You should trade for better ride! Test drive an M240i. It’s faster and rides better plus better build quality for about $50-60 depending on options. 3.6 seconds 0-60.
My 2020 GT driver’s door was doing the same thing. It was rubbing near the top. Had a friend who does body work look at it. He adjusted the fender and touched up the door. It’s perfect now! I had a loaded Mach1 with the handling package on order. I got tired of waiting so I found my 20 GT PP1 with 7K miles. I saved 27K by passing on the Mach1. I can do a lot of mods with that amount of money! Enjoy your Mach1! Gorgeous car in blue!!
body panel misalignment on driver's side and then passenger side strut is messed up. Your car hit something dude. If it wasn't you, someone else was taking it on a joyride....or, put it on the lift incorrectly when they changed the oil.
I'd be very suspicious your dealer damaged the car when it was in for service. Sudden changes in panel gap coupled with the appearance of suspension noises sound a lot like damage from some sort of severe impact. Depending on how your dealer responds I'd think very seriously about having it inspected at another shop.
interesting, my Mach 1 doesn't have the body alignment problem but I have the same problem with the tire. I got a nail in one of em and got it patched but it is slow leak now, when my tires are at a 29 psi, the one tire will be a 23 or 24 and i filled them up all together
Do you happen to have the box that your front fender flares arrived in? I would love to know the information of the company who makes them. I wish we could get them to make them for the rear fenders. It looks strange to have fender trim on the front fenders, but not on the rear. if you happen to have that information, please share it. Thanks. I like yourself also own a Mach1 here in Tennessee.
I love the way they look. And I really love the fact that I could have a manual again, but... I currently have a 2023 Lexus IS500. I love it. I got it because of its V8 and Lexus reliability, but I am missing a manual. Because of that I started looking at Mach 1, but these quality issues are killing me. 🤦♂️.
If means that you were hanging turns wildly. It’s called 3 wheel motion when you are turning aggressively around a turn. you may have bent the chassis structure. Time to sell.
Sorry that happened.. my mach1 the roof panel is lower on the passenger side.. by millimeters but I can notice it. My old 2020 California special the trunk lid was off on the right. Had to tweak it.
Between the ( NO Option) shaker hood, AND the Dealer greed mark ups, It was very easy to say No Thanks to the new Mach 1. My luck, not only would I be enjoying fun little lack of quality control things that you are experiencing, my Mach would develop the dreaded so called (NORMAL) self destructive typewriter tick as well .
Oh they always hot rod your car after maintenance at the dealership that’s how they keep you coming back.when I have to carry my car in for maintenance I tell them no test driving my car because they will screw It up and leave you paying to get it fixed again and I know from experience so I started doing my own maintenance especially change the oil and filter. I own a 04 mustang GT and a 14 mustang GT
In addition, I do recall you saying your mach 1 is a daily driver and that you accept any stone chips or imperfections that may arise during your driving experience. I understand and accept that mindset. I personally am not wired that way with my mach 1. I suppose sometimes I feel I'm to protective of her. Go figure! Mixed feelings on my end. Get that door painted. It’s not old enough I bet that paint matches up. Lol they did my old gt bumper in velocity blue couldn’t tell at all. Matched right up.

Regarding the suspension, mine is just springs and it's a pretty rough ride (look out kidneys) so I wish I could have gotten the upgraded suspension.
Door touching is some legit quality concerns. Bummer Never plug a tire in a muscle car or any car. Unless life in a pinch Other issue maybe strut. Car under warranty have them find the issue. Good luck dude nice ride
I have a 2022 GT Premium with Perf. Pack, My passenger headlight does not fit right, there is a gap, it is going to Ford in September for that. We have a 2020 GT500 and 2 pieces on that one do not line up. We have had several mustangs in the last few years, the 2 we have now, have been the worst with the body not aligning correctly. Maybe we all have Friday cars! ☺
That fender door binding situation could have been corrected before it progressed as far as you let it. I remember when you brought it to our attention early on when it was clearly repairable. I have to be honest here my friend. You should have prioritized that getting fixed before it got worse. I have to zonk you on the delay. Now you have a cosmetic issue that won't be easy to bring back to original. Love your content and always look forward to your videos on the 2021 Mach 1 !

Hey Jake that really sucks about your door I would probably just use touch paint but ask a body shop for options. CJ Pony has a great video on how to get the best results using touch up paint!
I'm wondering why you didn't take it to the dealer as soon as you realized these issues. I take My 24,000 mile Chrysler 300C Hemi and my Escape ST to my dealership as soon I find any issues. You should have taken your Mach 1 in for those wheel lips installation that you received after purchasing the car. Did you say your friend was using a screw driver attempting to align the body. That sounds like a bad idea. Using it a your primary vehicle. Expect rock chips. I just had someone plant their door into my side door. I'm really pissed. But it's set up to be repaired and paint corrected. New cars are expensive. Get those issues repaired and find a good paint shop that does paint correction for your rock chips. I'm surprised you plugged your tire instead of having it patched unless the hole is located where tires shops won't repair it. Maybe a replacement since it's still leaking. Love your Mach 1. I would be setting at my Ford dealership tomorrow morning to align that door and panel plus anything else that needs to be repaired.
Every time I take it somewhere it’s a hassle and takes time, also usually something else gets damaged in the process of them trying to repair haha - I’m particular about letting others work on it
You must take it to dealer and make them fix the door alignment that an obvious issue that can be fixed asap. It is covered under warranty so a dealer must deal with it asap. Otherwise, you risk it getting worse and having dealer blame you or it not being covered under warranty, sooner the better is the rule on fixing factory problems.
Jake I hope that dull noise in the strut is solved, to see if it is a loose nut or something similar. And the door ,disassemble and frame again hold more tightly and won't fall down. For the rest, how do you say, it is a unique and unrepeatable car. I am looking forward to mine on August 31. I'll send you photos on Instagram. Regards my friend!!
I drove by, saw it, bought it, they are hard to find, so just took it, didn’t shop around or spend my time doing all that just wanted it and got it, hope that makes sense
Wait wait wait! I had a clunking sound after my first maintenance and I took it back and it was the output for the transmission!! And I’ve been having nothing but problems with mine! It started having a slight vibrating as well I can’t even see out my rear view mirror it vibrates so bad. I also have the automatic transmission. Already looking at trading it in!!! The mach1 is trash 🫠
1. That’s all they had in stock and it was not a planned purchase and 2. I’ve wanted to try the 10 speed since 2018 3. The handling package is hard to get so I bought it on the spot as soon as I saw it driving by 4. I bought the manual pp GT in 2015 and drove it for 7 years with the manual and it was so boring compared to the 10 speed test drive! I’d still like to own a manual Mach 1 also

My friend just bought a brand new C8 Corvette that thing has some bad panels gaps it’s unbelievable for a $100k vehicle.

Couldn’t hear it - pretty normal except when driving very slow you can hear the intake sucking and sounds like a supercharger a little

The first problem is you bought the Automatic. Why would anyone want the Auto when it literally has the baddest ass 6spd carried over from the GT350
