" Tuesday marked 17 years since Jennifer Kesse disappeared in Orlando. Seventeen heart-shaped balloons were left at the Mosaic at Millenia complex where Kesse was last seen on January 24, 2006. The 24-year-old vanished without a trace, and no one's been arrested. Her family tells FOX 35 they have new leads in the case. Drew Kesse - Jennifer's father - says the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is working on the case with the family’s investigators. After spending over $80,000 on case files from the Orlando Police Department, Kesse says they’re getting new leads. Orlando police initially investigated the case, but the family was not happy with how it was handled. Kesse says the department botched the investigation from the moment an officer was sent out when calls were first made about her disappearance. It always amazes me that the police will tell you that the first 24 hours are the most important hours, then they tell you to wait until the person just ran away or is out cooling down. As a parent that is infuriating. They are so backwards.

My husband is Mexican and came here 13 years ago so this isn't a racist comment I'm about to make. It's just facts. Hispanic men tend to be very short but STRONG as hell. Also, the first time my husband spoke to me the first time we met he pretended he didn't speak English. He did. Very well, in fact so I'm sure some of those men spoke English but didn't want to get involved.

I lived within 1 mile of Jennifer Kesse during this time. Every yearly anniversary her family would be at the 711 gas station next door with signs. This is the most frusterating case due to the 1 chance in a million that all photos that caught the suspect, he/she happened to be behind a pole or the gate. The complex her car was left at was basically my backyard. Only a fence between my apartment at the time and that complex. I think of Jennifer every year on January 24th- the morning it was confirmed she was missing. THANK YOU for covering this case & keeping it alive. Her parents & brother are some of the nicest people you'd ever meet.

I had a friend who opted out of the college route…she got a job as a waitress and got her own apartment on the third floor.
Several months went by but she started noticing things moving in her apartment. She was so scared to sleep alone-she thought the place was haunted. She’d beg me and other friends to sleep over at her house. Truth be told, we were all young so I thought she must have just been freaked out to be living on her own at 18.
Turns out a maintenance man was coming into her apartment when she wasn’t there and when she was sleeping!!!!! How terrifying!
She moved out immediately and the apartment complex tried to bill her for breaking her lease. She sued and won for damages; thankfully.
I’m 33 now and still think about how scary that whole situation was.

Experimental, organ harvesting, or trafficking our own government and police I have heard are involved and when they snatch someone that person will never be found. As a Property Manager, I can say this is on the Manager and Management company. The lease spells it out that no one can be on the property that isn’t on the lease let alone let “workers” live in units for free. 🤯 The cops need to look into the Property Management company and see if there have been any other similar issues happen to residents at other properties that were under construction. I would talk to the construction superintendent and find out if he had any workers that wasn’t on time for work that morning and if he knew of any that were staying on the property during the job. The property that I just transferred from had multiple crews and I was in constant contact with the construction superintendent.

I think it's beyond insane that the person on the video had their face obscured not once, not twice, but three times! There are other strange synchronicities in this case, which she did not mention. Her ex boyfriend was drinking at a bar nearby when this happened. Also, a co-worker who was interviewed, I think it was that same guy who had a thing for her, made some flippant remark about her having been eaten by alligators. And that whole thing about not being able to understand the workers? In Florida? Come on. Do you know how many hispanic people live in the Orlando area? It's another example, of which there are thousands, of the police not doing their due diligence.

But the other people I deal with out in the field every day, I can’t speak for. So many men watch me and hit on me when I’m working. Agree. In one frame the suspect looked kind of like they had a pony tail or bun. Because of that, the height and build, I'm wondering if it's a woman. Maybe not, but a man and woman could have been working together, especially if it was trafficking.
