.)
Satoshi’s vending machine cake looked amazing, and sounded really interesting! I’ve never had stroopwafel, but they look delicious! I’d probably go for the original or chocolate. And the cheese!
So nice you could get stroopwafels! I am not sure about all the different flavors, I know you can get those at the supermarket, but mostly not at the market where you can get the fresh ones. I visit the market every week, and still cant resist the stroopwafels :) I live in the Netherlands :)
lmao, getting the same drink over and over was hilarious. honestly though, with those kind of drinks, that expiration is probably pretty generous, i'm sure they'd be absolutely fine for another 6 months to a year, so if you're on a budget, thats not bad at all to stock up. those cakes looked divine though, and yum, stroopwafels are amazing.
Putting cake in a can is such a crazy yet genius idea! At first I was afraid it would get smashed when falling down from the shelf inside the machine, but then I realized that this would not happen, because it's packed so compactly inside the can. I love the idea of selling nearly expired drinks for a low price. And, Shinichi, I laughed so much about your relieved facial expression when you discovered that the drink is zero calories! I would have reacted the same, since I cannot handle drinks with calories, but love sweet drinks as long as they are calorie-free (just a little freakiness of mine 😂 )
I love your vending machine videos! I also enjoy your videos where you eat at restaurants and places like that, but there's a special spot in my heart for vending machine food. ^_^
So awesome they're selling those drinks so low priced to prevent waste :) I usually swoop in on deals like that at grocery stores. It's good for me and good for the store so win win!
You guys should try the Ramen and Pizza vending machines in Tokyo!! And if that works out go back and get the butaman!!! Apparently the ramen vending machine is really good, but you need to take it home and cook it like the butaman machine
Awesome video i seen these vending machines in a lots video . Its great you get to explain more about it and gain more interesting info about them. Lots of love and blessings.
I wish we had vending machines as varied as this here in the UK... cake in a can? Hell yeah 😄. I've always loved the vending machine variety that Japan has 😀.
You guys have all the fun dessert 🍨 in a vending machine yes please. They look and sound 😋 delicious. I can't believe how many foods available in the vending machine , thanks for the fun day out .🤗
Amazing Cake cans, looks incredible !! Btw , you can say the word "INTERESTING" All you Want my friend lol, I encourage you to "Be You" and not Worry if ppl say anything about it . You guys are Loved 🇺🇸😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So fun the cake in a can. But so expensive! But if you buy it fresh at the pattiserie it would also be expensive as well. I would go for the matcha one. Love to try the don't know what you get vending machines :)
How exactly is this a cake though? Aside from the thin (like 2mm) strips of sponge cake, there's no cake. It's almost all cream. These seem like parfaits to me.
I've seen that machine in other videos, it looks superb. I do wonder how often they have issues with dented cans and akin. For a beverage it isn't that bad, but for food with cream... Especially given the temperature in Japan...
i love your videos and i like every single one that i watch including this one! sometimes i watch 3 to 5 tabi eats or shinichi world videos a day. but.... to be honest i think this canned cake is so silly. there are so many cake shops available and ir ather have it fresh, with a nice coffee together. i wont buy this vending machine item
how easy is it to find a toilet when walking around? i was thinking of all the drinks i want to try from the vending machines next time i go, and last time i visited japan, i was too scared to drink too much because i wasn’t sure how easily accessible bathrooms would be if you’re not at your hotel
It’s quite easy. Just look for a department store, train station and sometimes at convenience stores. You can also find them underground. In the bigger cities in Japan they always have an underground area. Seriously though you won’t have a problem
@@TabiEats thank you for the reply! i always rely on your videos to help me plan my next trip to japan. last time i went, i just waited until i was at a restaurant to use the bathroom or back at my hotel, so i never really searched around for other places to go. thank you for all the helpful information :)
I’d be checking the ingredients in that 10 yen drink, how can they make money on that unless it is cheap ingredients or some sort of science experiment lol. Love your content, thanks.:) Edit: ahh very good to prevent waste! Really cool mystery machine idea.
Hears him say chopped almonds and my brain says there went that idea of being able to try the strawberry one. CURSE YOU ALLERGIES!!! YOU STRIKE AGAIN AND KILL MY JOY!!!
You know, I think you could make a one week trip to Japan, do a challenge where you only buy vending machine food, and still feast like a king. (for your wallet's sake, you should balance the katsu sandwiches with 10 Yen sports drinks)
I love that they are selling drinks for such a low price to prevent food waste! That’s fantastic 👍🏻
Liquid sugar isn't really food waste. It's unnecessary to produce it at all.
@April Boyle I agree. I wish that more places did this.
I love how the cake showing through clear can looks like a stylish graphic but is actually real! Japan is so full of clever, fun and stylish ideas. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK TO JAPAN!
I thought it was the candesign until he scraped against inside of the can with the spoon.
I am so intrigued with Japanese vending machines!
My mind is blown to have cakes like that in a can from a vending machine it's such a concept that I wish we could have more in the uk such fun

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THE GOOGLE MAPS LINK I COULDN’T FIND THE LOCATION OF THE CAKE VENDING MACHINE ANYWHERE ELSE!

Right about 5:21 Shinichi takes 1hp damage from a random plant.
Good day from Florida in the USA! You and Sinichi's voices are so soothing! I listen to your RUclips videos to relax after a hard day.
Hello! Also from FL. It's been a while since we've seen your faces or heard your voices!
Japan impresses with such an innovative way to distribute gourmet desserts. You guys are so lucky! Maybe we in the U.S. will get these in 2040?
Now I need cake in a can .. looks delicious. You are so blessed to have so many vending machines with delicious things .. I have envy over vending machines and convenance stores (ours are terrible in US)
The way that white t-shirt man said
"Chocoratei cakei" and " I don't know what this is but it's tasty"
So adorable 🤗
the vending machine are awesome, thank you guys for showing us.

Your country is amazing! I wish we had vending machines like that in America. I am so jealous of you two! Thanks for yet another great video.
Such a fun episode!!! I’ve been wanting to try that cake in a can & those surprise vending machines are awesome

I love how many cool vending machines there are
Love 💕 the can cakes from vending machine! I want to try them all 😋
Another great video good job both of you,
I Love these vending machines adventure more please Stay safe and take care 😘😘❤️👍🥰🤩😍
Japanese vending machines are.... astonishing! Never cease to amaze me. A bit pricey though...😁😀😋🤩🤩👍🏽
This looks so good.
Ooooh, that strawberry short cake vending machine! I hope they are still around in a couple of years time.
I would take a backpack and just load up on those 10 yen sport drinks. That's quite a deal!
I wish we had vending machines as varied as this here in the UK... cake in a can? Hell yeah 😄. I've always loved the vending machine variety that Japan has 😀.
You have the most amazing vending machines.
Both your reactions to the waffels made me smile!
Thank you for that fun video! I laughed so hard when the same drink kept coming out! 😄
Love the videos
The ugly mug on that third ten-yen machine is famous comedian and sadist Hamada Masatoshi, of the famous Downtown duo
I was wondering if that was him.
Awesome! I would love to try that whenever I get a chance.
How do they get the strawberries so perfectly placed in the can??
You guys have all the fun dessert 🍨 in a vending machine yes please. They look and sound 😋 delicious. I can't believe how many foods available in the vending machine , thanks for the fun day out .🤗
ケーキの缶の自販機すごく面白い!しかもめっちゃ美味しそう!!今日の動画すごく面白かった!また見たいな!
English is my first language. Satoshi is so good at speaking English. I could never learn Japanese!
Ok my mind was blown that that strawberry cheesecake wasn’t just the printing on the can design. That’s CRAZY
So fun to have vending machines that dispense almost anything in Japan.
i love the vending mashine game of japan. is it silly that a mayor reason why i want to visit japan is the food??
My goodness! That looks soooo good 👍 😋
28:22 Watch a grown man become a kid again. HAPPY HAPPY DANCING in the street!! :-)
Awesome!
Thank goodness they liked the sports drink 😂
So fun the cake in a can. But so expensive! But if you buy it fresh at the pattiserie it would also be expensive as well. I would go for the matcha one.
Love to try the don't know what you get vending machines :)
THAT CHOCOLATE! So Venezuelan style!!! that's life.
The size of a stroopwaffel is designed to be placed as a lid over a hot drink and allow the heat to melt the caramel. It's much tastier that way.
Now I have to buy stroopwafels; soooooo goooooooood.
I will definitely try that super expensive vending machine cake!!!! (at least once in a life time lol)
You two should make a trip to the vending machine park in Sagamihara again to see whats new..
I want that dark chocolate! 🍫Everything looks so yummy!😋 Wish we had all those kinds of vending machines here. Fun video! 😄
That was amazing how I thought the can was just a picture !
BUT it was the actual cake !!!
How exactly is this a cake though? Aside from the thin (like 2mm) strips of sponge cake, there's no cake. It's almost all cream. These seem like parfaits to me.
>> 2 very Sweet guys doing a vlog on sweet things in a can .....in Japan ! - - - That is so SWEET !
Wow it's so interesting 😊

We need those vending machines here....
my fav strawberry
~ My friend visited Japan recently. She said that all her preteen son wanted to do, was spend time/money at the awesome vending machines. ⛩
Tabetai! Wish I could go back to Japan.
I too thought that's the design of the metal can, then it turns out it's wasteful *plastic* ! Metal would be recyclable, plastic isn't sustainable.
wood have to take a kitchen shears and slice the can open to make it easier to eat.

The can is made of what material?
P.s. Looks like u guys are really enjoying Hawaii!!!! 🤙🏻

What is a heat buster? Is it like Gatorade?? :)
Are the cakes made by hand or machine?
Wow, now I have to search stroop waffles so I can experience the Earl Gray stroop waffle.
You know, I think you could make a one week trip to Japan, do a challenge where you only buy vending machine food, and still feast like a king. (for your wallet's sake, you should balance the katsu sandwiches with 10 Yen sports drinks)
Yummy 😋 wow 👌
The machine’s doors soft closes after opening 🤯
Fig?
You should have hot milk tea with u waffle set it on top of the hot cup and it softens the inside
Hmm me Liky and i startet saying that becous of you hehe love your videos
