From what I understand, the store is INSIDE the station. A station that almost everyone uses every day. So in a way, it IS convenient since they aren't going out of their way to go to a store, but rather placing orders at a place they will always end up going anyway.
When you're actually in the store, you can ask some questions to the stuff working there, or you can ask for some advice and so on. Shopping is a lot easier while being in the market than online.
no you can't but as this video about this new feature along with others has said korea has MILLIONS of people with smart phones. no they wouldn't replace all stores.
Economies proned to technologies will always create business models and markets based on technology advancement. Good aspect of Tesco business innovation dept
In my point of view, online shopping is good, because sitting at our office and home we can order the product,we can save our time .and no need to visit the shop .
It seems like it would be easier just to go pick up stuff at the store...it could also be because I have shaky hands and taking a steady picture with my phone is harder than it should be.
But why would people use it? I mean why would people stop, spend their time scanning the barcode when they can do it another way like Amazon or Walmart?
I guess this kind or store only works for household stuffs and food and drinks..., If I want to buy shoes or clothes I would definitely want to try them myself before buying.
its the same to go to a mall and take photos and shop online than just pick the item and pay for it there, without paying extra cost for delivering, why not just buy it online at your house? this is dumb
agree.. I rather still shop naturaly. sometimes, by touching, smelling and squizzing a liitle, you'll know if its fresh, smelly and damage... i want to check the expiration date too. should all people trust their workers and shop owners? they love money more than your life. goodluck everyone about the products quality.
its something new and and its a trial going on. something about buying online groceries is weird. and if you have a smart phone is stop by this stop why not!
For the love of god, please don't let this be successful in America. We're fat and lazy enough as it is. If this shit comes here, people will be going through LCD aisles on electric shopping carts. The world of Wall-E will indeed become a reality!
that's stupid. why not just order online. they deliver anyway. what a waste of screens and time that it takes to scan the QR code. how do you know if they are giving you rotten food, or including a banana that has been severely bruised? my guess that the store sells stuff that's way overpriced to compensate for this technological disaster. might as well shop in a real store and save some of that hard earned money.
This type of technology is pretty obnoxious and pointless. Not that it would help people needing jobs and needless to say a much longer process. Cracked LCD , no smart phone, hygiene is a problem. All it is, is for the show of it.

There's regular supermarkets for that. This would be useful if you can't carry what you bought because you dont own a car or whatever the reason is

This is obviously convenient for people who work long hours & have busy schedules, but I'm not sure how well it'll work for shoes & clothing.
that is a very creative and visionary thing. congrats.
Hadi Ader Like the reporter said, it is not a touch screen. One has to scan the barcode of the product and pay for it through your phone.
Dream place😍

Actually you can in some countries, like those groceries kinda stuff. Don't exactly know how it works though.
Why an effort to go to the store and scan the bar code? We have e commerce websites where we can buy groceries and etc by just sitting at home.
It seems like it would be easier just to go pick up stuff at the store...it could also be because I have shaky hands and taking a steady picture with my phone is harder than it should be.
تطور مذهل فى صناعة التسويق
Do they put horsemeat in everything in Korea like Tesco do here in the UK?
But why would people use it? I mean why would people stop, spend their time scanning the barcode when they can do it another way like Amazon or Walmart?
Why not shopping online. Why coming to store and then waits to deliver.
the Hipsters need a way to look tech savvy and hip.
imagine your smartphone is out of battery before purchases 0_0

I guess this kind or store only works for household stuffs and food and drinks..., If I want to buy shoes or clothes I would definitely want to try them myself before buying.
Nguyễn Hải absolutely
probably would have worked before the invention of the internet
Well it still works.
its the same to go to a mall and take photos and shop online than just pick the item and pay for it there, without paying extra cost for delivering, why not just buy it online at your house? this is dumb
because you have to wait and pay for shipping
what about I want to drink or have something there itself. Its wont work...
I like to pick and choose my produce and meats.

no .. thanks I like to personally pick out my groceries
Why not waste less money and use a terminal instead of wasting money on lcd screens
I like shopping online. E-Commerce is a modern miracle. I think this idea is still under-conceived. Neat idea though.
This is great if you dont have a car

For the love of god, please don't let this be successful in America. We're fat and lazy enough as it is. If this shit comes here, people will be going through LCD aisles on electric shopping carts. The world of Wall-E will indeed become a reality!

Mariam Janahy South Koreans have very long work days.
The French eat horse meat all the time.. why are you making such a big deal out of it?
This is a ridiculous idea... :\
This type of technology is pretty obnoxious and pointless. Not that it would help people needing jobs and needless to say a much longer process. Cracked LCD , no smart phone, hygiene is a problem. All it is, is for the show of it.
I'm sorry but this is just stupid. People are really that lazy to go purchase their food and carry it home? WOW.
so if all stores become this way, you will probably use it first
They are trying to make more esy way of shopping, we have the technology,so we need to utilize, we need smart work ,not hard work
