I feel so bad for 4L. They're company did them EXTREMELY dirty in their choreo, outfits and music video storyline. The song isn't bad, but the company wanted shocked value too much. (I think this was right around the time Stellar had gained attention for Marionette). They knew from the get go that they wouldn't be allowed to promote without MAJOR changes but went ahead with it.

Regarding the concepts, at least once a year, the group should meet with whoever makes the decisions in their company and talk about their view of future comebacks, and just how things are going in general. This should also be a time for the members to ask questions and express any concerns they might have.
Any member being uncomfortable with portraying sexiness should be a veto against it especially if she is a minor. Perhaps modifications can be made to the lyrics or the choreography, but pushing girls into simulating "adult behavior" is just wrong. Clear communication would be ideal.
I know little about Korean society, so these ideas might be much too Western.
I'm relatively new to K-pop fandom and I had not heard of these groups.
