I'll be honest. I haven't watched videos from you guys in at least a year: life has a mind of its own. but this popped up on my feed and I was filled with warm memories 😊
I am watching more of your show, because of my unemployment. Employment in the United States is unsure for many. These tours have supplied me interesting dishes and excellent work.
I'm with you Shinichi. I love salted caramel anything also. The omelette sandwich reminded me of an egg sandwich my mom used to make. She'd butter an grill the toast before putting the egg in and omg was it good. I'd love to try the one you guys ate, it looked so good.😊
That first sandwich reminds me of the sandwiches I would make for myself before school most mornings. I love buttered toast and scrambled eggs as a sandwich. Simple, delicious, also, quick and easy to make. Plus you can eat it with one hand if you needed to. Occasionally adding cheese and/or ketchup. Thanks for the nostalgia. 🥰
So many interesting foods! For me, the tamago "burger" and onigiri are most enticing. Also the taco/burrito looks good. Honestly, the two of you make everything you eat look appetizing! 😊 Thank you for another upbeat video. ❤❤
It's funny... I often find myself watching your videos when I'm starving. 🤣 Today I watched after lunch and was able to enjoy even more because I wasn't groaning over not being able to share your food. 😆
In Australia, sweet potatoe is considered a vegetable and the most common way to eat it is to peal it and bake it with other vegetables like potatoe and pumpkin. This is then served with slices of baked meat or roast chicken. Yum.
Many years ago, I read a book Paco and his Taco to my young Japanese students. I remember asking them if they knew what a taco was and they said "Yes, it's yummy!". As I began reading the book to them, they looked confused and said "This is a different tako". Only then did I realize they thought I was going to read a book about an octopus :D This came to mind when you guys were eating the taco :D
I remeber my professor at university being very enthousiastic about Nagoya; he worked there for a year. The wrap looks good. A yaki niku wrap!!! What a great idea! I would also love to try the soft serve ice; sweet potato is always good :) I make a thick tamago yaki sando at home. Try making the eggs with a dash of sake and sugar. And I spread some mayo and wasabi on the bread.
Am I the only one who thought the stores @4;26 motto was kind of funny? "Asian Food Store" I had to do a double take...The name is just so completely generic and straightforward, and their motto makes even it better "The name you can trust!"...Bu they are a store that sells Asian food, I guess their motto isn't that ironic! LOL! Great video, guys! I love it when you two go out and review street food. I especially love these little market/arcades (shotengai) you guys visit. You always manage to find some super unique foods and restaurants, and I always end up adding another city or location to my travel bucket list. My list seems to get longer with each one of your videos I watch! Hehe.

I would love the rough cuts video of past footage of you all disliking the food you were previously excited/hopeful about. 😂 That would incredibly amusing and fun ☺️
Now I'm definitely hungry for these goodies btw the taco that looks like a burrito is definitely good because you can walk while you're eating and get more goodies 😎 thanx Gentlemen 🤗💞
Have you guys ever tried Persian food too? I didn't see any videos on your channels on them at all which is strange since they're one of the top cuisines worldwide and there are multiple restaurants on them in Tokyo alone. (they might be a bit pricey though since they usually have a billion items as ingredients and use a different kind of rice from what is common in Japan and it takes way too much time and energy to prepare them)
Maybe it's time to start pointing out that there are different tacos, like Mexican and then Tex-Mex. If someone is not familiar with Mexican cuisine, must also mention it so that the audience does not get confused.

Normally I enjoy your videos but I was really dismayed to hear you call "Bulgogi" "a Japanese bbq sauce". Bulgogi is Korean food. Considering the history of Japanese colonization in Korea, it seems important to state things correctly. Or at least say that it's a "Japan-ized" form of bulgogi sauce as you said about the other places.

Which tour company would you suggest we book with?

No where in the United States of America would that be called a taco. But cute anyway

I want authentic Mexican-Tex tacos and burritos………this would not appeal to me…. Sorry Japan……better in yokosuka
Problem with Japanese restaurants ……since they cater to Japanese tastes……food items are not authentic anymore……
