Bro.. PLEASE make another one. Ive been working on my own game and these ost make me stay inspired and motivated. All of these reminds me of my young days of ps1/ps2 eras of gaming
as an ancient super old near turning to ash decrepit senior gamer who had been playing game since the age of pong way before there is even the concept of console game , and a big lover of rpg genre , this ost compilation hit me hard in my kokoro , i so dearly missed my youth, way back when t-rex still roam the street , ah bitter sweet nostalgia
Finally a relaxing JRPG compilation where the person making it understood the assignment. So many of them have battle themes once you get about 4 tracks in. This is perfect.
Born in 91 so I grew up with the Playstation 1 and 2 these JRPG games use to make me wonder how my own story would go and how exciting it all was then you grow up and realize all that is just a fantasy now it makes sense why my generation find escape by going back to the past.
Dark Cloud holds a very special place in my heart, it's great to see that some people out there still remember and appreciate it :) thanks for this playlist.
I never got to finish it but I remember enjoying it quite a bit. My friend had it so I could only borrow it and play it in brief chunks. Maybe I should go back and give it another whirl.
This playlist greatly assisted me on my journey to becoming a self-taught programmer. Looking back, I couldn't imagine going through this arduous undertaking without this near-perfect playlist and its therapeutic contents by my side. Thank you, my friend. Words cannot effectively describe how much your upload has positively impacted my life.
Self-taught is the way to go. You can shape your knowledge based on what you want to do and not what others think you need to know. Some really advanced IA's are made by people without an universitary degree.
It's quite alright, I've learned that sometimes tears are a release of stress and anxiety. If you can't feel such emotions and release them properly, it eventually kills us in the form of disease or cancer. This is just my best guess. Love you all!
I swear, this is probably *the single best VGOST compilation* I've ever listened to. I've had this playing on loop for hours at this point. Thank you so, so much, Gaming Broductions, for this.
I am in my final semester of College and I want to say, from my heart, Thank you for this. The first mix was good and it only got better with this one. So many hours of studying and focusing was made possible with this mix alone. Thank you for the straight A's and B's!
you seriously need to make another one of this music playlist video. ive been listening to these many times and your selection of soundtracks are awesome compared to any other vids
Was listening to this while working my 2nd job at home with my 7yr old sleep in my bed when Breath of Fire' BGM kicked in and completely broke my concentration - wow, where did the years go, guys??
Wild Arms 2 @2:59:55 Man that's such a nostalgic feeling. I remember I was fascinated with this game's story, lore, game mechanics that I continued to fanfic in my head about each character's future.
What I love most about this mix is that the songs don’t repeat multiple times. Most mixes of video game music like this tend to loop songs until you get tired of them. This mix leaves me wanting more, so I can still enjoy it next time I listen! Great job guys!
I kind of love that this version has only non-SE tracks. I had forgotten about how nostalgic Legend of Dragoon, Lunar, and Legend of Legaia songs are for me since so many mixes are filled with FF songs. They were the first J-RPGs I ever played--thank you for this amazing playlist! 🥰
The good thing about listening to these songs is that they bring back good memories of when I was younger, for me to know some news about videogames was through magazines or a specific TV program that was very rare. The bad thing is knowing that in the old days, at that time, I was happy and didn't know it HAHAHAHAHA.
I feel emotionally devastated listening to this. I can't believe I remember the Thousand Arms title theme. Time sure passes fast. Feeling crazy nostalgic, like I gotta go back and replay these guys. Thanks for doing this.
After listening some JRPG soundtrack compilations as this one, I must congratulate you, cause this is one of the very best JRPG music "playlist" I heard on the platform.
ITS BACK YES Oh also jsyk from the 33:03 before dark cloud to the 4 in persona 4 is crossed out due to likely forgotten spaces in the hyphens. Prob just a quick edit to make the description a lil more legible. Thought i should say smthn. Anyways love the vid glad its back!
I have to say I never expected to hear Arc the lad IV on this list, I am amazed because I have only met 2 people who knew the game. Thanks for this video!
I bought the collectors edition of Arc the Lad 1-3 and I bought 4 when it came out on the PS2. Not a bad game, but I have to say that Arc the Lad 2 was my most favorite. I never managed to beat 3 or 4 though. Maybe some day. To your comment, I was also surprised and very happy to see any of the series added to this list ^_^
time is so graspless, all the vibes from this just make me reminisce about the passed 20 years ive been watching one piece weekly , the journey only ends when you wish it too , its all in teh kokoro
to avoid spoilers and let your selection hit my feelings by surprise, i intentionally did not check the playslist. When Baten Kaitos came on, I got the chills. I have fond memories of importing the US version to Germany back when I was 14. I never got to play the prequel BK Origins, as it never came to Europe, so I am SO excited for the switch remaster.
This mix is incredible. I find myself playing 2:58:01 on loop constantly, because it's one of my favorite town themes in any game. I'd love to see another mix like this in the future!
So many memories. I've saved so many worlds since the 80's. All the RPGs and a few others. I hope Neuro Link starts upgrading more people, so we can all have a chance at true greatness. I'd be super multitasking.
Really solid selection here guys! Out of all these songs, my personal favorite has to be either "Gentle Wind" from Baten Kaitos or "The Galaxy Public Corporation" from Rogue Galaxy. Hope to see more playlists like this in the future!
This is amazing. Like sent from God. PERFECT for morning routine. It just makes me feel so good and puts me in such a good mood. THANK YOU for taking the time to make this and share it.
I really appreciate your effort for making this. Truly is soft and relaxing from start to end...along with many varieties of classic melodies that touch the rpg soul, wonderful
Its good to see Starlight Canyon in the list, its the song (along with balance valley) that I use to chill after a bad day. It's cool to see that Im not the only one who will be using it to chill!
One of the best ambient gaming mixes on youtube! Most of these "chill" mixes have frenetic pieces that are distracting during work/study but yours is different. Kept it true to the title so thank you :)
Ahh you must just be like me. PSO is one of the most dearest things to my heart. What I would do to be a kid again and play this game with my brother and cousin.
thank you for this compilation - i've been under a lot of stress with studying for certification's for work and this has brought me back to reality and at peace.
I just had the reverse situation. I've enjoyed Ayumi Hamasaki for a long time (don't recall from where initially), but have NEVER played Thousand Arms. Suddenly there's this 16 bit version of a song I know super well and it completely caught me off-guard. Now I'm going to have to play Thousand Arms.
As I fall asleep to this I imagine scrolling endlessly through UI of PS1 era menu screens, moving through ITEMS, SKILLS, DATA and debating on if sleep was ever an option.
Any of these songs especially the first one will always bring to all the games and all the times I ever truly felt something good about sitting there and spending quality adventure time there's nothing like the first time you enjoy an rpg like it's always a part of you now it's a beautiful memory and forever a beautiful feeling.
I'm not as... er grown up as some of the people here 😅, but I've always loved to find free jrpgs on the mobile app stores because I'm not old enough to work a job yet... The only games I properly know are Kingdom Hearts which my older sister introduced me to, and Final Fantasy because I was fascinated with some Square Enix games for a while lul. I don't know why but I just like how JRPG songs are composed, they all give off this sort of feeling, obviously not all the same feeling but I like it a lot. Maybe it's because of royal road chord composition...or something, I haven't checked. I really like listening to these playlists and battle playlists when I draw, drawing characters with cool faces and spiky hair is fun! Anyway, if you read all the way down here, thanks for reading this haha :] Have a good morning, afternoon or evening.
Why not download an emulator on your phone (or PC if you have one! Even better!) and play some full fledged JRPG classics instead of watered down microtransaction filled mobile games? Or maybe watch some playthroughs. That would be really fun, I bet!

I'd love one with Tales of Eternia 🙈.

Dark Cloud? Breath of Fire III and VI? .Hack//Infection? Grandia? Jade Cocoon? Legend of Dragoon? Holy hell! This list has music from some real gems!
Finally a relaxing JRPG compilation where the person making it understood the assignment. So many of them have battle themes once you get about 4 tracks in. This is perfect.
So true!
I suppose people like to sleep to the sounds of conflict lol
It's because most of them are coppies of older videos. So the new uploader listened to three tracks and reuploaded with a new title after.
So true, people don't know how to make a consistent categorical compilation.
or after an hour its just persona music.

less than halfway through but this may be the best “relaxing jrpg music” playlist on yt

the game always made me wanna drink water and eat sweet pastries.
I remember nearly beating the game and then my memory card got corrupted. Never got to finish it.
@@tylergreen5207 all thre dark clouds are on playstation. XD maybe on steam too. yes three, Rogue Galaxy is Dark Cloud 3 in spirit.

I know it's going to be good when Mac Anu is the first song playing. Respect.

The thumbnail taken from Thousand Arms, that is a game I rarely see referenced or appreciated, is worth the like alone.

Of ALL the videos I have listened to, YOU are the one that includes dothack in the collection.
For me, nothing beats Dark Cloud music. So nostalgic, me and younger brother would watch our older brother play it on PlayStation in his room.
This playlist really wants me to try out JRPGs other than the ones from Square Enix, which are fantastic btw.
Tales of the Abyss- try it out! It is seriously the best one I've ever played.
Started out with my favorite jrpg song of all time and instantly knew I choose the right playlist

I appreciate the effort to bring this back. I may even like it better without the weight of Square's songs on it :D
Love the extra efforts with the pictures
Finally someone puts Valley of the Wind, it seems all the other video creators have never heard of it before haha
Thanks for the reupload bro. Sucks the square songs are gone but I appreciate you keeping the track listing available.
