All these years later and this sound track still rocks. One of the best games I've ever played. And some of the best music I have ever heard! Dang, I wish Lego would rerelease this game again. The nostalgia would be through the roof.

@@hankscorpio3959 Its because of the frame rate. The fule consumption is linked to the frame rate. More frames, less fule. I've had the same problem. After setting my framerate to 30 it was no problem anymore.
Re-listening to this now has been a borderline-religious experience for me. I played this game when I was 4 or 5. I'm now a musician, and, in retrospect, I can't help but think that this music must have had a *significant* subconscious effect on me.
I still remember playing this as a child and I, for whatever reason, could just not figure out the controls on the fishing game at the oasis. Never made it past this point. At that age I was too stupid to check the menu for controls, and I guess the controls were not adapted for German keyboard layouts (which differs from the UK/US ones).
Oh !!!! i had the exact same issue, but i was even more dub, because i never realised you could save the game, so i had to start over every time. The i came to the fishing part and i could never pass it ... that was when i was lucky because we had a shitty pc and it often crashed !!
The medieval song was stuck in my head for 15 years. I finally remember it was in this game. Superb song to defeat Cedric. Had hard times on the joust. I loved this game as a 7yo
Wow, this is fantastic and the quality is so good! I loved this game as a kid and played through it like 20 times or so. But now being grown up and playing a lot of games, i understand that it actually wasn't that good. The soundtrack however holds up rather well - there are some absolute masterpieces in it.
I don't think that LEGO Island 2 is a bad game perhaps - it's just held together by duct tape. The only thing I see that this game is superior in comparison to the original is its age really, then again this game also hasn't aged very well.

I really enjoyed Lego Island 1 as a kid, and I wanted to play Lego Island 2, but I only had the demo which only had the parachute through rings. Lego Island 2 came out before GTA3, think I'd be better for me to have played this vs Gta3 😅
