Got a 2021 Mach 1
A perfect car for the whole family, a daughter of 12 and a son a 9 - no worries with luggage for us, cabin space is perfectly ok even for longer trips of 250-350km in the backseat without stops.
The ride and the fun to drive the car is amazing,!
Myself could continue to drive it for hours and hours as it is such fun, a real car! =)
Just added an H-pipe and changed clutch spring - transformed the car to a new beast! More torque at lower revs feels better.
Still being the same car, but the rumble now is like goosebumps every time, and the clutch spring - well it transformed the gear shifting from enjoyable to freaking amazing!
If you are thinking about getting one - just do it!

Its becoming hilarious checking your kids reaction when you hit the loud pedal. On this one they were clearly not impressed. Cracking video and really good point about the noise a car makes giving pedestrians an audible heads up!
I honestly think they are just used to fast cars now 😅 the feeling of acceleration isn’t shocking to them anymore

The GT is a bit soft, suspension wise, depending... Mach 1, all the way!

Very sensible performance car, IMO. Relatively good value, too. And here in the UK, they're quite special. I also agree that the likes of the black plastic front splitter are a good thing.
What are the annual running costs of an early one of these? I suspect they're relatively reliable.
I have been buying mustangs since 1990 + and if the quality climbed like the price you would be driving with the highest quality of a Rolls - Royce. Well done. Thanks

When I bought my 21 Mach 1 I was given one free day at Ford Performance Racing School. It's called Mach 1 Track Attack. It was such a great experience.
I love the fighter jet gray color. When I bought that was one thing that was non-negotiable.

What’s the exhaust note like these in real life have they been dumbed down for the uk market?
I have a 69 plate GT PP1 done 25000 miles in two years best car I have ever had looking at getting the dark horse next year here in the uk
I’ve sat in a dark horse… not a fan of the screens but it’s brilliant they are still making manual V8s!
Awesome color.. What car seats are those? i have twin 3 year old girls and have a 22 in shadow black. They havent rode in mine yet but wanna be able to take the family in it on occasions

I have the 21 Mach 1 and IMO it's the best current non-Shelby Mustang. I had a 1969 Mach 1 which I really enjoyed for twenty years, but the current Mach 1 is better in every way.

The Hyundai N digital dash is pretty good but the touchscreen is dangerous! Maybe I’m old fashioned but idrive is the best.

Plastic is what's messing up these cars these days. Too much of it, likr6 that Mustang lower front end of anything lightly hit that. It absolutely should be made of carbon or carbon kevlar.
It makes sense for me with the Mustang as it would become an expensive car otherwise. I fully agree it’s strange to see so much basic plastic on very expensive German sports cars though!
What about your 8 and 10 year olds?
8 and 10 year olds would fit in the back easily too I’d say

Roughly right but at ‘extended’ motorway speeds this is the first car I’ve ever driven that I could really feel the change. When circumstances allow it’s really noticeable around 80, which is basically what you said :)
Lol maybe not on the school run but honestly the dynamics of the Mach 1 feel much more planted even at low speed
