Yes it is a base model Mach 1 with the Handling Package based off the Ford configurator and the prescence of the cloth seats. You can get leather with a Premium Mach 1 or spend a bit more to get the Recaros. However the Recaros in this generation do not come with heated/cooled seats, but apparently with the upcoming S650, they will come with ventilated seats if I remember correctly
Another great video Que! I own a 22 Mach 1 (non-handling package) . That looked like the handling package edition you were driving. The non-handling package has the Michelin PS4s that are 275 in the rear and the handling package has the ps2s with 315s in the rear. I did a resonator delete and replaced it with H pipe and it sounds better and improves low end torque. You are right the tram lining is terrible but hopefully I'll notice some improvement on Tuesday when get rid of those hard summer only tires and put some all season Continental extreme contact tires on it which should help and just keep them on there year-round. Also the Mach 1 comes with the tremec 6-speed from the GT350 and that shifter was the stock shifter. It also comes with the cold air intake, throttle body and intake manifold from the GT350 so that air filter was the stock one. I do plan on getting it tuned and one day I may end up putting a flex fuel sensor on it. I love it and think it's the perfect combination of a car that you can have fun with on the weekends and still daily during the week.
Wow the track package adds some girth to the rear. It's a great car. I agree 100% with the H pipe. That was the only mod I did to my base 2019 GT and it sounded like a monster
Good review, good comments. I am sad for you that you have to drive in a square there in Michigan....here in North GA we drive on twisty, curvy, climbing and descending windy roads and THAT is where this Mach1 was meant to be! This car makes me laugh out loud as I drive it on amazing winding roads.
The Mach 1 is a nice vehicle. I’d take it over the 350 since I already have a Shelby. I’d go premium with the leather seats and handling package to get the nice spoiler and the nice wheels.

I found a custom ordered loaded Mach1 at my Ford dealer in grabber blue. It was $68k. I told them I would buy it if the deal fell through with the person who ordered it. You like the shifter because its a Tremec transmission and they feel amazing. Seats are base mustang cloth.
Air filter is not aftermarket change it and put k&n filter dats whatvi did and i deleted the resonator for more sound and power it also has active valve exhaust.were you can change the sound.
Que...my brother! Thanks for the video. So a few things. The wheels on that car tell you it's a handling package. Those wheels are specific to the handling package. Comes with the rear spoiler with the gurney flap, and the double spoilers in the front. The reason there is no heating or cooling of the seats is because they optioned the Recaro seats. Regular seats are heated and cooled. The shifter comes standard. All of them come as white on the Mach 1. I don't think it's the Premium though, because the speaker on the dash didn't look like the B&O. I may be wrong though. Anyway...I ordered a 2022 Mach 1 in Oxford White that will be here in Cali first week on November. Can't wait to get it. As I watched further...I realized it is NOT a Premium. Premium comes with leather seats standard and leather Recaro seats options. This had cloth seats...standard, not Recaro. Also on the Mach 1, instead of the Track Package, like the GT, it's a Handling Package.

Great car. Yes, this is a 'Handling Package' car. Under the hood, the Coyote gets the GT350 intake manifold and cold air intake, those are not aftermarket pieces. The rear wing and gurney flap are also part of the package. They are all OEM to the Mach 1.
On the next episode of Que The Chaotic Que cancels his 22/23 Subaru WRX order and purchases a Mustang Mach 1 as his new daily and goes back to having both a Camaro and Mustang which pleases GT350 and gets rid of the Mustang/ford Curse lol. I remember when I test drove a 22 Mustang GT recently with the track package it felt almost boat like whenever I made a turn, I was so shocked I was hoping it would feel stiff like the Camaro but it felt really wobbly, is it the same thing with the Mach1 when you compare it to your ZL1?
I would piss a lot of people off getting a Mach 1 lol. At this point I'd try to get a darkhorse or a GT PP2. The suspension is very similar to the Camaros when Magnaride is equipped. My only gripe is the uneven pavement. Theres a fix in the aftermarket. My base GT rode like a Buick lol. It had a nice amount of body roll. I'll just buy Mustang GT350's car when hes done with it next spring (wink)

You did good. If you want a manual this is the one to get for the tremec. I had a gt350. Too many issues to make it worth keeping around. Miss the sound of the voodoo though.
I have a 21 mach 1 w handling package and I think they underrated the horsepower. Every single dyno for it is 503 to 526. And driving it I definitely feel like it's more. Love mine and will never get rid of it. Also glad because the dark horse will cost 12 to 15k more. Mine has everything but the Recaros. Didnt want those. I did switch out the sport cup 2s for 4s. So much better and tolerable.

The usage of "Parts-bin" cars always seems to carry a bad reputation, except in this case, it's the best of the best parts. GT 500 suspension, GT350 Tremec transmission, Oil cooler, trans cooler, and diff cooler from the GT350R and GT500 make this a beast on the track and on the roads. I've got the 2021 with the premium package with the technology package in the Fighter Jet Gray and have discovered that there are only 3 in my area, and with the mods I have done, I stand out. If nothing else, my car is easy to spot if it's ever stolen...of course, all the cops around here know my car and I guess that keeps me in line...somewhat...lol
Bro.. I'm literally shopping for a gt350 right now. And you're video popped up in my feed. I seen a old video you posted the other day about your 350 that kind of influenced me. Started of wanting a mach1 or atleast pp2. I'm not really into drag racing. I'm more into how a car handles. Family, What would you recommend? The 5.2 is hard to ignore. Btw that has the handling pack on there. Those wheels are kind of hard.
If you don't mind checking the oil of the GT350, I would go that route. The engine is a different experience. The Mach 1 can't be ignored though. If you plan on keeping for a long time, I'd go Mach 1. If you don't care about the Shelby badge and how "special" the car is, Mach 1 all the way. It'll give you a lot of the same experience. Just a different exhaust note and revving really high.

You take that exact on ramp in a C8 and it will sound like a church mouse. No sound at all in that push rod OHV truck engine . Plus a wimpy 6500 red line so you don’t break it.

I'm watching these pretty hard TBH. People who ordered them are backing out. That's only going to be more frequent with more interest hikes coming. I wouldn't be surprised if they start discounting some 22s that have sat by the spring time. Only problem is, loan rates might be close to 9% by then. Will be a very interesting next 6 months in the car market.
The air filter is stock too. The Mach one took aspects of the gt350. Mach 1 has the same intake manifold, intake itself, same subframe, same oil cooler and same Tremec transmission as the gt350

I would get the track pack but living up in Northeast it's not worth it due to the poor road conditions but been looking at a 2021 due to slightly more HP than 22/23 models. Must be Manuel. Good video!
I thought all Mach's were for the Track??? And he is so right about visibility on the Mustangs.. That was one of the main things that got me in a Mustang GT over the Challenger and the Camaro.. Those cars were so hard to see out of.. It felt like work trying to see out of both of those cars..

I'm actually looking into buying a Shelby or Mach 1. Leaning hard towards the GT350R looked at the GT500, but I need a manual and a car that can do more than straight line speed. Hence, Mach 1 vs. GT350. The reliability of the GT350 is the only thing that has me thinking about the Mach 1. Mach 1 may be very close, but it can't match how special the Shelby is. Question is, is that exhaust note and character of the GT350 worth the headache of reliability keeping it long term? Or would the Mach 1 be the better buy and still give me at least close to the same smiles per gallon? 🤔
I hear you on that! In the long run, the Shelby will be worth more. I would love to have the GT350R just because pf how special it is. Driving wise, the Mach 1 is just as fun. The GT350 revs a little bit higher. I'm in the minority on the GT350 exhaust. I wasn't crazy about it. I just like deep exhausts. I don't love Aventador or Lexus LFA exhaust. I'm the wrong one to ask about the exhaust. Other people absolutely love it though. EVERYONE. To sum it up, I would probably get the latest model GT350R and beat on it and have the warranty cover the rest

Ford made about 15k Mach 1s from 21-23 and about 26K GT350s. Mach 1 is far more rare, essentially a gt350 with a modified coyote motor. I think both with have value in the future, if for nothing more than exclusivity.
Well for a car that cost well over $55 to $60,000 to have cloth seats and 1 piston brake on the rear is astounding. Nobody can cheapen a car like Bill Ford. I remember 70's 90's when they were real good. My 2005 was great.

Only reason I'd consider the Mach 1 over a GT is the tremec. Even then it would have to have the track package, which is $4500. It's pretty expensive still, so I think you'll get way more for your money with a 2019-2020 GT350. I'm looking at a perfect $72,500 2019 GT350 with all options and 2000 miles over a brand new $69,500 Mach 1 with some options and a tremec. The GT350 is a better buy IF it's a 2019-2020.

you can get heated seats added to the Recaros, it is 3rd party, they just add the heated to seat to the current recaro seat. it was like 500 bucks
I often refer to the Mach 1 as a GT350 with a 5.0. The Tremec 6-speed, and the MagneRide put this one way above a GT.

Never on planet earth has a stock mach 1 ever dyno anywhere near 500hp at the wheels, you are on drugs.

Yea, the steering feel setting is strange in the Mach 1. You can only change it to comfort if you are in normal mode.

Started of wanting a mach1 or atleast pp2. I'm not really into drag racing. I'm more into how a car handles. Family, What would you recommend? The 5.2 is hard to ignore. Btw that has the handling pack on there. Those wheels are kind of hard.
If you don't mind checking the oil of the GT350, I would go that route. The engine is a different experience. The Mach 1 can't be ignored though. If you plan on keeping for a long time, I'd go Mach 1. If you don't care about the Shelby badge and how "special" the car is, Mach 1 all the way. It'll give you a lot of the same experience. Just a different exhaust note and revving really high.

You take that exact on ramp in a C8 and it will sound like a church mouse. No sound at all in that push rod OHV truck engine . Plus a wimpy 6500 red line so you don’t break it.
600a (base Mach 1 non heated/cooled cloth seats) with optional Handling Package. Recaros are an option also.

Thanks a lot! I think you get way more car in the ZL1 vs the Mach 1. The Mach 1 is priced too high to me. It's on the level of the SS 1LE. Once the market levels out, a used Mach 1 will be a steal

I'm watching these pretty hard TBH. People who ordered them are backing out. That's only going to be more frequent with more interest hikes coming. I wouldn't be surprised if they start discounting some 22s that have sat by the spring time. Only problem is, loan rates might be close to 9% by then. Will be a very interesting next 6 months in the car market.

The air filter is stock too. The Mach one took aspects of the gt350. Mach 1 has the same intake manifold, intake itself, same subframe, same oil cooler and same Tremec transmission as the gt350

I think the fastback is one of the original Mach 1s. The new one is considered a fastback though

I would get the track pack but living up in Northeast it's not worth it due to the poor road conditions but been looking at a 2021 due to slightly more HP than 22/23 models. Must be Manuel. Good video!

I thought all Mach's were for the Track??? And he is so right about visibility on the Mustangs.. That was one of the main things that got me in a Mustang GT over the Challenger and the Camaro.. Those cars were so hard to see out of.. It felt like work trying to see out of both of those cars..

The Mach 1 is a much better street and track car than a GT350.
I have a SS Camaro and I love Mustangs and Mopar, but then you get the Mustangs and Mopar guys calling a SS Camaro..SS = super slow..is pretty annoying...

I'm actually looking into buying a Shelby or Mach 1. Leaning hard towards the GT350R looked at the GT500, but I need a manual and a car that can do more than straight line speed. Hence, Mach 1 vs. GT350. The reliability of the GT350 is the only thing that has me thinking about the Mach 1. Mach 1 may be very close, but it can't match how special the Shelby is. Question is, is that exhaust note and character of the GT350 worth the headache of reliability keeping it long term? Or would the Mach 1 be the better buy and still give me at least close to the same smiles per gallon? 🤔
I hear you on that! In the long run, the Shelby will be worth more. I would love to have the GT350R just because pf how special it is. Driving wise, the Mach 1 is just as fun. The GT350 revs a little bit higher. I'm in the minority on the GT350 exhaust. I wasn't crazy about it. I just like deep exhausts. I don't love Aventador or Lexus LFA exhaust. I'm the wrong one to ask about the exhaust. Other people absolutely love it though. EVERYONE. To sum it up, I would probably get the latest model GT350R and beat on it and have the warranty cover the rest
@QueTheChaotic I feel you on the sound. I like it for it how unique it is but, I perfer deep tones as well. The LFA sounds like trash to me. 😅 GT500 sound great I just can't get over the automatic.
Ford made about 15k Mach 1s from 21-23 and about 26K GT350s. Mach 1 is far more rare, essentially a gt350 with a modified coyote motor. I think both with have value in the future, if for nothing more than exclusivity.
The more I watch about the Mach 1 the more I like it.

Well for a car that cost well over $55 to $60,000 to have cloth seats and 1 piston brake on the rear is astounding. Nobody can cheapen a car like Bill Ford. I remember 70's 90's when they were real good. My 2005 was great.

That's my splitter on my 17 GT CS.
Only reason I'd consider the Mach 1 over a GT is the tremec. Even then it would have to have the track package, which is $4500. It's pretty expensive still, so I think you'll get way more for your money with a 2019-2020 GT350. I'm looking at a perfect $72,500 2019 GT350 with all options and 2000 miles over a brand new $69,500 Mach 1 with some options and a tremec. The GT350 is a better buy IF it's a 2019-2020.
Still have to watch the oil consumption. My GT350 was a 2019 and had oil issues. I agree that the value isn't there on the Mach 1

Gt350 engine is 20/25 grand and may again may give you issues. Coyote is more reliable and available for a 3rd of the cost.
