Ive always liked mach 1's of all era's. I would be partial to the newedge mach 1 because thats my favorite body style. You can't go wrong with a mach 1 no matter the generation you buy.
I have a question for you, do you ever have an issue where it won't allow you to shift into reverse? I have it happen constantly. I have 2 mach 1's, both 2023's. Both do it, but 1 is much worse than the other. I have even gotten stuck in an intersection when it wouldn't shift into 1st gear. The stick gets stuck between neutral and the desired gear (mostly reverse, but occasionally 1st, no other geat), and there is no forcing it into gear. Sometimes i will not notice it didn't complete, and I'll begin to let out the clutch, then it will pop back into neutral hard. Thanks
yes all the time! only happens going into reverse for us, have to let off the clutch very slowly but not let off all the way and push it a little before it goes all the way in!
IMHO....Keep this car as your daily. Save your money and get a track only car, go racing and get it out of your system (the need for something faster on the street). The street is not a race track. Once you start going to track and improve as driver you will thank me for the advice. You will make bunches of friends in the racing world.
The Mach just sounds so good from the factory. Ford outdid themselves. It sounds like maybe a GT500 is on the way? 😮 Please don't get a Nazi German turd...like a BMW. Supras are cool tho.
