I remember loving this game but the golfing part always was to hard for me. So I would run upstairs and ask my dad to help and watching him get invested in the game as he shot hole after hole, he would compliment me on how far I got in the game and he will never know how much that meant to me. For such a small thing it must have seemed at the time, spending time with your son. I won’t forget seeing him happy.

Dark Cloud 2 was an iconic part of my childhood, as much as Final Fantasy X. So in my opinion, the ost will always be on par with Final Fantasy

I cherished these games as a child. They were my most favorite ps2 games i ever owned.
This game was formative for me. I remember it was one of my first PS2 games. At first, I was never able to beat the first boss and lost interest. Then I remember some time, maybe a year later picking it back up and once I got past Dran, I poured so many hours into (almost) beating the game. BRB, going to play Dark Cloud on my PS5.
Never could I have imagined that as an adult, more than 15 years later.... I would be playing Dark Cloud on PlayStation 5.... hoping to get just a sliver.... a piece, a micron of that childhood joy back.
I remember playing this on the demo disc for the first time back then and later getting the game. Up to this day, it remains to be my No.1 of all the videogames out there! The soundtrack, story and design are so lovely! Owl forest is my fav track! I'm glad the PS4 store still has this game. Not many know about this gem, it's pretty underrated but soooo good!

Remember when you had to hit the sequence of buttons or you'd die? I used to think that was the epitome of gameplay and it literally could get any more fun than that HAHA i want to go back...

Been playing DC2 recently as I love the game almost completed it last chapter getting harder to kill the monsters x

if I could only pick one series it would have to be this because it was played by 3 generation in my family while growing up
Shame osmond wasn't in the main picture at the beginning.... But got some of these songs on Spotify, but glad I can have a all out play list to try and sleep to hopefully, lol.
This is a great compilation, although I think it would be even better if you'd mix the tracks between the two games instead of having exclusively DC1 followed by exclusively DC2.
