- Before our big Lake District road trip, we tried out a new location for us, and a campsite which has only been open a few years. Farm & Fell campsite in Sedbergh, set amongst the Howgills in between the Lakeland fells and the Yorkshire Dales. With a pretty little village, riverside walks and views to die for, we quickly fell in love.
We cooked some chicken kebabs on the Weber go anywhere bbq whilst testing some new beers, watched the England football game and had a campfire on an empty campsite. What more could you ask for? Apart from good weather 😁
The site runs alongside the river Rawthey, it's full of nature, wildlife, histric sites and hiking routes, including the Dales Way.
Looks good there. Tasty barbecue chicken, beers, good chilled out campsite, Living the good Life guys. Good watch.👍
Thanks! 😁
We love it, such a picturesque village without the Lake District crowds.
Beer, BBQ and football is the icing ontop 😁
Good work Moochers
Thanks Al 👌🏼
Loved the footie commentary Alan 😂😂. Keep meaning to visit Sedbergh as looks lovely place. Site looks good for a meet up, especially when the bar is open! 🚐
I’m the new John Motson Fiona 😄
You should definitely visit, especially outside of the weekend, lots of gorgeous low level walking.
Did consider here but we may have found somewhere perfect 👌🏼
Great video ,thank you ,microphone sounds good 👍🏻
Oh good 😁
It’s a clever unit with different settings so unsure whether I’d got it right 👍🏼
Tiny Rebel is lovely, but you need to try beer from Broad Town Brewery which is located just outside Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire! Yum Yum!!
I’m not really a big fan of beer but, I may look into that 😉
Cracking, yous need to try dent not to far from Sedbergh, Margaret the old lady is a knock out😂
I have seen Dent on the map so I’ll look into it 🙏🏼
Mic sounds good to me. Looks a good spot too.
Sedbergh is great, peaceful with some great walking 👍🏼
Was in Beadnall Northumberland last weekend, weather was horrible with torrential rain and high winds, people ended up sleeping in cars cause tentage failed, waterlogged ground etc. felt sorry for them all peering out of my campervan window, haha should have gone in the summer months for calmer weather 😂👌👍 Robbo and Barb.
It’s crazy isn’t it?!!
We normally tend to get a good summer from September so fingers crossed there’s still time for good old BBQ outside the van in calm conditions 👍🏼
Great video as always. Totally get what you’re saying about jumping onto RightMove every time you go away. With the places you pick, why wouldn’t you!
We must be serious this time as we’ve arranged a viewing 😁
@@Professionalmoochers Great stuff, fingers crossed for you! 🤞
We love your videos, like you we prefer a bit of our own space, especially with having the dogs. I can't find your video on Coco's Wild Camp though, I am pretty sure you would have been, right up your street!
Thank you 🙏🏼
We haven’t but it’s on our radar as it sounds like a great place 🤩
Not boring at all mate loved it
Thank you 😁
Another good video guys your both just so chilled we are off to threkheld farm site 6th September we usually stay at burns farm but wanted a change we also love keswick and have walked along that old railway line quite a few times although we caravan and don’t campervan we have watched all your videos since we discovered your channel keep up the great videos 👍
Thanks a lot!
North lakes is just addictive.
Let us know what the threlkeld site is like 👌🏼
You have to feel for the Scots, they’ve supported four teams so far in the Euros and yet to see a win 😇
@@mikelambrou4462 😄😄 tonight is their last chance!
now now boys, I thought this was about campers.
Anyway now that the footy is finish we can get back to fire lighters and Ridge Monkeys
@@jasonnicol8302 a lot less stressful 😄
Also firepits and knives. 😊
Great video, as always. Mic sounds good.
What do you mean “you’ll actually do something”? Why change a winning formula 😂
😄😄 don’t want folk thinking we’re lazy do we 😉
What do you use to stop the rain between the awning cassette and the van!?
We don’t have anything but, someone did say there’s a rubber strip available. Not sure if it’s California specific but, the drops that come through have never been bad enough for us to do something about it 👍🏼
fair enough, I've seen the Fiamma strips... I've used packing foam but it still comes through in heavy rain, and then drips into the van if the sliding door is open!
Someone said the California came with a strip so I’d imagine it would’ve been Thule or fiamma
